Claims (6)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling afen modificeret promotor, hvilken fremgangsmåde består i et trin med deletering af én eller begge af SEQ ID NO: 1 eller SEQ ID NO: 2 i 5 nucleotidsekvensen for promotoren afledes fra en bakterie hørende til slægten Bacillus, hvor promotoren afledt fra en bakterie hørende til slægten Bacillus er: (a) en promotor for et alkalisk cellulasegen fra Bacillus sp. KSM-64-stammen (FERM BP-2886) bestående af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleo- 10 tidnumrene 1 til 609 i SEQ ID NO: 3; (b) en promotor for et alkalisk cellulasegen fra Bacillus sp. KSM-S237-stammen (FERM BP-7875) bestående af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleo-tidnumrene 1 til 572 i SEQ ID NO: 4; eller (c) en promotor, som indeholder en nucleotidsekvens, som har en sekvens- 15 identitet på 90% eller mere i forhold til promotoren for det alkaliske cellulasegen bestående af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 609 i SEQ ID NO: 3, eller i forhold til promotoren for det alkaliske cellulasegen, som består af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 572 i SEQ ID NO: 4, og som har en cre-lignende sekvens repræsenteret ved SEQ ID 20 NO: 1 og/ellerSEQ ID NO: 2.
2. Modificeret promotor afledt fra en bakterie hørende til slægten Bacillus, hvor promotoren afledt fra bakterien hørende til slæften Bacillus er: 25 (a) en promotor for et alkalisk cellulasegen fra Bacillus sp. KSM-64-stammen (FERM BP-2886) bestående af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 609 i SEQ ID NO: 3 med en deletering af SEQ ID NO: 1 og/eller SEQ ID NO: 2; (b) en promotor for et alkalisk cellulasegen fra Bacillus sp. KSM-S237-stammen 30 (FERM BP-7875) bestående af en nucleotidsekvens repræsenterete ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 572 i SEQ ID NO: 4, med en deletering af SEQ ID NO: 1 og/eller SEQ ID NO: 2; eller (c) en promotor bestående af en nucleotidsekvens, som har en sekvensidentitet på 90% eller mere i forhold til promotoren for et alkalisk cellulasegen bestående af 35 en nucleotidsekvens repræsenteret ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 609 i SEQ ID NO: 3, eller i forhold til en promotor for det alkaliske cellulosegen bestående af nucleo-tidsekvensen repræsenteret ved nucleotidnumrene 1 til 572 i SEQ ID NO: 4 og som har en deletion af den cre-lignende sekvens repræsenteret ved SEQ ID NO: 1 og/eller SEQ ID NO: 2 5
3. Ekspressionsvektor omfattende en modificeret promotor ifølge krav 2.
4. Ekspressionsvektor ifølge krav 3, hvor den modificerede promotor er funktionsmæssigt forbundet med et gen opstrøms derfor, som koder for et genprodukt af 10 interesse.
