Description
The invention relates to a guide for the slide of a turret head on a freezer lathe, its tool mounting holes in the working position align with the spindle axis, with the slide (which can be moved lengthways in each guideway) V-ledges that move horizontally across the spindle and a height adjustment for the Turret head.
Voraussetzung für die Wirksamkeit dieser Höhen-The invention consists in that the two V-ledges are provided with a V-shaped longitudinal groove on the side opposite their inclined surface, the mating strips bearing guide tracks on the slide together with similar longitudinal grooves for two rows of balls, and that for height adjustment a spacer ring is arranged on the axis of the turret head so that it can be easily replaced. Ball guides in slide guides of machine tools are known per se. In consequence of the Arrangement of a longitudinally displaceable V-ledge on each of the two lateral Fübrungisbahnen can you not only compensate for the sled play in the known way, but you can also go through it Adjustment of the two V-ledges a certain parallel displacement of the upper part of the slide transversely to the length of the bench. You are therefore able to pinpoint the center of the slide exactly Set the work spindle center in the horizontal direction. The formation of the raceway for the balls on the wedge edges and the guideways the upper part of the slide ensures the horizontal position of the Sc center top and its freedom of play both in the horizontal as well as in the vertical direction. By replacing or reworking the Turret axis arranged spacer ring is to achieve that the indented in the working position Location bores of the turret head mounted on the upper part of the slide exactly with the center height or the working spindle oil in the center of the bank. The prerequisite for the effectiveness of this altitude
As a result of the possibility of subsequently setting the turret head precisely for spindle cuts you are able to install the turret ready for operation, while otherwise the turret e are generally only drilled out on the assembled bench. One could therefore harden the holes for inserting the ίο tools in the middle and outside of the machine ribbons. This is now possible according to the invention. This prevents the turret head after a short period of operation, both on its jacket and on its mounting holes damaged. So it cannot happen as with known unhardened turret heads, that the working accuracy of the machine is prematurely reduced. Most of all will too according to the invention a considerable structural simplification compared to such turret head guides achieved, in which a larger number of V-ledge pairs also a backlash-free The aim is to adjust the height and the windage of a turret head.
Es zeigen unter Fortlassung der für die Erfindung unwesentlichen TeileThe invention is explained and described below with reference to an example of the invention shown in the drawing. It show under Omission of the parts that are not essential for the invention

2 is the associated upper slide part and 3 a rotatably mounted thereon and by means not shown indexable turret head. In guides 4 of the lower part 1, V-strips 5 are known per se Way arranged adjustable by means of screws 6 and nuts 7. Ring shoulders 8 of the nuts 7 ensure that the KeiMeisten 5 can be taken along in both directions of movement. 9 are in the upper part of the slide used guideways which, like the V-ledges 5, are suitably hardened and ground are. Between the guide tracks 9 and the wedge strips 5 are rows of balls 10, whose mutual ball spacing through cage strips. 11th is secured. The guide tracks 9 or wedge strips 5 are facing the balls at their open end faces bevelled laterally in the manner of prismatic guides, so that when tightening the Wedge strips 5 any play of the upper slide 2 with respect to the lower slide 1 can be eliminated can without jeopardizing the easy movement of the carriage upper part on the lower part 1 as a result were. If you move one wedge bar 5 in one and the other in by turning its nut 7 in the opposite direction, the upper slide part 2 can be moved parallel to the lower part 1 move a certain amount sideways. This displaceability has the great advantage that a Turret slide previously manufactured outside of the turret bench, the working bores 12 of which are not exactly with the barrel axis shown Turret bank aligned, subsequently set to the vertical plane of the work spindle center of the bank can be.
With the slide base 1 and the turret head supporting upper slide part 2 is the height of the holes receiving the tools 12 of the turret over the lathe bed. Should this height after the assembly of the turret slide do not coincide exactly with the work spindle center of the bench, so the difference may be can be corrected in the following way:
The turret 3 is by means of two ball bearings 13, 14 on a vertical axis 15 of the upper part 2 bearing free of play. Below the lower ball bearing 14 there is a narrow spacer ring 16. This spacer ring 16 can easily after simply removing the turret 3, for. B. by grinding to such an exact length that the Center of the holes 12 exactly on the center of the work spindle the bank comes to rest. The adjustable spacer ring 16 together with the in the Guide tracks 9 and the cone strips 5 adjustable Rows of balls 10 thus enables the subsequent precise alignment of a per se with high Accuracy outside of the turret lathe manufactured turret, whereas otherwise with turret heads usual working accuracy is easily achieved with simple means.
