- Known service machines such as ticket machines, consist of an arithmetic and control unit and functional modules, such as a printing unit, keyboard and others. Due to the high degree of coupling between the computer and control unit and the modules, a high amount of wiring between the modules is required. In addition, the modules work with different supply voltages. The task is therefore to create service machines with modular functional modules that can also function autonomously and that have uniform data interfaces and a uniform power supply. The object is achieved according to the invention by the measures specified in the claims.
