Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lounger or a deck chair made of a rigid plastic body with a continuous contact surface.
Loungers and deckchairs of the type mentioned, on which one can sit, lie and rest comfortably, are known in a variety of embodiments.
There are also inflatable, buoyant loungers that can be used to lie on the water. However, these inflatable beds have the disadvantage that they are very unstable, do not allow a comfortable resting position and, moreover, are already washed over by small waves.
The invention has for its object to provide a lounger or a deck chair that combines the good properties of erectable loungers or deck chairs and floating inflatable loungers, so that the user in a comfortable and relaxing position with the lounger or deck chair can also swim on the water.
Starting from a lounger or a deck chair made of a rigid plastic body, this object is achieved in that the plastic body is designed to be floatable and has at least one cavity enclosed on all sides for generating the required buoyancy.
The invention makes it possible to lie comfortably and completely relaxed on the floating lounger or the floating deck chair, which demonstrably calms the nerves while utilizing the rocking effect. In particular, such floating couches or -Liegest U can cave in private swimming pools, use of hotel beach or in the countryside for recreational purposes.
The plastic body preferably consists of two one-piece half-shells which are tightly connected to one another and form a continuous cavity between them. Such a plastic body can be produced easily and without problems, the cavity being created automatically by connecting the half-shells to one another.
The hollow space can have a bulge under the back area and under the foot area in order to distribute the buoyancy forces evenly over the body resting on the bed.
For safety reasons and to increase the rigidity of the couch or deck chair, the cavity can be filled with floatable material. Foaming material is particularly suitable for this, which can easily be filled into the cavities.
The upper side of the floating body, which serves as a support surface for the human body, preferably has a recess adapted to the human body, so that very comfortable and relaxed lying is possible. In addition, wider recesses for the buttocks and head can be provided in the top, so that the lounger or deck chair can also be used by people of different sizes.
Shaped armrests are provided on the side edges, which can serve for the comfortable support of the arms, but at the same time, if the side edges are pulled down like a skid, to stabilize the swimming position.
In addition, recesses and / or storage or storage surfaces can be provided in the tops of the armrests for receiving objects, such as drinking vessels, sunscreen cans and the like.
At the front and rear ends of the plastic body, handles are expediently designed, which are provided for transport or can also be used for floating people to hold onto them.
So that you can move around with the lounger or deck chair, for example, to maintain a sufficient distance from a densely populated beach to be able to support rudders are preferably provided on the sides. The support brackets can be designed as push-through openings and serve to hold rudder blades located vertically in the water, which fold together when moving against the direction of travel and open in the direction of travel.
- Fig. 1 Ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer schwimmfähigen Liege in perspektivischer Darstellung,
- Fig. 4 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie IV - IV aus Fig. 2.
- 1 shows an embodiment of a buoyant couch in a perspective view,
- 2 is a plan view of the bed of FIG. 1,
- Fig. 3 shows a section through the bed along the line III - III of Fig. 2 and
- 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV from FIG. 2.
According to the drawing, a buoyant bed consists of a rigid plastic body 1, which is composed of two one-piece half-
The lower half-shell is provided in the back area and in the foot area of the lounger with a
The upper half-
Arm supports 11 are formed in the lateral areas of the bed, which further improve lying comfort. The
In the tops of the
The
The
Furthermore, the plastic body 1 can be provided in its lateral areas, in particular in the area of the arm supports 11, with brackets for rudders, not shown in the drawing. These brackets can, for example, be continuous from top to bottom Openings should be formed, through which vertical oars reach, the blades of which collapse when moving against the direction of travel, but open in the direction of travel.
Further embodiments of the plastic body 1, which are still within the scope of the invention, are possible. For example, the plastic body 1 can be made in one piece instead of the two half-shells. Hollow body blowing, also called extrusion blowing, is particularly suitable as the production method. On a blow molding machine, an extruder produces a mostly tubular preform which, while still hot, is enclosed by a blow molding tool and expanded by compressed air, so that it takes on the inner contour of the blowing tool and solidifies through contact with the cold wall of the blowing tool. Thermoplastic is particularly suitable as a material for this.
