Description

The invention relates to a roller shutter with a curtain made of horizontal slats.

European patent application 80104 012.2, which is published as document EP-A-23974, but falls under Art. 54 (3) EPC, describes a roller shutter with a curtain made of horizontal slats, which are suspended from their front ends by means of horizontal pins on traction elements are, are guided in vertical lateral guide rails between an upper and lower end position and can be pivoted about the pin from a predetermined upper lamella. The swiveling slats are connected to each other by means of turning elements which are offset in the longitudinal direction of the slats against the pulling elements. Control jaws are fitted in the guide rails, which can be engaged with turning pins on the top of the top swiveling slat and which either swivel the swiveling slats into a blind position or swing them back into the roller shutter position. The turning elements and the pulling elements run in the vertical guide rails and do not impair the free view through the swung-out slats. Since the pulling elements and the turning elements are offset from one another, when pulling the curtain onto the winding drum, the pulling elements are wound up next to the turning elements. As a result, two windings are formed on the winding drum, a winding of traction elements, including the lateral pins on which the traction elements are articulated. On the front pins of the pivotable slats there is an angle lever, which has a first leg parallel to the front wall of the slat and a second leg parallel to the lateral pin, the turning members holding the second leg in an articulated manner. The turning elements and the second legs of the angle levers form the second winding on the winding drum.

It has been shown that a trouble-free functioning of the roller shutter according to EP-A-23974 is only possible if the slats contact the winding drum during winding onto the winding drum and not partially due to undesirable stresses in the pulling and / or turning elements protrude from the winding drum.

The object of the invention is therefore to improve the roller shutter according to EP-A-23974 in such a way that trouble-free and always reliable winding and unwinding of the roller shutter curtain on the winding drum is possible.

This object is achieved by the features of the main claim.

The end-side angle levers lie within the projection of the circumferential contour of the slats or have a shape that is flush with the circumferential contour of the slats. The horizontal pin attached to the slats, on which the slats are suspended in bearing bushes of the pulling element, and the second leg of the angle lever, on which the slats are pivotally mounted in bearing bushes of the turning elements, have the same distance from the support plane in which the supports the lamella in question when winding it onto the winding drum against the lamellae below. If the lamellae are wound onto the winding drum, the free ends of the pins and the second legs lie approximately on the same spiral, and the lamellae likewise essentially lie in the winding spiral. The undesired positioning of the slats on the winding drum is reliably prevented.

If, on the other hand, the second leg of the bell crank would have a significantly greater distance from the support plane than the pins for the traction elements, undesired torques act on the individual lamellae wound on the winding drum, which lead to the lamellae "erecting". d. H. that the lower edge of the slat lifts off the slat winding, because the turning elements - with the same length as the pulling elements - are positively wound on a larger winding spiral. If, on the other hand, the second leg of the angle lever, to which the turning elements are attached, has a smaller distance from the abovementioned support plane than the pins for fastening the pulling elements, the pulling elements are guided in a larger spiral on the winding drum than the turning elements. The turning organs then pull the lower edge of the slats against the slat winding with great force, so that the upper edge of the slats can lift off and raise from the slat winding.

Preferably, the first leg of the angle lever perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slats has a shape approximately corresponding to the slat cross section. The angle lever is then supported in the same support plane as the slats when the slats are wound onto the winding drum. It is then prevented that any residual tensile forces present in the traction elements and turning elements transmit a torsional moment to the slats via the angle lever and thereby deform them.

The pin is preferably horizontally extended beyond the angle and is supported with its free end in a bearing bush of the pulling element. The bearing bushes of the pulling element have the same distance from each other as the corresponding bearing bushes of the turning elements. The turning elements are preferably further out than the pulling elements. The vertical guide rails usually have an inward side wall between the end wall of the lamella and the angle lift, which covers the angle levers and ends a predetermined gap width in front of the rear wall of the guide rail. In the gap between this tenwand and the rear wall, a preferably thickened region of the pin is guided.

The slats preferably have an open hollow profile on both end faces. The pins and the angle levers are preferably attached to end caps which form the end wall of the slats and can be anchored in the hollow profile. This embodiment has the advantage of simple and quick installation of different curtain widths. The end cap, including the covering end wall for the lamella and the pin section between the end wall and the angle lever and the angle lever, are preferably made of plastic material. The free end of the pin and the second leg of the angle lever preferably consist of a metal pin of the same diameter, which are pressed into the plastic molding.

The end caps 80 of the slats 4 have an end wall 9, which covers the hollow profile of the slats 4, and, approximately as an extension of the upper horizontal edge of the slat, a pin 16 which has an intermediate section 16 'and a free end section 16 ". At the intermediate section 16' the pin is followed - for example in one piece - by an angle lever 24, 25, the first leg 24 of which runs parallel to the end wall 9 of the lamella 4 at a distance from the intermediate section 16 'of the pin 16, and whose second leg 25 is at a predetermined distance from the pin 16 - preferably in the vicinity of the lower horizontal edge of the lamella 4 - vented perpendicular to the first leg 24 and parallel to the pin 16 in the longitudinal direction of the lamella. The second leg 25 merges into a pin at its free end, the free end portion 16 "of the pin 16 is also designed as a pin, the diameter of which corresponds to the end pin of the second leg 25.

The end sections 16 ″ of the pins 16 are mounted in the bearing bushes 22 of the pulling elements 20. The end section 25 ″ of the second leg 25 of the angle lever 24, 25 is pivotably mounted in the bearing bushes 30 of the turning members 28. On the angle lever 24, 25 of the uppermost pivotable lamella 4 there is a turning pin which is controlled by control jaws 40 within the lateral guide rails. Is z. B. retarded or stopped the downward movement of the turning pin during a downward movement of the curtain by the control jaws, the pivoting slats are thereby pivoted via the turning elements 28 into their blind position. If the turning pin is released from this blind position, the swiveling slats - under their own weight - return to the roller shutter position.

Fig. 4).2 shows a cross section through a lateral guide rail 50 with a view of the guide members as well as a pulling member 20 and a turning member 28. The guide rail 50 has an approximately rectangular profile, one side wall adjacent to the end wall 9 of the lamella 4 having a gap 52 with the rear wall 54 of the guide rail forms. The intermediate section 16 ′ is guided in this gap 52 of the guide rail 50, the angle lever 24, 25 lies within the guide rail 50. The end section 16 ″ of the pin 16 is mounted in the bearing bushes 22 of the pulling element 20, the end section 25 ″ of the second leg 25 the angle lever 24, 25 is correspondingly mounted in a corresponding bearing bush 30 on the turning element 28. The intermediate section 25 'of the second leg 25 forms the turning pin in the uppermost pivotable lamella, which runs against a control jaw 40 (only shown schematically). In the longitudinal direction of the slats, the pulling element 20 is sufficiently spaced from the turning element 28 so that the pulling element 20 and the turning element 28 form two sufficiently spaced winding spirals when they are wound onto the winding drum 90 (cf. FIG. 4).

The end section 16 ″ of the pin 16 and the first leg 24 and the second leg 25 of the angle lever are shown into an end section 25 ", which has the same diameter as the end section 16" of the pin 16. The first leg 24 of the angle lever has a shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slats, which largely coincides with the slat cross section, so that the first leg 24 runs within or in alignment with the projection of the cross-sectional contour of the lamella 4. The surface of the slat 4, which lies inside when the curtain is suspended or wound up, touches an “inner support plane”. In the slat cross section shown, the contact plane is touched on the inner lower horizontal edge 5 and on a further inner horizontal edge 6 between the lower horizontal edge 5 and the upper horizontal edge 7.

Fig. 4.The second leg 25 of the angle lever 24, 25, but in particular the end section 25 "of the second leg 25 and the end section 16" of the pin 16 have the same distance from the support plane spanned by the edges 5 and 6. A plane through the center points of the end sections 16 "and 25" thus runs parallel to the support plane. This feature ensures that the end sections 16 "for the pulling members and the end sections 25" for the turning members lie on approximately the same winding spiral when the curtain is wound on the winding drum 90, cf. Fig. 4.

It is thereby ensured that both the turning members and the pulling members are equally relieved when they are wound onto the winding drum 90, that is to say that neither tensile forces remain in the pulling members 20 nor in the turning members 28, which force the slats on the winding drum from the relieving load Push out the position in which the slats are when they rest on the specified contact edges 5, 6.
