Indem die Bedienungsarmaturen im Installationsbaustein senkrecht übereinanderliegen, kann man sich allein entsprechend der senkrechten Fliesenfuge bzw. Diese Installationen umfassen zwei Trinkwasserzuleitungen 2, 3, für Kaltwasser und Warmwasser, und auf der Duschwannenseite einen Thermostat 4, ein Unterputzventil 5 für die Kopfbrause, einen Wasseranschluß 6 für die Kopfbrause, ein Unterputzventil 7 für die Handbrause und einen Wasseranschluß 8 für die Handbrause, sowie auf der Badewannenseite zwei Badewannenanschlüsse 9, 10, die unmittelbar, d. h. ohne wesentliche tote Stichleitungen auf den Trinkwasserzuleitungen 2, 3 hängen. Der Thermostat 4, die Ventile 5, 7 und die Wasseranschlüsse 6, 8 liegen mittig im Installationsbaustein senkrecht übereinander. Zur Vermeidung wesentlicher toter Stichleitungen bei den Badewannenanschlüssen 9, 10 liegen die Trinkwasserzuleitungen 2, 3 näher zur Badewannenseite hin, und zwar in einem Abstand von der badewannenseitigen Bausteinoberfläche entsprechend der Gewindetiefe der Badewannenanschlußbuchsen und der Höhe der in sie einschraubbaren Verschlußstopfen. Die Vermeidung toter Stichleitungen bei nichtbenutzten, d. h. verschlossenen Badewannenanschlüssen 9, 10 hat neben gesundheitlichen Aspekten den Grund, die Korrosionsgefahr auszuschließen, die von stehendem Wasser in toten Stichleitungen ausgeht. Fließendes Wasser bautdagegen in den Rohrleitungen eine Schutzschicht auf.
