Für eine übergrosse Duschkabine könnte auf das obere Wandteil noch ein drittes Wandteil aufgesetzt sein oder für eine Sitzduschkabine könnte das obere der beiden Wandteile 2 entfallen. Die Duschentasse 1 sowie die Wandteile 2 sind durch horizontale Trennfugen 3 gegenseitig abgegrenzt. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Wandteile 2 in beliebiger Zahl (entsprechend der Höhe der Duschkabine) aufeinander zu stellen und spritzwasserdicht miteinander zu verbinden. Beim Zusammenbau der Duschkabine brauchen die Duschentasse 1 und die Wandteile 2 bloss aufeinander gesteckt zu werden, wobei die Rippe 9, 9' und die Nuten 10, 10' zusätzlich als Montagelehre wirken. Um nach dem Zusammenbau der Duschkabine die Duschentasse 1 mit den Wandteilen 2 fest aber lösbar zu verbinden ist in dem Vorsprung 8 der Duschentasse 1 ein Körper 15 mit einem Muttergewinde eingegossen. In diesen ist eine Gewindestange 16 schraubbar, die bis zum oberen Ende der Duschkabine reicht und in den Schlitzen 17 der Vorsprünge 8' der Wandteile 2 liegt. Durch eine auf die Gewindestange 16 aufschraubbare Mutter kann das oberste Wandteil 2 gegen das untere und dieses gegen die Duschentasse 1 verspannt werden. Die seitlichen Vorsprünge 7 bzw. 7' der Duschentasse 1 bzw. der Wandteile 2 sind mit Bohrungen 16 für eine nicht dargestellte Schraubenverbindung versehen.
