Abstract

Es wird eine vor allem für Holzabfälle bestimmte Ver­ brennungsvorrichtung beschrieben, die es ermöglicht, ohne aufwendige Regeleinrichtungen eine optimale und rück­ standsfreie Verbrennung zu gewährleisten. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein Brennstoffaufnahmeraum in Form eines Behälters mit zumindest im wesentlichen ganzflächig gelochter Wandung vorgesehen, dessen bodenseitiger Bereich verjüngt ausge­ bildet ist. Die Verbrennungsluft wird über einen den Behälter allseitig umschließenden und radial innen von der Behälter­ wandung begrenzten Spaltraum entgegen der Flammaus­ breitungsrichtung zugeführt. Die Abgase werden in einem den Spaltraum umgebenden Rauchgaszug zu einem Abzug geführt, und die Einrichtung zum Zünden des Brennstoffvor­ rats ist im Bereich des verjüngt ausgebildeten unteren Behälterendes angeordnet.
