Hand-lamp of the kind comprising a socket (11) accommodated in a handle (10) comprising a relatively rigid sleeve (13) inside a relatively flexible external casing (14) and a protection cage (12) with a closed collar (15) fitted onto the handle, characterised in that an annular groove (18) provided in the external wall of the casing (14) is fitted inside the collar (15) of smaller diameter prior to locking by means of force-fitting of the sleeve (13) which is frusto-conical in shape inside the flexible casing (14) of complementary conici- ty, thus ensuring both that the handle (10) is rigid and that the flexible casing (14) is fixed in a non- detachable manner with the protection cage (12), while the socket (11) is mounted in a detachable manner on a front bearing surface (33) provided for this purpose at the end of the said sleeve.
2. Hand-lamp according to Claim 1, characterised in that the casing (14) has internally, at right angles to the annular groove (18), a series of radial ribs (27) designed to be crushed around the sleeve (13) when the latter is force-fitted.
3. Hand-lamp according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in thatthe said front bearing surface has a flange (33) supported by a hollow pillar (32) as well as a series of radial support ribs (35) combined with at least one member (34) for receiving an axial screw for fixing the socket.
4. Hand-lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the flexible casing (14) has at the front of the annular groove (18) a tapered end zone (17) designed to surround the socket (11).
5. Hand-lamp according to Claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the flexible casing (14) widens out as it extends forwardly of the annular groove (18) and ends in a truncated cone (46) for receiving a glass casing (45).
6. Hand-lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a switch (35) is incorporated inside an opening (22) of the tapered part of the sleeve (13) opposite a thin zone (21) of the flexible casing (14).
