Claims (11)
1. System zur NO-Messung in Ausatmungsluft, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das System aufweist:
(i) eine Gesichtsmaske (1), die eng die Nase und/oder
den Mund des Individuums bedeckt, an dem die Maske verwendet werden soll,
(ii) eine Einlaßeinheit (2) für eingeatmete Atemluft,
(iii) eine Auslaßeinheit (3) für ausgeatmete Atemluft,
(iv) ein Nichtrückatmungsventil (5), durch das eingeatmete bzw. ausgeatmete Atemluft passiert, und
(&ngr;) eine NO-Meßeinheit (4), die mit der Auslaßeinheit (3) verbunden ist.
(iii) eine Auslaßeinheit (3) für ausgeatmete Atemluft,
(iv) ein Nichtrückatmungsventil (5), durch das eingeatmete bzw. ausgeatmete Atemluft passiert, und
(&ngr;) eine NO-Meßeinheit (4), die mit der Auslaßeinheit (3) verbunden ist.
2. System nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einlaßeinheit (2) für eingeatmete Atemluft Schläuche
(6a, 6b) mit einer Öffnung zur ümgebungsluft (9) aufweist, wobei die Schläuche mit einem Filter (8) zur Entfernung
von in Umgebungsluft (9) vorhandenem NO ausgerüstet sein können.
3. System nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einlaßeinheit (2) für eingeatmete Atemluft einen
Schlauch aufweist, der mit einem Druckbehälter (7) für Atemluft verbunden ist, die vorzugsweise nicht signifikante
NO-Werte enthält.
4. System nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein elastisches Reservoir (11) mit den Schläuchen (6a, 6b)
zwischen den Druckbehälter (7) und dem Nichtrückatmungsventil (5) verbunden ist.
5. System nach einem der Ansprüche 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Auslaßeinheit (3) Schläuche (14a, 14b,
14c) für ausgeatmete Atemluft mit einer T-Verbindung
(15) zum Ableiten eines Teils der ausgeatmeten Atemluft
(Probenluftstrom) zu der Meßeinheit (4) hat.
6. System nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet
, daß der Probenluftstrom (15) kleiner als der mittlere Atmungsdurchfluß (Minutenvolumen) des Individuums
ist, an dem das System angewendet werden soll, so daß Verunreinigung durch Umgebungsluft vermieden ist.
7. System nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß mindestens ein Filter, das aus
(i) einem Filter (16) zum Trocknen von ausgeatmeter Atemluft,
(ii) einem Filter (17) zur Entfernung von CO2 in ausgeatmeter
Atemluft und
(iii) einem Teilchenfilter (18)
(iii) einem Teilchenfilter (18)
ausgewählt ist, mit den Schläuchen (14a) oder (14c) in der Auslaßeinheit (3) verbunden oder in die Meßeinheit
(4) integriert ist,
wobei vorgesehen ist, daß die Filter (16, 17, 18) so angeordnet
sind, daß die auf den Detektor zusteuernde Luft zuerst das mindestens eine Filter passiert.
8. System nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis I1 dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß es mindestens eine Vorrichtung hat, die aus
(i) einem Durchflußmesser (10) und
(ii) einem Auslaßventil (12), das
(ii) einem Auslaßventil (12), das
(a) den Druckaufbau in den Schläuchen (6a, 6b) für eingeatmete Atemluft und
(b) den Luftaustritt aus dem Einlaßventil (2) zu dem Auslaßventil (3) über das Nichtrückatmungsventil

9. Verfahren 2ur Diagnose von Ent &zgr; ündungs leiden in den
Luftwegen beim Menschen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß (i) der Wert von endogen er2eugtem NO in ausgeatmeter Atemluft
gemessen und (ii) ein festgestellter abnormer Wert als An2eige für ein Entzündungsleiden in den Luftwegen
oder dessen Gefahr betrachtet wird.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
der NO-Wert in oral oder nasal ausgeatmeter Atemluft gemessen und daß ein im Vergleich zur Normalpopulation erhöhter
Wert als Anzeige für ein Entzündungsleiden in den Luftwegen, z. B. Asthma oder Rhinitis, betrachtet wird.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der NO-Wert in nasal ausgeatmeter Atemluft gemessen und
daß ein im Vergleich zur Normalpopulation verringerter Wert als Anzeige für eine akute Entzündung in den oberen
Luftwegen betrachtet wird.
