The subject of the present invention is a system for cleaning domestic wastewater according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
In larger agglomerations, domestic wastewater is fed directly to a municipal or city sewage treatment plant. It is not necessary to clean the wastewater before it is fed into the public sewer system: In recent times, domestic wastewater has also been required to be cleaned for properties that are outside the building area and usually far away from the public sewer system. In such cases, so-called three-chamber sewage treatment plants are already known, in which the solids and sometimes also the suspended matter can be removed from the wastewater and retained. These plants are sufficient as long as the wastewater does not contain any chemicals, such as those used today mainly in cleaning and washing products. Three-chamber sewage treatment plants are no longer sufficient for wastewater from remote guest houses, in which large quantities of washing products are also fed into the sewer system with dishwater contaminated with cooking oil and fat. Attempts have also been made recently to treat domestic wastewater using decentralized wastewater treatment plants on a mechanical/biological basis. These plants are energy-dependent on the one hand and require constant monitoring on the other. Plants that rely solely on the biological degradation of contaminants are very sensitive and tend to "tip over" if the wastewater is temporarily too polluted, meaning that they can no longer fulfill their task and the wastewater can enter nature (soil, streams, etc.) untreated.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. This is where the invention aims to remedy the situation.
Die Erfindung, wie sie in den Ansprüchen gekennzeichnet ist, löst die Aufgabe, eine Anlage zur Reinigung von Hausabwasser zu schaffen, welcheThe invention, as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a system for cleaning domestic waste water, which
der bereits vorhandenen Dreikammer-Kläranlage oder einer ähnlichen Reinigungsstufe nachgeschaltet wird und über Wochen und Monate ohne jede Überwachung das ihr zufliessende, mit Chemikalien noch verunreinigte Abwasser reinigt.is installed downstream of the existing three-chamber sewage treatment plant or a similar purification stage and cleans the wastewater flowing into it, which is still contaminated with chemicals, for weeks and months without any monitoring.
The system according to the invention makes it possible to clean the wastewater without the addition of chemicals to such an extent that it can either be safely discharged into a body of water or seep into the ground without causing damage to flora or fauna. The system can be manufactured at extremely low cost and can be installed directly next to any existing three-chamber sewage treatment plant. The filter in the middle chamber can be easily replaced or cleaned in countercurrent. The microorganisms that settle on the filter over time also cause a biological cleaning along with the mechanical cleaning. The system can be operated either by gravity or with a pressure gradient generated by a pump. Depending on the location, the system can be housed in a concrete pipe with a diameter of one to two meters, which is closed at the bottom by a base and covered at the top by a lid. If it is used in a remote and impassable area where, for example, transport is only possible by air, a plastic or metal container can be used instead of a concrete container. By installing a second filter stage in the drain pipe, even the finest remnants of suspended matter can be filtered out, so that essentially clear water can be taken from the system.
To improve the aeration of the wastewater and to achieve compliant BOD values (biochemical oxygen demand), it is possible to integrate an aeration line with an external aeration unit into the filter stage.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail using two illustrated embodiments. They show:
Figur 1 einen Grundriss der Anlage,Figure 1 shows a floor plan of the facility,
Figur 2 einen Querschnitt längs Linie II-II der Anlage in Figur 1, Figur 3 einen Grundriss einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Anlage und Figur 4 einen Querschnitt längs Linie IV-IV in Figur 3.Figure 2 shows a cross-section along line II-II of the system in Figure 1, Figure 3 shows a floor plan of another embodiment of the system and Figure 4 shows a cross-section along line IV-IV in Figure 3.
In the design according to Figures 1 and 2, the system consists of an essentially cylindrical container 1 with a base 3 and a lid 5. The lid 5 directly closes off the interior of the container 1, depending on the design. A supply line 7 and a drain line 9 open into the cylindrical shell of the container 1, with the drain line 9 being at the same height hl as the supply line or slightly below. Two partition walls 11 and 13 are arranged inside the container 1. The partition wall 11 is located between a storage space 15, into which water enters through the supply line 7, and a filter space 17, which is completely or partially filled with an open-pore plastic or mineral filter 19. The filter space 17 is further delimited by the partition wall 13, which, in contrast to the partition wall 11, can reach up to the ceiling 5 and leaves a gap open between the base 3 and the lower edge 14 of the wall. The intermediate wall 13 forms together with the adjacent wall of the container 1 a drainage space 21, from which the water can leave the container 1 through the drainage line 9. The filter 19 can either be arranged only in the area formed by the two opposing intermediate walls 11 and 13, or it can reach to the bottom 3 of the container 1, so that it runs in continuation of the wall 13 (shown in dash-dotted lines in Figure 2).
In a further embodiment of the invention according to Figures 3 and 4, the container 1 is rectangular. A pump 23 is installed in the inlet line 7, which supplies the water to the storage space at increased pressure. On the outlet side of the container 1, an additional filter 25 is installed in the outlet line 7, which fills the entire pipe cross-section and is arranged in the line 7 following an inspection opening 27. Of course, an inspection opening can also be provided in the inlet line 9.
The cover 5 can be lifted off as a whole or inspection openings can be provided for the individual chambers. An opening must be provided above the filter chamber 17 through which the entire filter 19, designed as a block, can be pulled out and cleaned outside the container 1 or replaced with a new filter block.
The system according to the invention shown in Figures 1 and 2 works as follows: Pre-cleaned water flows from a three-chamber sewage treatment plant through the supply line 7 into the storage space 15. From there it passes from above through the filter 19 in the filter chamber 17 into the drainage space 21 and leaves it through the drainage line 9. When the water flows through the filter 19, which takes place very slowly, all insoluble and partly soluble substances are retained by the filter and - if microorganisms are arranged on the filter 19 - a biological degradation of contaminants takes place. The water leaving the drainage space 21 has a degree of purity that allows it to be discharged into an open body of water or into nature without any problems.
In the system according to Figures 3 and 4, the water is introduced into the storage space 15 by a pump 23 and pressed from below through the filter to the drainage space 21. From the drainage space 21, the water passes through the drainage pipe again through an additional filter 25, which retains the last remaining suspended matter.
Of course, the system according to Figures 3 and 4 could also be operated without a pump if the water flowing through is given enough time to penetrate the filter 19 from bottom to top and the inflow line 9 flows into the container 1 above the outflow line.
By adding an aeration line 28 and an internal or external unit (blower) 29, the BOD values in the water to be cleaned can be improved.
