Description
In gas turbines, spaces are traversed by gases under pressure and at high temperature, the pressure in question being between 6 and 10 kg / cm 2 and the temperature reaching approximately 100 ° C. The main difficulty in making walls of such rooms is sufficient resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses. A special solution to this problem is known, which consists in providing each room with a double jacket in which a cold medium circulates in pressure equalization with the hot gases of the container. The result is that the inner wall, which is subjected to a high temperature by the hot gases, is free from mechanical stresses, with the proviso, however, that it can expand freely, while the outer wall, cooled by the coolant, is only mechanical due to the internal overpressure Is exposed to stresses excluding thermal stresses. In order to find a satisfactory solution here, cold air was introduced into the space between the double jacket, especially for the pressurized combustion chambers, whereby the
The pressurized air used in the inner wall is heated and finally sent to the combustion participates. Similar arrangements have been proposed for rooms that are used by the hot gases are flowed through, e.g. B. between the combustion chamber and the gas turbines. However, since the coolant heats up as it passes through, this results in uneven cooling of the outer one ίο coat, which cause irregular expansions and consequently deformations of the same can. Another known solution is the space located between the double walls with a heat-generating Refill funds and connect it to the room by means of perforations or through pipes to bring into pressure equalization. In this solution, the inner wall leaves only a small one Heat flow through it, but since it is weakly cooled, it can have a high temperature accept what is detrimental to their good preservation.
The invention relates to a cooling device which overcomes these inconveniences. she consists in that in the double jacket at least one intermediate grid is substantially parallel to the walls of the double jacket is arranged in such a way that there is the space between the the latter divided into special subspaces, the temperatures of which differ from the inner Decrease the wall after the outer wall as a result of the reduction in heat transfer due to radiation or heat transfer and leave the hot inner wall free of expansion.
It also relates to a distribution of the cooling air, whereby the regulated flow of this air guaranteed between the cold and the hot wall in the opposite sense to the heat flow will.

The arrangement of a gas turbine shown in Fig. 1 essentially comprises a compressor α for the combustion air, an auxiliary gas turbine b driving the compressor, a drive turbine c which supplies the Xutzkraft, a heat exchanger d which heats the compressed air through the heat content of the exhaust gases, and a pressurized combustion chamber e. provided with a burner Ii. The combustion chamber, the duct connecting the combustion chamber to the turbine b and the turbine b itself form spaces containing hot gases under pressure, and the resistance of the walls of these spaces to the action of pressure and high temperature can be ensured by the known method , which consists of the application of a double jacket with fresh air circulation under pressure between the two walls. For this purpose, the combustion chamber from a hot inner panel 1 and a cold outer panel 2, which are connected to sheets \ a and 2 "and b in the \ r Getting Connected channel of the turbine and form a double jacket in the case of this turbine. To the circulation of the fresh air To ensure that the space between these two walls is necessary, a discharge line g is provided on the air compressor α . A pressure is provided as the delivery pressure for the cooling air that is approximately equal to the power loss of the combustion air circuit going through the heat exchanger d The cooling air heats up progressively through contact with the inner walls of the turbine, the connecting ducts / and the combustion chambers. It then mixes with the combustion air that goes into the heat exchanger d and takes part in the combustion in the chamber e , which is carried out by the burner b is supplied with fuel. It is evident that the temp The temperature of the cooling fresh air increases continuously on its way from the gas turbine to the combustion chamber, so the outer wall is not cooled evenly, and this results in expansions and undesirable changes in shape.
The approximately 900 0 hot gases sweep through the channel k in the direction of the arrow f v, the cold air flows between the two walls i and; in the direction of the arrow / 2 , and finally the surrounding air is at 3 outside the device. The cold air that emerges from the compressor heats up progressively over its entire course through conduction, heat transfer and radiation of the wall, the cooling air moves in general whirling, which is due to the mixing of the
Blasting the agent causes the temperature of the outer wall to rise.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the heat transfer and the heat transferred by radiation are limited at the same time. For this purpose, a series of parallel grids e v e 2 , e s , e A etc. are arranged between the hot wall i and the outer wall / according to FIG.
luftstrom in mehrere Bänder unterteilen. The presence of these grids first reduces the heat transfer, since the air contained between the grids e x and e 2 , which heats up most on contact with the hot wall, cannot mix with the air contained between the grids e 2 and e 3 , and so on. In addition, the air present between the hot wall and the grille e t is exposed to the radiation from the hot wall. The air located between the grids e t and e 2 is now only exposed to the radiation from the grille e t , the temperature of which is lower than that of the hot inner wall i. Of course, the spaces delimited by the intermediate grids are in pressure equalization with the hot channel in such a way that the intermediate grids are not exposed to any mechanical stress. In general, the amount of heat transferred to the outer wall according to the device according to FIG. 3 is always less than that which it receives according to the arrangement according to FIG. 2; for this reason the temperature of the outer wall drops and the heat losses to the surrounding atmosphere are low.
According to a second embodiment of the invention, one restricts on the one hand at the same time radiation by adding gratings in superimposed layers between the inner and outer wall and on the other hand the heat transfer by the Cold air flow is directed in the opposite direction to the heat flow from the hot one goes to the cool wall.
Therefore, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, a number of grids e v e 2 , e s , e ± are arranged between the two walls in order to ensure pressure equalization with the hot channel provided with through-bores 1. In addition, the cool air is passed through a pipe system α, β, γ , etc. at numerous points on the cold outer wall, which is connected to the compressor. The cold air, warmed by radiation and heat transfer as it passes through the grille, penetrates the hot channel after it has flowed through the inner wall through a series of openings α ', β', / etc.
Of course, the tubes α, β, γ can be replaced by an additional jacket which surrounds the wall / and conveys the cooling air further and communicates with the space between the walls i and / through holes made in this latter wall.
Fig. 5 illustrates a modified embodiment of this arrangement is, in which the superposed gratings are replaced by a stack of hollow bodies, in which m of metal rings or consist of a refractory material and a number of small lattice form which reduce the radiation and the cooling air easily in the opposite Sense to let heat flow. One of these rings is shown on its own in FIG.
In Fig. 7, finally, another modified embodiment is shown in cross section, in which the grids consist of corrugated metal sheets η which are provided with holes p , while the corrugations are arranged according to differently inclined helical lines in such a way that the successive sheet metal plates are held at a distance from one another by allowing air to flow through the channels created by the waves. Fig. 8 shows the view of the two metal sheets arranged one above the other in this way.
As already stated above, the cooling air can be supplied through several tubes α, β, γ , etc. or through an additional jacket surrounding the wall.
It can also be fed between the wall / and the first corrugated sheet metal plate and then flows to the wall i in the opposite direction to the flow of heat by passing through the holes of the following sheet metal plates.
It is clear that in this embodiment of the invention, the hot inner wall of the Double jacket, which contains gases under pressure, is only exposed to thermal loads is, and that the outer wall is also kept evenly at a temperature when one this desires that is close to that of the cooling air. In addition, the heating takes place the air during its passage through the device in the opposite sense to the heat flow, by reducing the amount of heat that could reach the outer jacket and cause it to heat up will.
Diese Verbindung von zwei Kühlströmen, der eine senkrecht und derIn the embodiments according to FIG. 4 and the following, no air circuit is provided which is independent of the circuit brought about by the outer air pipes α, β, γ. However, in the case of the circuit taking place perpendicularly to the walls through the outer tubes α, β, γ , etc., a circuit in the longitudinal direction can be superposed, as in the known device. This connection of two cooling flows, the one perpendicular and the
andere parallel zu den Wänden, kann vorteilhaft im Fall der Ausführung nach den Fig. 4, 5 und 6 angewendet werden.others parallel to the walls can be advantageous in the case of the embodiment according to FIGS and 6 are applied.
In the case of FIG. 3, the wall i could be perforated in order to achieve a fresh air flow to the channel k in the opposite direction to the heat flow.
