lung mittels einer Zufuhr--und Abmeß-vorrich-
tung durch die Wandung der Preßkammer un-
. mittelbar über die Totpunktlage des Preß-
koLbens erfolgt, worauf sie sogleich verpreßt
wird, bevor sie durch Abkühlung in den zäh--
flüssigen Zustand übergegangen ist. Nach der
Erfindung wird diese bekannte Zufulirvorrich-
tu:ng in :der Weise weiter ausgebildet, daß
eine Verbindung mitJerunbeheizten Preßkaml-
iner nur für die kurze Zeitdauer des Einfl-
lens durch entsprechende Bewegung statt-
findet. Es wird also das Verpressen,des flüs-#
sigen Nietalls so .durchgeführt, daß die Öffnung
in der Wandung der Preßkammer Tiber der
Totpunktlage des Pragkolbens vorübergehend
mit der Ausflußöffnun,ä ,der Zu,fuhrvorrich-
turng zur Deckung gebracht wird, wobei nach
erfolgtem Einfüllen des Metalls das. Ab-
schließen der Einfüllöffnung der Preßkairitncr
durch, den Preßkolben selbst erfolgt und als-
dann die Zu.fuhrvorrichtung selbsttätig wieder
zurückgezogen wird.
Dadurch, daß das Mundstuck der Zufuhr-
vorrichtung nur für die Zeitdauer des Ein-
fül.len.s,des flüssigen Metalls in,die ttn -beheizte
Druckkammer mit der letzteren nach der Er-
findung in Berührung koinint, wird eine Wär-
-m.eableitung und damit A.lrki.thl.ting <fieses
Mundstuckes salbst verinioclen, wodurch das
flüssige Metall während seines Aufenthaltes
in,der Zufuhrleitunr nicht in seinem Flüssig-

Einfüllen in clie Druck:kannner aus dieser
Leitung so weit wieder curücksinkt"daß es
allseitig .durch (las Bail irn Schniel-ztiegel
wannigehalten wird.
Darüber -hinaus ist es in<il;licli, die Zuftthr-
lc:itung selbst durch ge.cignete Ileizvorrich-
tungrn stets auf der erforderlichen Tempera-
tur zur Beibehaltung des flüssigen Zustandes
zu :halten.
DieVerbindung einer7,tiftilirrinne in:t einer
kalten Preßkaininer nur für die Zeitdauer des
Hinfüllens des flÜssigen Metalls ist nur inso-
weit bekannt, als diese Zuleitung bisher voll
oben erfolgte, was hinsichtlich der :4'f<ig@ith-
]zeit der Oxydation des .Metalls u-ad der Ver-
änderung des flüssigen Zustandes ajh@er erheb
liehe Nachteile gegenüber der Zuführung nach
cler Erfindung besitzt.
Während eine vorübergehende Verbindung
z-#visclieil der Gießform und der Preßkaminer
nur für die kurze Zeitdauer des Füllens der
-Form seit langem bekannt ist, :hat man eine
derartige Verbindung iuill Einfüllen des Me-
talls in die kalte Preß-kammer bisher noch
nicht vorgeschlagen, weil man mit Preßgieß-
maschinen :bisher das Metall in breiigem Zu-
stand und nicht in dünnflüssigem wie ,bei der
Maschine nach der Erfindung vergossen hat.
.Die Zufuhrvorrichtungwird so gebaut, daß
eine hohe Beschleunigung des flüssigen Me-
talls, wie sie, bei S:pritzgiellmaschinen. er-
wünscht ist, beim Überfüllen vermieden wird,
also nur ein ruhiges Fließen des Metallstrahles
eintritt und damit ein Zerstäuben oder Sclila-
gem des Metalls in der unlweheizten Druck-
kammer wegfällt. -
An Hand von Ausführungsbeispielen sei
die Preßgießmaschine nach der Erfindung; er-
läutert.
Die Abb. i zeigt in schematischer Darstel-
lung einen senkrechten .Schnitt durch eine
Zufuhrvorrichtu.ng mit einer daran angeschlos-
senen unibeheizten stehenden Druckkammer.
Die Abb.2 ist eine Änsicht"-der Vorrichtung
nach A:bib.- i von oben (Grundriß) mit liegen-

,der kalter Preßkammer, imSchnitt gezeichnet.
Die Abb. 3 und q. zeigen E'.nzelheiten des Er-
tindung@gegenstandes.
Mit i ist ein Sclimel.ztiegol bezeichnet, der
durch die Deckplatte 2 gegen die Atmosphäre
abgeschlogsen ist, um eine Oxvdation leicht
oxv:lierliarer Metalle, wie Aluminium,, \°fa-
gnesium, zu vermeiden. Mit 3 ist ein flaschen-
artig ausgebildeter Zylinder mit einem sich
darin auf .und ab chewegenden Kolben 4 be-
zeichnet. An den Zylinder 3 schließt sich
außerhalb :des Schmelztiegels i ei.n Rohrstück 5
mit einem auswechselbaren -und' nötigenfalls
beheizbaren Mundstück 6 an, welches in eine
kalottenförinige Düse 7 endet.

wird. Eine Tiber der Deckplatte 2 verschieb-

mit dem Förderzylinder 3 verbunden und
durch Langlöcher 2o und Bolzen 21 kulissen-
artig geführt, wobei eine Verstellbarkeit so-
wohl nach der Seite als auch .nach der Höhe
vorhanden ist. Das Einfüllen .des -!Metalls in
den Schmelztiegel- erfolgt durch .die Üff-
nu.ng 2a, die besonders abgedeckt sein kann.
Die Heranführung der Öffnung 7 des
Mundstücks 6 an die Öffnung 12 in der kalten
Druckkammer i3 wird durch.einen um einen
Balzen 2a (A@@i. 2) schwenkbaren Hebel 23 in
der Weise ausgeführt, ,daß die durch diesen
Hebel hindurchgeführte Stange 18 mit einem
durch Feder 24. abgefederten Anschlag 25 nach
links gedrückt wird. Hierbei wird gleichzeitig
ein an .dem Hebel --3 mit Spiel angelenkter
Steuerhebel 26, der über einen Schwenkarm
27 mit beispielsweise einem Ventil28 ver-
bunden ist,'naeh links gerückt, wodurch das
Ventil 28 den Weg für die Preßlu.ft aus- dem
Zylinder io über dem Kolben g durch die Lei-
tung 30 ins Freie preisgibt (Albb. 3). Hier-
