Es ist - gemäß der DE-C-622 769 - eine Poliervorrichtung mit einem Polierballengehäuse bekannt, das dem Abdruck einer Handinnenfläche entsprechend ausgebildet ist. Im Endbereich von Mittel- und Zeigefinger sind zwei Hebeln zur Bedienung der Poliervorrichtung angeordnet. Zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger ist ein länglich gestalteter Vorsprung vorgesehen. Mit dieser Erfindung hat man sich zwar das Ziel gesetzt, eine Verkrampfung der Finger zu vermeiden, dies ist jedoch nur unter der Idealvoraussetzung erreichbar, daß die Fingergröße des Benützers exakt den im Gehäuse vorgegebenen Längenabschnitten entspricht. Trifft diese eher als besonderen Zufall zu bezeichnende Voraussetzung nicht zu, dann erreicht man mit einem derartigen Handgriff genau das Gegenteil, die Abwinkelungen zwischen den einzelnen Fingerabschnitten drücken auf ein Fingerglied, Blasenbildungen sind die unmittelbare Folge.
