Dunstabzugshauben, die in einer Küche über einem frei im Raum oder an einer Wand stehenden Herd angeordnet sind, sind oft mit mindestens einer Griffstange versehen, die sich etwa in der Einlaßebene der Dunstabzugshaube in einem geringen Abstand von dieser in Richtung auf den Benutzer befindet.
