Abstract
Pour relier plusieurs imprimes continus superposés, on a prévu, en face de chaque marge perforée des imprimés, de fixer des points obtenus à partir d'un ruban continu (7) de largeur égale à celle des points, en utilisant deux têtes cylindriques (1-2) opposées, tournant verticalement et symétriquement par rapport aux imprimés (3) avec un mouvement en synchronisme aussi bien entre elles qu'avec celui des galets (4) d'entraînement des imprimés, et en utilisant un levier (30) fixe-ruban et un levier (36) déroule-ruban. On connait la relieuse à points de ruban collé pour imprimés en liasse continus qui prévoit l' application des points par l'intermédiaire d'une tête à mouvement vertical alternatif, dérivant de moyens rotatifs employés pour l'avancement horizontal des imprimés en liasse continus et obtenant les points d'un ruban continu dont la largeur est égale à la longueur des points. L'invention, conformément aux revendications, résoud le problème de l'application, continue, le long de chaque bord perforé des imprimés en liasse, de points équidistants de ruban collé, au moyen de deux têtes cylindriques superposées et pivotant verticalement de façon à entraîner, fixer et couper une épaisseur de ruban de la longueur d'un point, l'obtenant à partir d'un ruban collé continu dont la largeur est égale à celle des points, avec des moyens pour l'alimentation du ruban colle, étendu et situé au-dessus du bord perforé des imprimés en liasse et avec des moyens servant à plier les ppints contre la page inférieure des imprimés en liasse. Les avantages obtenus grâce à cette invention consistent essnntiellement dans le fait que l'on utilise un ruban collé dont la largeur est égale à celle des points; que chaque point passe dans un trou des imprimés en liasse et que l'extrémité est plié de façon à ce que les imprimés soient étroitement reliés; que le ruban de reliure soit constamment efficace et uniforme; que la vitesse de reliure soit très rapide et la production très élevée. L'invention est expliquée ci-dessous plus en détails à l'aide des dessins n'illustrant qu'une forme de réalisation et où, la Fig. 1 représente la vue latérale, en partie en coupe, d'une relieuse rotative conforme à l'invention; la Fig. 2 représente la coupe AA de la Fig. 1. Une relieuse rotative à points de ruban collé pour imprimés en liasse continus de tabulatrices, conforme à l'invention, est essentiellement formée par:
- A) Une première tête (1) en forme de couronne circulaire, fixée sur un arbre (11) horizontal, perpendiculaire au bord perforé des imprimés (3), située au-dessus et très près du plan horizontal de défilement des imprimés (3), tournant dans le même sens que celui des imprimés (3) et à la même vitesse périphérique. Cette première tête (t) est munie de:
- - un presseur (5) radial, fixe, dont l'extrémité libre (51) cylindrique et concentrique à la tête (1) et dépassant légèrement cette dernière, destiné à fixer le point de ruban collé, à la page supérieure de l'imprimé (3);
- - un poinçon (6) radial, fixé derrière le presseur (5), dont l'extrémité (61) prismatique, qui dépasse légèrement du presseur (5), se termine par un angle non véritablemnnt coupant, rectiligne, dont la longueur est égale à la largeur du ruban . collé (7), situé transversalement à celui-ci, destiné à couper le ruban collé en correspondance de la fin du point, de façon à en rendre plus aisé le détachement d'un eoup sec;
- - une première came (8) fixée sur une des bases (12) de la conronne (1), destinée à commander le soulèvement d'un levier fixe-ruban pendant l'avancement du ruban collé (7) lors de la phase de formation du point;
- - une deuxième came (9) fixée sur la même base (12) de la tête (1), destinée à commander le soulèvement d'un levier déroule-ruban collé pendant la phase précédent celle de formation du point.
- B) Une deuxième tête (2) à couronne circulaire, égale et en face de la première (1), fixée sur un arbre (21) parallèle à celui (11) de la couronne (1), située au-dessous et très près du plan des imprimés (3), tournant dans le même sens que celui de l'avancement de ceux-ci et à la même vitesse périphérique, outre être en synchronisme . avec le première tête (1°), les deux têtes (1-2) . tournant en synchronisme avec les galets dentés (4) entraînant les imprimés (3). Cette deuxième tête est munie de:
- - un presseur (10), radial, coulissant, à ressort antagoniste (20), dont l'extrémité libre, cylindrique, et concentrique à la couronne (2) et dépassant légèrement cette dernière, destiné à maintenir l'imprimé (3) pendant que l'élément presseur (5) de la tête (1) auquel il est opposé pourvoit à fixer le point de reliure;
- - une encoche (22) périphérique, longitudinale, derrière le presseur (10) et en face du poinçon (6) de la couronne (1), destinée à coopérer à l'incision de la part du poinçon (6) du ruban collé (7).
- C) Un premier levier (20) coudé, articulé sur un pivot (31) fixé à une plaque (39) et parallèle aux arbres (11) et (21), muni d'un support en caoutchouc (33) frôlant le ruban collé (7) dans la zone située au-dessus d'un seuil (34) horizontal et fixe, sur lequel passe le ruban colle (7), et d'une tige à vis (35) de réglage de la came (8) outre être asservie à un ressort de traction (32), destiné à arrêter le ruban collé lorsque la tige à vis (35) n'est pas interceptée par la came (8) et dans le cas contraire, destiné à relâcher le ruban (7) lorsque la tige (35) est soulevée par la came (8).

- B) A second head (2) with a circular crown, equal and opposite the first (1), fixed on a shaft (21) parallel to that (11) of the crown ( 1 ), located below and very close to the plane of the prints (3), rotating in the same direction as that of the advancement of these and to the same peripheral speed, besides being in synchronism. with the first head (1 °), the two heads (1-2). rotating in synchronism with the toothed rollers (4) driving the prints (3).
