Abstract

Огнестойкая полимерная композиция, включающая: (A) сополимер этилена, включающий звенья полярного сомономера, (B) соединение, содержащее силиконовую группу, (C) материал неорганического наполнителя и (D) гомополимер этилена или сополимер этилена с одним или несколькими звеньями другого α-олефинового сомономера, где полимерная композиция имеет энтальпию плавления по меньшей мере 78 Дж/г, изделие, в частности провод или кабель, включающее указанную композицию, и применение гомо- или сополимера этилена в огнестойком слое провода или кабеля для улучшения механических свойств провода или кабеля.
