Falls nun die Rollen, die mit dem Messerrahmen zusammenarbeiten, ni,-ht an allen Stellen das Messer durch das Tabakblatt hindurchgedrückt haben, wird das Um- oder Deckblatt doch über die Schneide des Messers ai)- gerissen. Es ist nicht nötig, daß der Blattträger in einen stillstehenden Messerrahmen gesteckt wird. In manchen Fällen empfiehlt es sich, den Messer- rahmen beweglich, z. B. schwingbar, anzuordnen, derart, daß der Messerrahmen mir seinem Messer um den sich in der Blattaufnahmelage befindenden Blattträger aufgesetzt und wieder vom Blattträger entfernt werden kann.
