Es ist schon mehrfach vorgeschlagen worden, Paletten aus Wellkarton herzustellen. Ein solcher Vorschlag ist z.B. in der EP-A-283 799 enthalten. Allerdings haben sich solche Paletten bisher in der Praxis nicht bewährt, entweder weil sie zuwenig stabil sind oder, wie z.B. jene gemäss EP-A-283 799, nicht der Norm entsprechende Abmessungen haben.It has been suggested several times to make pallets from corrugated cardboard. Dabei entspricht die Länge des auf der Unterseite 5 aufgeleimten breitseitigen Lappens 11 mindestens der Länge der Füsse 2 und die Breite des längsseitigen Lappens 10 mindestens der Breite der Füsse 2. Mit demselben, wasserfesten Leim auf Wasserbasis, mit welchem die Zuschnitte 15, 16, 7 miteinander verleimt werden, wird auch die gesamte äussere Oberfläche der Platte 1 bestrichen. Dadurch wird eine wasserfeste Imprägnierung ohne Fremdmaterialien erreicht. Der äussere Hüllzuschnitt 62 aus einwelligem Wellkarton ist auf der Oberseite ganzflächig überlappt. Die Festkartonschichten 60, 61 erhöhen ebenfalls die Stossfestigkeit. Die Stirnenden des Hüllzuschnittes 62 werden beim Verleimen zweckmässig flachgequetscht, um die Wellen dieses Zuschnittes stirnseitig zu verschliessen. Der Querschnitt der Leiste 3 nach Fig. 9 ist trapezförmig.
