Description
In the case of high-frequency single-layer conductors made of alternating thin metal and insulating layers, the thickness of the individual metal layers must be selected to be smaller than the equivalent thickness of the conductive layer. Calculations also show that in order to achieve a small attenuation, the thickness of the insulating layer must be about half the thickness of the metal layer. Assuming, for example, a layer conductor with an inner diameter of 3 mm and an outer diameter of g mm and a thickness of 0.04 mm for a foil composed of a metal and insulating layer, this would result in about 75 foil layers. The production of such multi-layer conductors naturally presents manufacturing difficulties. It is the object of the invention to construct layer conductors in such a way that they can be produced in a simplified and cheaper way.
According to the invention, in high-frequency ski ladders the layers are folded back and forth from alternating thin metal and insulating layers.
One embodiment of the invention consists in folding a metal foil back and forth, which is provided with an insulating layer on both sides. In In this case, the metal foil and the insulating layers advantageously have approximately the same or approximately the same thickness, so that after folding there is an insulating layer thickness that is approximately twice the thickness of the metal foil.
Nach einer weiteren, besonders günstigen Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird eine IsolierfolieAccording to a further, particularly favorable embodiment of the invention is an insulating film
Eine Abart dieser Ausführung besteht darin, die Metallschichten beidseitig der Isolierfolie an der gleichen Stelle vorzusehen.on both sides with several longitudinal metal layers offset from one another in the plane of the film Mistake. In doing so, the mutual Distance between the mutually offset metal layers expediently made so large that the Insulating film in the area between the adjacent but on different sides of the insulating film lying metal layers can be folded without folding the metal layers. To this ίο In spite of the folding process, layer conductors are obtained in which the metal layers are unfolded, d. H. remain smooth and thus the electrically most favorable shape and position can be obtained. One A variant of this design consists in attaching the metal layers on both sides of the insulating film to the to be provided in the same place.
The invention is described below with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures explained in more detail.
In Fig. 1, 10 is a wide, smooth sheet of insulating material, on both sides the offset metal layers 11, 12, 11 ', 12', 11 ", 12" are upset. Between the adjacent metal layers 11 and 12 or 12 and 11 'etc. is leave a small gap 13 in order to fold the film web 10 at these points. From Fig. 1 goes also shows that the metal layers 11, 12, 11 ', 12 'etc. have an increasing width, so that after the folding made according to the 2 shows a layer conductor with a trapezoidal or approximately trapezoidal cross section arises. Such a flat layer conductor can, as FIG. 3 indicates, around a core 14 to form a Layer conductors can be formed with a circular cross-section. In such a layer conductor the unfolded metal layers run in smooth concentric planes so that a practically ideal layer conductor with a round cross-section results. The layer conductor thus formed is with a tether winding 15 and the waterproof one Cable sheath 16 surrounded.
Die Fig. 5 zeigt als Ausführungsbeispiel einen Schichtenleiter aus drei Teilschichtenleitern 19, 20 und 21.Deviating from FIG. 3, partial layer conductors with a semicircular cross-section can also be produced from a folded layer conductor initially produced in a flat form (. Such an embodiment is shown in FIG Partial layer conductors can also be produced with a cross-section in the shape of a sector of a circle.
Die aufeinanderfolgenden- Metallschichten 11, 12, 11', 12' usw. und die aufeinanderfolgenden Lücken 22, 22' usw. erhalten fortlaufend eine vergrößerte Breite, um entsprechend der Fig. 2 einen flachen Schichtenleiter mit trapezförmigem Querschnitt zu erhalten.6 and 7 show different from FIG. Ι two versions in which the on both Metal layers applied to the sides of the insulating material are in the same place. In According to Fig. 1, 10 are the wide, smooth insulating material web and 11, 12, ii ', 12', 11 '', 12 "etc. the metal layers, with the metal foils 11 and 12, 11 'and 12' etc. each at the are arranged in the same place. The existing between the metal layers applied on both sides Gaps 22, 22 'etc. are kept wider than the respective preceding metal layer, see above that the parts of the insulating material web 10 free of metal layers when folded between the can lay successive metal layers. The successive metal layers 11, 12, 11 ', 12' etc. and the successive gaps 22, 22 'etc. are continuously enlarged Width in order to form a flat layer conductor with a trapezoidal cross-section in accordance with FIG. 2 obtain.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, in accordance with FIG. 1, the metal layers have 11, 12, 11 ', 12' etc. one after the other increasing width in order to have a finer gradation of the metal layer widths compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 6 to achieve.
The metal and insulating layers can be folded, for example, by means of both sides of the foil webs arranged profile rolls or disks take place. Such a folding method is shown in FIG. 8 and 9 indicated. It is assumed here that, in accordance with FIG. 6, a sheet of insulating material 10 is to be folded with metal layers 11, 12, ii ', 12' etc. applied on both sides. In the indicated method, the profile disks 23, go are located above the insulating material web 10 23 'etc. and below the insulating sheet the profile disks 24, 24' etc., with the in the pulling direction the insulating material web successive profile disks from disk to disk are set lower or higher and also a reduced have mutual distance from each other. In this way arises after passing through a plurality of profile disks a film web with a zigzag cross-section according to FIG. 9. A film web thus formed in a zigzag shape can be formed into the desired tape-like shape without difficulty Layer conductors are folded up, the folded flat layer conductor to the Finally, it is expedient to pass it between pressure rollers and then onto a supply drum is wound up.
The application of the metal layers, the folding to form a flat layer conductor and, if necessary the shaping to the desired profile is also advantageously carried out in the same operation. If the metal layers are glued to the insulating material in the form of foils, then in the metal foils are cut in the same operation. A suitable manufacturing process is explained with reference to FIG. 10 for the production of a layer conductor according to FIG. 4. The layer conductors 25 and 26 running down from storage drums (not shown) with a trapezoidal cross-section run through the preforming devices 27 and 28 and thereon in general through the round shaping device 29. At the same time, the core runs into the round shaping device 29 14 with a, so that a multilayer conductor results which corresponds to the structure of FIG.
For example, profile nipples or profile rollers are used as shaping devices 27, 28 and 29.
wendet.
The tape winding 15 and the waterproof cable jacket 16 can also be applied in the same operation.
The partial layer conductors 25 and 26 with a trapezoidal cross-section required to produce a layer conductor according to FIG. 4 can be wound onto a common storage drum before they are profiled. In this case, the two layer conductors with a trapezoidal cross-section are advantageously wound on the storage drum lying next to one another in the manner indicated in FIG. 11. The two layer conductors 25 and 26 are then unwound from the storage drum in such a way that the narrow longitudinal surfaces face one another, so that the layer conductor 26 comes to rest under the layer conductor 25. In this position, the layer conductors are fed to the preforming devices 27 and 28 according to FIG. 10, for example.
The invention is not restricted to the specified possible embodiments. According to the folding method provided according to the invention, high-frequency layer conductors with a different cross-section, in particular with an oval-shaped and rectangular cross-section, e.g. B. square cross-section. The metal layers, for example the metal layers 11, 12 etc. in FIG. 1, can be applied to the insulating material web in any desired manner, for example in the form of foils by gluing them on. It is also possible to fold separate metal and insulating layers in the form of foils or wide strips. Furthermore, it can be expedient to subdivide a layer conductor into several layers which are produced separately according to the invention.
