Description
The invention relates to an impact crusher with a plate-shaped rotor mounted so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis and a housing surrounding the rotor with a wall forming an impact surface, against the inside of which material poured onto the rotor is thrown for the purpose of crushing.
Das bei diesen Prallbrechern über einen Einfülltrichter auf den Rotor gelangende Gut wird unter Fliehkrafteinwirkung mit großer Wucht gegen die Prallfläche geschleudert und beim Aufprall längs inneren Mikrorissen oderImpact crushers of the above type are known in which the wall of the housing, which forms the impact surface and is lined with so-called impact plates, is aligned parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor. In these impact crushers, the material that reaches the rotor via a hopper is thrown against the impact surface with great force under the influence of centrifugal force and, upon impact, is crushed along internal microcracks or

anderen Unregelmäßigkeiten in der Struktur folgenden Bruchlinien zerbrochen, um anschließend frei nach unten zu fallen, wo es von einem Förderband od.dgl. aufgenommen wird.other irregularities in the structure and then falls freely downwards, where it is picked up by a conveyor belt or similar.
Impact crushers are also known that have a similar structure, but in which the impact surface is not formed by impact plates arranged on the inside of a metal housing wall, but by the side of a belt of crushed material that surrounds the rotor and faces the rotor. In this case, an impact surface shape is automatically created, which leads to the material to be crushed following loop-shaped paths, in the areas of which collisions occur between parts of the material that are not yet crushed and those that have already been crushed by impact with the impact surface. The collisions and the continuous removal of the layer of material that forms the impact surface and consists of comparatively small parts of the material mean that the material emerging from the crusher contains a comparatively large proportion of relatively fine particles. A disadvantage of the crusher of this second embodiment is the fact that its operation requires greater power than the operation of the previously described crushers due to internal friction between colliding parts of the crushed material and that the dust development in the crushing chamber is particularly high.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the inside of the wall of the housing forming the impact surface is designed essentially in the manner of the shell of at least one truncated cone that widens downwards, that at least one insert is arranged below the rotor, the outside of which is also designed essentially in the manner of a truncated cone that widens downwards.

Kegelstumpfes ausgebildet ist und daß die Innenseite der Wand des Gehäuses und die Außenseite des Einsatzes zwei zwischen sich einen Ringspalt begrenzende Prallflächen für eine Mehrfachzerkleinerung des Gutes bilden.truncated cone and that the inside of the wall of the housing and the outside of the insert form two impact surfaces defining an annular gap between them for multiple comminution of the material.
The impact crusher according to the invention offers the advantage that it is very powerful despite its simple design and that the energy still present in the crushed material after impact with the first impact surface is used for further crushing processes and in this way a very favorable crushing result is achieved, whereby there are practically no collisions between crushed material particles with intersecting movement paths, which increase the energy requirement through internal friction and promote the formation of dust.
Figur 3).Truncated cones, the generatrix of which forms an angle α of 60' to 85' with respect to the longitudinal axis 15 of the shaft 6 (see Figure 3).
In order to be able to vary the distance between the inner side 13 of the wall 2 and the outer side 12 of the insert, the wall 2 is mounted on screw spindles via brackets 16 and screw sleeves 17. By initiating rotary movements in the screw spindles 18, the wall 2 can be moved relative to the cover 3. Figures 3 to 5 show three different positions of the wall 2 relative to the cover 3, with the annular gap 14 being smallest in Figure 3 and largest in Figure 5. In addition, Figures 3 to 5 indicate that the material receiving surfaces 8 of the rotor 7 can have different shapes. While Figure 4 shows a flat material receiving surface 8 as in Figure 1, Figure 3 shows a rotor 7 with a concave material receiving surface 19 and Figure 5 shows a rotor 7 with a convex material receiving surface 20.
Instead of working with an annular gap 14 of constant cross-section, an annular gap 21 with decreasing cross-section can also be used, as shown in Figure 6.
Figures 2 to 6 show that the material 22 to be broken up, after hitting the rotor 7, is initially thrown radially outwards at high speed against the slanted inner side 13 of the wall 2, onto which it hits at an angle of approximately 90' when viewed in the plane of the throw. Due to the inclination of the wall 2 to the longitudinal axis 15 of the shaft 6, the material 22 bounces off at an angle downwards, in order to then pass through the respective annular gap 14 or 21 on an essentially zigzag-shaped path 23 indicated in Figures 3 to 5. 21 reduzieren mit anderen Worten energieverzehrende Zusammenstöße zwischen vom Rotor 7 nach außen geschleuderte und von der Innenseite 13 der Wand 2 zurückprallendes Brechgut und unterdrücken auf diese Weise in starkem Maße durch "innere Reibung" beim Brechvorgang entstehende Verluste, wobei gleichzeitig infolge besserer Energieausnutzung eine intensivere Zerkleinerung des zu brechenden Gutes erreicht wird.21 reduce, in other words, energy-consuming collisions between crushed material thrown outwards by the rotor 7 and rebounding from the inner side 13 of the wall 2 and in this way suppress to a large extent losses caused by "internal friction" during the crushing process, while at the same time achieving a more intensive crushing of the material to be crushed as a result of better energy utilization.
In the preferred embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the outer wall 2 and the wall of the insert 11 have exactly the shape of truncated cones, which are produced by bending sheet metal strips corresponding to the shells of the truncated cones. Figure 7, on the other hand, shows a wall 2 which, like the part of the insert 11 which defines an annular gap 14 with it, consists of flat, trapezoidal segments 24 and 25, respectively, which are connected to one another by welding in the region of their long sides. In all cases, the opposing surfaces of the wall 2 and the insert 11 are covered with wear-resistant impact plates 26.
Figure 8 shows that with a solution according to Figure 2 it is possible to arrange impact plates 26 at an angle to the wall 2.
Durch die exzentrische Lagerung des Einsatzes 27 auf einer Buchse 28 wird anfallendes Überkorn des zerkleinerten Gutes nachträglichFinally, Figure 9 shows a schematic of an impact crusher, which is similar in its basic structure to the impact crusher according to Figures 1 and 2. For Figure 9, therefore, largely the same reference numerals were used as in Figure 1. Unlike in the first described embodiment, the crushing of the crushed material in the impact crusher according to Figure 9 takes place in two stages, so to speak, in that a further insert 27 is arranged below the insert 11. Rotary movements can be introduced into the insert 27, which are expediently carried out in the opposite direction to the rotary movement of the rotor 7. Due to the eccentric mounting of the insert 27 on a bushing 28, any oversize particles of the crushed material are subsequently
