Abstract

A device for controlling the opening of a plurality of sheet grippers in a sheet-fed rotary press wherein the grippers are arranged to form a row on a gripper shaft disposed on a rotating cylinder. The gripper shaft is centrally controlled between its ends by two cam control systems acting in parallel relationship on the ends of an actuating shaft, by turning of the latter, with a central adjusting means interconnecting the actuating shaft and the gripper shaft to provide a symmetrically divided torsional force adjustable to vary the opening width of the grippers according to the sheet thickness being processed.

Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile bestehen darin, daß ein schnellerer Greiferschluß und ein verkürzter Kraftaufbau bewirkt werden, so daß trotz erhöhter Greiferkräfte die Verspannung des Systems Greifersteuerkurve, Laufrolle, Antriebshebel, Betätigungswelle, zentrale Verstelleinrichtung und Greiferwelle für die Öffnungsweite der Greifer verringert wird. Die Krafteinleitung erfolgt durch die als Verschraubung wirkende Stelleinrichtung symmetrisch zu beiden Kurvensteuerungen. Dadurch werden durch Verspannungen im Steuerungssystem bewirkte Passerdifferenzen und Doubliererscheinungen beseitigt. Auf einem umlaufenden Druckzylinder 8 oder einer Trommel sind eine Anzahl Z einer Greiferreihe zusammengefaßte Greifer 5 angebracht. Die Greifer 5 arbeiten mit einer Greiferauflage 9 zusammen und werden über einen Antrieb gesteuert, der zu beiden Seiten des Druckzylinders 8 oder einer Trommel je eine Kurvensteuerung 6, 7 mit Antriebshebeln 10, 11 und Laufrollen 12, 13 aufweist. Eine Greiferwelle 2 wird über eine als Verschraubung ausgebildete zentrale Verstelleinrichtung 3 von einer Betätigungswelle 1 betätigt, die formschlüssig mit den Antriebshebeln 10, 11 verbunden ist. Die Betätigungswelle 1 und die Greiferwelle 2 sind im Meßring 14 des Druckzylinders 8 oder einer Trommel gegeneinander verdrehbar gelagert. Die Greifer 5 werden mittels Federkraft durch Federstangen 4 geöffnet. Die Laufrollen 12, 13 laufen auf Stirnflächen um den Umfang der zugehörigen Steuerkurve 17, 18 herum. Die Steuerkurven 17, 18 können gleiche Kurven oder für eine Zwangssteuerung sowohl Innenkurven als auch Außenkurven aufweisen. Die Einleitung der Kraft beider Antriebe erfolgt durch die Betätigungswelle 1 über die zentrale Verstelleinrichtung 3 in der Mitte der Greiferwelle 2. Die Betätigungswelle 1 weist hierzu einen Arm 19 auf, auf dem sich eine Stellschraube mit Skala 3 abstützt, die gegen die Vorspannung durch die Federstangen 4 verdrehbar in einem Lagerarm 20 der Greiferwelle 2 zur symmetrischen Antriebsverbindung und zentralen Einstellung der Greiferöffnungsweite auf die zu verarbeitende Bogenstärke angeordnet ist. Durch die zentrale Anordnung einerseits zwischen den Kurvensteuerungen 6, 7 und andererseits zwischen Betätigungswelle 1 und Greiferwelle 2 wird die Torsionskraft symmetrisch geteilt und zugleich auf unterschiedliche Bogenstärken mit der erforderlichen Genauigkeit einstellbar. Auf diese Weise werden Doubliererscheinungen und Passerdifferenzen zugleich vermieden, weil trotz erhöhter Aufschlagkraft der Greifer das System Greifer-Steuerkurve 17, 18, Antriebshebel 10, 11, Laufrolle 12, 13, Betätigungswelle 1, Greiferwelle 2 und zentrale Verstelleinrichtung 3 durch parallele Anordnung zweier Kurvensteuerungen 6, 7 nicht mehr unzulässig verspannt wird. Claims (4)
