Claims (18)
1. Belægning på en medicinsk anordning, der omfatter et hydrofilt lag, der omfatter copolymerer, der er kovalent 5 tværbundet ved hjælp af fotoinitiering af diarylketoner, der rager ud på copolymererne, hvor copolymererne før fotoinitiering polymeriseres fra et antal monomerer, der omfatter N-vinylpyrrolidinon og diarylketonvinylmonomer, der har en vægtgennemsnitlig 10 molekylvægt på mere end ca. 100.000, mindst ca. 60 vægt-% N-vinylpyrrolidinon, ikke mere end ca. 5 vægt-% diarylketonmonomer, der tilvejebringer de fremspringende diarylketoner, og en vilkårlig fordeling af diarylketonerne.
2. Belægning ifølge krav 1, hvor diarylketonvinylmonomeren omfatter en methacrylatgruppe eller en acrylatgruppe.
3. Belægning ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor diarylketonen i copolymererne er valgt fra gruppen, der består af 20 benzophenon, 2-hydroxybenzophenon, 3-hydroxybenzophenon, 4- hydroxybenzophenon, 2,2'-dihydroxybenzophenon, 2,4- dihydroxybenzophenon, 3,4-dihydroxybenzophenon, 4,4'- dihydroxybenzophenon, 2,3,4-trihydroxybenzophenon, 2,4,4'-trihydroxybenzophenon, 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenon, 2-25 aminobenzophenon, 3-aminobenzophenon, 4-aminobenzophenon, 3,4- diaminobenzophenon, 4,4'-diaminobenzophenon, 4- (brommethyl)benzophenon, 2-benzoylbenzoesyre, 3- benzoylbenzoesyre, 4-benzoylbenzoesyre, 4- benzoylbenzoylchlorid, 4-isocyanatobenzophenon, benzophenon-30 3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxyldianhydrid, 3-brom-2',5-dichlor-2- hydroxybenzophenon, 2-hydroxy-2',3,5-trichlorbenzophenon, 3-brom-5-chlor-2-hydroxybenzophenon, 5-brom-2'-chlor-2- hydroxybenzophenon, 4'-chlor-5-fluor-2-hydroxybenzophenon, 2', 5-dichlor-2-hydroxybenzophenon, 5-brom-2- 35 hydroxybenzophenon, 4-fluor-4'-hydroxybenzophenon, 2-amino-4'- brombenzophenon, 2-amino-5-chlorbenzophenon, 4-amino-3- nitrobenzophenon, 2'-chlor-2-hydroxy-4-methylbenzophenon, 2'-chlor-2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzophenon, 2-hydroxy-5- methylbenzophenon, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenon, 2-amino-4-methylbenzophenon, benzoin, 4,4'-dimethoxybenzoin, 4- chlorbenzoin, benzyl-4-hydroxyphenylketon, benzyl-2,4- dihydroxyphenylketon, 2-phenyl-2 ', 4 ', 6 ' -trihydroxyacetophenon. 5
4. Belægning ifølge krav 1, hvor antallet af monomerer yderligere omfatter en eller flere monomerer valgt fra gruppen, der består af poly(ethylenglycol)methacrylat, poly(propylenglycol)methacrylat, 10 poly(ethylenglycol) methylethermethacrylat, poly(ethylenglycol)ethylethermethacrylat, 3- trimethoxysilylpropylmethacrylat, vinylsulfonsyre(natriumsalt), ammoniumsulfatoethylmethacrylat, 2-acryloylamido-2-methylpropansulfonsyremonomer, [2- 15 (methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl (3-sulfopropyl)ammoniumhydroxid (MEDSAH), [3-(methacryloylamino)propyl]dimethyl-(3- sulfopropyl)ammoniumhydroxid (MPDSAH), 2- methacryloyloxyethylphopshorylcholin (MPC), acrylsyre(natriumsalt), dimethylaminoethylmethacrylat, 2- 20 hydroxyethylmethacrylat (HEMA), polyhexanidmethacrylat og chlorhexidinmethacrylat.
5. Belægning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor antallet af monomerer yderligere omfatter en eller flere 25 monomerer valgt blandt methylmethacrylat, ethylmethacrylat, n- alkylmethacrylater, methylethylacrylat, ethylacrylat, n-alkylacrylater og hydroxyethylmethacrylat.
6. Belægning ifølge krav 5, hvor den ene eller de flere 30 valgte monomerer indbefatter en n-alkylacrylat eller en n- alkylmethacrylat, hvor n-alkylgruppen er en propyl-, butyl-, pentyl- eller hexylgruppe.
7. Belægning ifølge krav 1, hvor antallet af monomerer 35 yderligere omfatter en monomer, der omfatter en polyethylenglycol-fremspringende gruppe, en fremspringende gruppe, der terminerer i en sulfonatgruppe, en silyl- fremspringende gruppe, en zwitterionisk gruppe eller en hydroxylgruppe.
8. Belægning ifølge krav 1, hvor copolymererne før fotoinitiering i det væsentlige består af 5 polymeriseringsproduktet af N-vinylpyrrolidinon og diarylketonvinylmonomeren.
9. Belægning ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den medicinske anordning er valgt fra gruppen, der består 10 af en stent, en guidewire, en pacemakerledning, et kateter, en medicinsk ballon, en nasogastrisk ernæringssonde, en PICC-line og en endotrakeal tube.
10. Isoleret sæt af vandopløselige polymerer, der omfatter 15 copolymerer, der er polymeriseret fra monomerer, der omfatter en N-vinylpyrrolidinonmonomer og en diarylketonvinylmonomer, hvor copolymererne har en vægtgennemsnitlig molekylvægt på mere end ca. 100.000, mindst ca. 60 vægt-% N- vinylpyrrolidinon, ikke mere end ca. 5 vægt-% 20 diarylketonmonomer og en vilkårlig fordeling af diarylketon i copolymeren.
11. Isoleret sæt af vandopløselige polymerer ifølge krav 10, der kan tværbindes ved eksponering for en kilde af ultraviolet 25 lys til aktivering af diarylketonen til frembringelse af kovalente tværbindinger.
12. Fremgangsmåde til belægning af en medicinsk anordning, der omfatter 30 belægning af en medicinsk anordning med copolymerer, der har en vægtgennemsnitlig molekylvægt på mere end ca. 100.000, mindst ca. 60 vægt-% N-vinylpyrrolidinon, diarylketonvinylmonomer, der er til stede ved ikke mere end ca. 5 vægt-%, og en vilkårlig fordeling af diarylketon i 35 copolymeren, og eksponering af den belagte anordning for en kilde af ultraviolet lys til aktivering af diarylketonen til opnåelse af tværbindinger til frembringelse af et kovalent tværbundet lag på en overflade af den medicinske anordning.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvor copolymererne før fotoinitieringen i det væsentlige består af polymeriseringsproduktet af N-vinylpyrrolidinon og 5 diarylketonvinylmonomeren.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12 eller krav 13, hvor den medicinske anordning er valgt fra gruppen, der består af en stent, en guidewire, en pacemakerledning, et kateter, en 10 nasogastrisk ernæringssonde, en PICC-line og en endotrakeal tube.
15. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvor den medicinske anordning er valgt fra gruppen, der består af en stent, en 15 guidewire, en pacemakerledning, et kateter, en nasogastrisk ernæringssonde, en PICC-line og en endotrakeal tube, og eksponeres for copolymererne ved hjælp af en fremgangsmåde valgt fra gruppen, der består af sprøjtning, dypning og maling, og copolymererne eksponeres til den medicinske 20 anordning i et opløsningsmiddel valgt fra gruppen, der består af methanol, ethanol, 2-propanol, vand, tetrahydrofuran og blandinger deraf, hvilken fremgangsmåde yderligere omfatter inddampning af opløsningsmidlet og tørring af laget ved en temperatur i intervallet fra ca. 15 til ca. 80 °C. 25
16. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en copolymer, der omfatter frembringelse af en opløsning af N-vinylpyrrolidinon i vandig opløsning, 30 tilsætning til opløsningen af en frit radikal-polymeriseringsinitiator opløst i N-vinylpyrrolidinon, tilsætning til opløsningen af en diarylketonvinylmonomer opløst i N-vinylpyrrolidinon og polymerisering af monomererne til frembringelse af en vilkårlig copolymer af N-35 vinylpyrrolidinon og diarylketonvinylmonomeren.
17. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 16, hvor monomeren omfatter en acrylatgruppe eller en methacrylatgruppe.
18. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 16 eller krav 17, hvor diarylketonvinylmonomeren omfatter 4-benzoylphenylmethacrylat.
