Abstract
В данном документе предусматриваются композиции и способы получения растительных клеток с модифицированными нуклеотидными последовательностями Ht1, модифицированными последовательностями NLB18 или как теми, так и другими. Способы предусматривают введение в геном маиса двухнитевых разрывов в эндогенной последовательности, кодирующей Ht1, эндогенной последовательности, кодирующей NLB18, или как в той, так и в другой, для модификации геномной последовательности с целью повышения устойчивости к северной пятнистости листьев растения, полученного из растительной клетки. Дополнительно предусматриваются способы, посредством которых вводят связанные с устойчивостью аллели Ht1 и/или NLB18 в специфические сайты в геноме. Также охватываются растения, полученные из растительных клеток, и семена, полученные от растений. Также предусматриваются направляющие полинуклеотиды для применения системы CRISPR-Cas в индуцировании двухнитевых разрывов.
