- the invention relates to a monitoring device for late detonators for an externally powered gun, with an ammunition feed housing in which a switch is slidably mounted, which, in the event of a delay in ignition, redirects the cartridges supplied to the weapon into an ejection channel and these remain on an endless chain.
- the cartridges are transported by a star wheel into the weapon housing and are pushed there into one or more gun barrels by one or more locks. After the cartridges have been fired, the empty cases are pulled out of the barrel and ejected. If the ignition is delayed, the cartridge is no longer pulled out of the barrel and no more cartridges may be added. The cartridges fed through the star wheel are therefore no longer fed to the weapon, but instead are returned on an endless chain. For this purpose, a switch is switched in the event of an ignition delay, so that the cartridges are no longer transported to the weapon, but remain on the endless chain.

- a zap fen 31 attached, which protrudes into a corresponding bore of two balance beams 32.
- the two balance beams 32 are pivotally mounted about bolts 33 in the housing 28 and have the task of lowering the other segment when lifting one segment.
- Two plate spring assemblies 34 endeavor to push the segment 26 out of its lowest position shown (FIG. 3) into its uppermost position.
