Ein derartiges Triebfahrzeug ist aus der DE-OS 26 50 035 bekannt. Die pendelnde Aufhängung des querliegenden Fahrmotors besteht bei dieser bekannten Anordnung aus drei starren Lenkern, die auf beiden Seiten des Fahrmotors angeordnet sind, und deren einer Gelenkpunkt am Wagenkasten und deren anderer Gelenkpunkt an einem unterhalb der Mittellinie der Treibachse liegenden Auge des Fahrmotorgehäuses angeordnet ist. Die Gelenkpunkte sind als Gummimetallverbundgelenke ausgebildet, damit Verschleiß vermieden wird. Da die möglichen Federwege zwischen der Treibachse und dem Wagenkasten sehr groß sind, insbesondere weil sich der Wagenkasten in Abhängigkeit vom Wagengewicht, d. h. unter Umständen von der Zahl der Fahrgäste, verlagert, ist bei dem bekannten Triebfahrzeug der Durchmesser der wischen dem Ritzel des Fahrmotors und der Treibachse angeordneten, die Treibachse mit Spiel umgebende Kardanhohlwelle verhältnismäßig groß, um sämtliche Federwege bei allen Geschwindigkeiten aufzunehmen. Dies hat aber den Nachteil, daß der Abstand zwischen Treibachse und Fahrmotor, d. h. die Motorzentrale, entsprechend groß wird, so daß infolge des dadurch erforderlichen ebenfalls entsprechend großen Großrades Schwierigkeiten hinsichtlich der Bodenfreiheit auftreten.Such a locomotive is known from DE-OS 26 50 035. Kleine Federwege werden dann von dem Kardanantrieb aufgenommen, während größere Federwege von der Niveauregelung ausgeglichen werden. Der Durchmesser der Kardanhohlwelle kann dadurch wesentlich kleiner gehalten werden, so daß genügend Platz zur Unterbringung eines Fahrmotors großer Leistung für hohe Fahrgeschwindigkeiten bei kleiner Motorzentrale verbleibt.To solve this problem, a level control is housed in the handlebars of a traction vehicle of the type described in the invention. Zur Ersparnis von Aufhängeelementen empfiehlt.es sich, bei einem Drehgestell mit zwei darin untergebrachten Einzelachsantrieben mit Quermotor die Fahrmotoren zweier benachbarter Treibachsen in an sich bekannter Weise über einen Zwischenträger starr miteinander zu verbinden und dann auf jeder Seite dieses Zwischenträgers einen Lenker mit Niveauregelung angreifen zu lassen. Darüber hinaus werden durch die Verbindung über den Zwischenträger die beiden Einzelmassen der Fahrmotoren zu einer Gesamtmasse vereinigt.
