Abstract

A ring-shaped arrangement of individual work locations. Tables which are preferably trapezoidal are arranged in a ring, in the middle of which is disposed a region which is free of table tops, and in which can be disposed common supply lines or the like. The individual work locations, which are arranged around the central region, are respectively separated from an adjacent table by a vertical partition in which is disposed a material-transfer opening. The supply of material to the individual work locations can be effected from supply bins disposed on a shelf supported above the ring-shaped table top on the upper edges of the radially directed partitions. If it is a question of small parts, the latter can be transferred to the work location via conveying tubes, which lead from the supply bins on the shelf to the table top of the individual work locations.

Description

The invention relates to a work station arrangement for the series production of smaller complex devices.

In series production - especially in the manufacture of electrical or mechanical small components - generally use elongated tables, slowly moving conveyor belts or a combination of an elongated table with a conveyor belt running in parallel. The workplaces are then one behind the other along the work table. The disadvantage here is the relatively large space requirement, since each individual work station requires its own supply connections, which are then generally provided in the ceiling area or in a non-accessible and non-usable edge area of the work space.

The object of the invention is to provide an improved work station arrangement in which the supply connections, e.g. for electrical energy, compressed air, welding gases, inert gases, compressed air, suction air, water, drains and the like. can be made much shorter and thus take up less space.

To achieve the aforementioned object, the present invention proposes a work station arrangement, which is characterized in that the work stations are arranged on the outer circumference of a table with an annular table surface, which is divided into table surface sectors each assigned to a work station, and that the supply connections serving all work stations are provided in the middle of the table surface free area , e.g. for electrical energy, lighting, gas, air, water, drains, gas vents are arranged.

A plurality of worktables which are essentially identical in shape with trapezoidal table surfaces are preferably provided, which with their oblique table edges abut the open, preferably polygonally delimited central region.

The arrangement according to the invention not only leads to a significantly reduced line requirement, but also to an improved utilization of the work rooms and a reduction in the risk of accidents due to poorly laid lines, which can be an obstacle in the way of accessing the work room and the material transport. Further details and features of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated below with reference to the accompanying drawings, for example.

The drawings show:
  • 1 is a perspective view of a work station arrangement according to the invention after removal of the seating provided for the workers around the table,
  • 2 shows a detail of FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale,
  • Fig. 3 is a schematic plan view of a work station arrangement according to the invention and
  • Fig. 4 is a view similar to FIG. 3 of a modified work station arrangement, in which the work station ring is open and adjoins a rectilinear work table section.

Die Innenkanten 13 der Tischplatten begrenzen den tischplattenfreien Mittelbereich 16.The basic scheme of the invention can be seen from FIG. 3. Here, the ring-shaped table 1 consists of six individual work tables 10 with a trapezoidal table top 11. The individual tables 10 are composed such that their side edges 14 abut on the corresponding side edge of the neighboring table. In this way an annular one is created Table arrangement with a free central area 16, in which the supply connections 40 are located, which FIG. 3 shows schematically as a rectangle. The individual workers A sit on chairs (not shown) in front of the outer edges 12 of the individual work tables 10. The inner edges 13 of the table tops delimit the central area 16 free of the table top.

To delimit the individual workstations, there are radially directed partition walls 20 in the area of the inclined side edges, in which material transfer openings 21 are located. In this way, the workers seated around the circumference of the annular table 1 cannot interfere with each other. The components to be manufactured in series are passed on via the transfer openings 21 in the partition walls. These transfer openings can optionally also be provided with a slide 22, as can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2.

As can be seen in FIG. 1, each individual work table 10 is provided with its own table legs 15, so that the work station arrangement for storage, conversion or repair can be taken apart very easily. In addition, this separate design of the ring-shaped table enables a conversion according to FIG. 4. If, as assumed in FIG. 4, the series products produced on a ring-shaped path, for example, have to be fed to a linear conveyor line, two of the six work tables can be removed from the circle take out in order to position them in opposite directions on the last of the worktables still in a circle. Self It is understandable that there is no difficulty in building an entire straight work table from any number of work tables with a trapezoidal table surface. The work station arrangement according to the invention is thus extremely versatile in use with only a relatively small number of individual components which are easy to handle.

As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, the radially directed vertical dividing walls 20, which are preferably transparent and made of plastic, support a shelf plate 30 which extends over the entire open central region 16 of the annular work table 1 or can also be open in the middle when supply lines have to be fed from the ceiling of the room.

The shelf 30 carries a plurality of storage containers 31, which preferably consist of impact-resistant, transparent plastic material, so that one always has an overview of the filling of these containers 31. These containers 31 contain the small parts to be processed, such as preformed plastic elements, small metal parts, screws, rivets, contact knives and the like. depending on the type of manufacture envisaged. These storage containers 31 are connected via conveying hoses 32 to the individual workstations at which the corresponding components are to be processed. The lower end of the delivery hoses is provided, where necessary, with a bird trough-like removal bowl 33.

In connection with FIG. 2, the work of a worker sitting at this work place is to be described. In the middle of his workplace is a pneumatically operated machine 34, for example a punch, a press, a riveting device or the like. The work place, in particular the work machine 34 to be loaded, lies in the light of a lamp 23 which can be directed as desired in a hanging manner on a ball joint. The worker sitting at the workplace in FIG. 2 receives the prefabricated parts, for example, from the adjacent work station on the left via the material transfer opening 21, in which a conveyor chute 22 can be located. The prefabricated piece is then inserted into the work machine 34 by this worker and combined with further small components, which are then connected to the workpiece by the worker pressing the actuating buttons 36a and 36b, which are duplicated for safety reasons. The worker then passes on the finished or finished workpiece in this way to the right-hand workplace by placing it on the slide 22 in the right-hand transfer opening 21. The components used in the working machine takes the worker to Entnahmenä p fen 33 which project beyond the delivery hoses 32 with the respective reservoirs 31 in connection.

The supply of electrical energy for the lighting 23, for the working machine 34 and the like. takes place via the tabletop-free central area 16, which contains the supply connections of all workplaces.

As an example, only one power distribution box 40 is shown in FIG. Depending on the type of work to be carried out, the supply of the individual workstations also includes other hose or cable lines. For example, in the case of autogenous welds, the welding gases must also be supplied. Additional DC or low-voltage connections are often also required. If harmful vapors, such as soldering vapors, arise at the individual workplaces, the individual workplaces should also be air-conditioned by suctioning off the .Sase that arises at the workplace and discharging them over the central area of the table. Fresh air can also be supplied in the same way. In this case, too, feeders and drains run through the central area 16 of the work table at the individual work stations, for example, for cooling water.

Finally, it should be pointed out that the number of tables to be arranged over a circumference is arbitrary. When arranged in a very large circle, a very large number of individual sector-shaped work tables can of course also be arranged, in which case, of course, a relatively large central region 16 also arises.
