Durch eine verschiebbare und veränderbare Feuerstelle kann zusätzlich nur der Grillrostteil oder der Muldenteil erhitzt werden, dabei wird je nach Glühzustand der Holzkohle die Belüftung des Holzkohlenrostes geschlossen bzw. geöffnet. Aus der Fig,5 geht die zweiteilige Variante des Öko-Grillrosts hervor, die aus einer Schale (15) und aus einem Rostelement (16) besteht- Die Schale (15) ist geformt oder als Gußstück ausgebildet und weist etwas tiefer liegender Grillmulde (30) auf. Der Grillrostteil weist Fettrinnen (5,6) auf die an den Oberkanten (17) Durchlüftungsausparungen (12) mit Unterbrechungen aufweisen.
