Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Trockenflachdruckplatte und insbesondere eine Trockenflachdruckplatte mit hervorragender Formbeständigkeit, Haltbarkeit und Bildreproduzierbarkeit.
- Betreffend Trockenflachdruckplatten, die eine Silikonkautschukschicht als druckfarbenabweisende Schicht verwenden, wurden zahlreiche derartiger Druckplatten vorgeschlagen. Insbesondere die nachstehend angeführten Flachdruckplatten ermöglichen praktisches Drucken ohne Verwendung von Anfeuchtwasser: eine Trockenflachdruckplatte mit einer photopolymerisierbaren Klebeschicht und einer Silikonkautschukschicht, die beide auf ein Basissubstrat auflaminiert sind (geoffenbart in JP-54-26923B und JP-56-23150B); eine Trockenflachdruckplatte, die eine photodimerisierende lichtempfindliche Schicht und eine Silikonkautschukschicht enthält, die beide auf ein Basissubstrat auflaminiert sind (geoffenbart in JP-3-56622B und JP-61-153655A); eine Trockenflachdruckplatte, umfassend eine lichtempfindliche Schicht, die eine Orthochinondiazid-Verbindung enthält und mit einem Träger ausgekleidet ist, und eine Silikonkautschukschicht, die über eine Klebeschicht auf der lichtempfindlichen Schicht ausgebildet ist (geoffenbart in JP-61-54222B); und eine Trockenflachdruckplatte, die eine Photostripping-Schicht und eine darauf ausgebildete Silikonkautschukschicht umfaßt (geoffenbart in JP-61-5422 2B).
- Die Anmelder haben eine umfangreiche Untersuchung der Leistungsfähigkeit, insbesondere der Haltbarkeit, von Trockenflachdruckplatten durchgeführt, die nach solchen herkömmlichen Verfahren erhalten werden. Beispielsweise haben sie eine Trockenflachdruckplatte unter Verwendung einer durch Licht härtbaren, lichtempfindlichen Schicht hergestellt, wie dies in den Arbeitsbeispielen von JP-54-26923B beschrieben ist, und einen Offsetdruckvorgang unter Verwendung der so gefertigten Druckplatte durchgeführt. Es wurden danach zwischen der lichtempfindlichen Schicht und der Silikonkautschukschicht wiederholt Spannungen erzeugt, was zum Bruch an der verklebten Grenzfläche zwischen den Schichten führte, wodurch keine hohe Haltbarkeit erzielbar war.
- Außerdem haben die Anmelder eine Trockenflachdruckplatte unter Verwendung einer photodimerisierenden lichtempfindlichen Schicht hergestellt (siehe Arbeitsbeispiele von JP-3-56622B und JP-61-153655A), und führten einen Offsetdruckvorgang unter Verwendung der so gefertigten Druckplatte durch. Ein Ablösen der Silikonkautschukschicht trat nur deshalb auf, weil eine geringe Bindekraft zwischen der lichtempfindlichen Schicht und der Silikonkautschukschicht herrschte, wodurch keine hohe Haltbarkeit erzielt werden konnte.
- Außerdem haben die Anmelder eine Trockenflachdruckplatte unter Verwendung einer photozersetzenden lichtempfindlichen Schicht (siehe Arbeitsbeispiele in den JP-61- 54218B und JP-61-54222B). Es kam zum Reißen der lichtempfindlichen Schicht, und selbst die Silikonkautschukschicht erhielt Risse, sodaß keine hohe Haltbarkeit erzielt werden konnte.
- Aus weiteren Untersuchungen über die Ursachen der obigen Probleme wurden die folgenden Schlüsse gezogen. Wenn eine Trockenflachdruckplatte mit im Handel erhältlichen Rollenoffsetdruckpressen verwendet wird, ist eine Haltbarkeit von 100.000 bis 600.000 Kopien erforderlich, doch da das Drucken mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 600 bis 1.000 U/min vonstatten geht, wird die Trockenflachdruckplatte vor der Übertragung der Druckfarbe von der Druckplatte auf die Druckfläche wiederholten Spannungen ausgesetzt, sodaß es in der Silikonkautschukschicht und auch an der verklebten Grenzfläche zwischen der lichtempfindlichen Schicht und der Silikonkautschukschicht leicht zu Rissen komt, wodurch es unmöglich ist, eine hohe Haltbarkeit zu erzielen. Wenn eine Trockenflachdruckplatte mit Rollenoffsetdruckpressen für Zeitungen verwendet wird, erfolgt das Drucken mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 150.000 Blatt pro Stunde; das bedruckte Papier weist außerdem mangelhafte Glätte auf, ist oft holzig und enthält viel Papierstaub, sodaß sich Papierstaub auf der Druckfläche anhäuft. Bei der Übertragung der Druckfarbe von der Druckplatte auf die Druckfläche trifft der Papierstaub auf die Druckplatte, wodurch die Silikonkautschukschicht und die lichtempfindliche Schicht reißen. Aus diesem Grund wird nur eine Haltbarkeit von 10.000 Blatt erreicht.
- Nach umfangreichen Untersuchungen zur Lösung der mit bekannten Druckplatten verbundenen Probleme stellten die Anmelder fest, daß diese Probleme durch Verwendung einer lichtempfindlichen Schicht einer bestimmten Zusammensetzung zufriedenstellend minimiert oder eliminiert werden können und daß dadurch eine Trockenflachdruckplatte mit hervorragender Haltbarkeit erzeugt werden kann, ohne die Bildreproduzierbarkeit zu beeinträchtigen.
- Demzufolge stellt die vorliegende Erfindung eine Trockenflachdruckplatte bereit, die selbst dann eine ausgezeichnete Haltbarkeit und Bildreproduzierbarkeit aufweist, wenn sie für kommerzielle Rollenoffsetdruckpressen oder Rollenoffsetdruckpressen für Zeitungen verwendet wird.
- Die Erfindung bietet eine Trockenflachdruckplatte, die eine lichtempfindliche und eine Silikonkautschukschicht enthält, die beide nacheinander auf ein Basissubstrat auflaminiert werden, wobei die lichtempfindliche Schicht ein Diamin-Derivat der folgenden allgemeinen Formel (1):
- und gegebenenfalls ein Diamin-Derivat der folgenden allgemeinen Formel (2):
- enthält, worin in den Formeln (1) und (2) R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3;, R&sub4;, R&sub7;, R&sub6;, R&sub9; und R&sub1;&sub0; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder ein Kohlenwasserstoff, substituierter Kohlenwasserstoff, eine Acyl- oder eine substituierte Acylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sind; R&sub5; und R&sub6; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sind; und n = 1 bis 50 ist.
- Das in der Erfindung verwendete Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (I) kann durch eine Additionsreaktion einer Diamin-Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel:
- worin R&sub5;, R&sub6; und n wie oben definiert sind, und einer Glycidyl-Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel:
- worin R = R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3; und R&sub4; ist, hergestellt werden. Wie bereits erwähnt, sind R&sub1; bis R&sub4; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder ein Kohlenwasserstoff, substituierter Kohlenwasserstoff, eine Acyl- oder eine substituierte Acylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, doch es ist vorzuziehen, daß zumindest ein Teil der Gesamtmenge der Diamin- Verbindung der Formel (1) zumindest eine Gruppe R&sub1;-R&sub4; mit einer photopolymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Bindung aufweist. Es ist besonders vorzuziehen, daß zumindest ein Teil der, noch bevorzugter die gesamte, Verbindung (1) Gruppen R&sub1; bis R&sub4; aufweist, in denen 1 bis 4 Reste R&sub1; bis R&sub4; Acryloyl oder Methacryloyl sind. In diesem Fall ist es vorzuziehen, daß alle übrigen Gruppen R&sub1; bis R&sub4; Kohlenwasserstoff oder substituierte Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen ohne photopolymerisierbare Gruppe sind, z. B. Alkyl, Arylalkyl, Aryl oder silyl-substituiertes Alkyl mit einer hydrolysierbaren Gruppe.
- Als Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (4) werden in diesem Fall Glycidylacrylat oder Glycidylmethacrylat, das hierin als "Glycidyl(meth)acrylat" (4-1) bezeichnet wird, und eine Monoglycidylether-Verbindung (4-2) ohne eine photpolymerisierbare Gruppe (siehe unten) der Additionsreaktion mit der Diamin-Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (3) zugeführt.
- Die Diamin-Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (I) ist ein Diamin, das von Polyethylenglykol oder Polypropylenglykol abgeleitet ist, wobei aus praktischen Gründen R&sub5; und R&sub6; in der Formel jeweils an das Kohlenstoffatom neben dem Stickstoff gebunden (und daher vom Sauerstoff der Etherbindung entfernt) dargestellt sind, doch es ist auch jener Fall umfaßt, wo R&sub5; oder R&sub6;, vorzugsweise beide, an den Kohlenstoff des benachbarten Methylens gebunden sind. Die allgemein Formel (I) umfaßt beide Fälle.
- Es folgten spezifische Beispiele für die Diamin-Verbindung (3):

- Diese Verbindungen sind bezüglich ihrer Zusammensetzung nicht speziell eingeschränkt, umfassen jedoch vorzugsweise 1 bis 4 Mol, noch bevorzugter 1 bis 3,5 Mol, Glycidyl(meth)acrylat (4-1) und 0 bis 3 Mol, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 3 Mol, Monoglycidylether-Verbindung (4-1) bezogen auf 1 Mol der Diamin-Verbindung (3), sofern die Summe von (4-1) und (4-2) 4 Mol beträgt.

- Ein Addukt, das durch eine Additionsreaktion von 1 Mol Mono- oder Polyoxypropylendiamin, wobei n = 1 bis 10 ist, 1-4 Mol Glycidylmethacrylat und 0-3 Mol einer Monoglycidylether-Verbindung, ausgewählt aus Methylglycidylether, Ethylglycidylether, n- Propylglycidylether, Isopropylglycidylether und N-Butylglycidylether, erhalten wird, ist vorzuziehen.
- Als Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (2) ist wie beim Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (1) ein Addukt vorzuziehen, das durch Additionsreaktion einer Diamin- Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (5):

- worin X wie oben definiert ist, mit Glycidyl(meth)acrylat (4-1) und einer Monoglycidylether-Verbindung (4-2) ohne photopolymerisierbare Gruppe erhalten wird. Dessen Zusammensetzung unterliegt keinen besonderen Einschränkungen. Es ist jedoch beispielsweise vorzuziehen, daß die folgenden Komponenten einer Additionsreaktion unterzogen werden:
- 1 Mol einer Diamin-Verbindung (5),
- 1-3 Mol Glycidyl(meth)acrylat (4-1) und
- 1-3 Mol einer Monoglycidylether-Verbindung (4-2)
- (z. B. Methylglycidylether, Ethylglycidylether, n-Propylglycidylether, Isopropylglycidylether, n-Butylglycidylether, Isobutylglycidylether, n-Hexylglycidylether, 2-Ethylhexylglycidylether, n-Decylglycidylether, Allylglycidylether, Phenylglycidylether, Glycidol). - Bevorzugt ist ein Addukt, das durch Additionsreaktion von 1 Mol m- oder p-Xylylendiamin, 1-3 Mol Glycidylmethacrylat und 1-3 Mol Monoglycidylether-Verbindung, ausgewählt aus Methylglycidylether, Ethylglycidylether, n-Propylglycidylether, Isopropylglycidylether und n-Butylglycidylether, erhalten wird.
- Die in der vorliegenden Erfindung verwendete lichtempfindliche Schicht kann die folgende Zusammensetzung aufweisen:
- (1) Monomer der allgemeinen Formel (1) 5-70
- (2) Monomer der allgemeinen Formel (2) 0-70
- (3) zumindest ein anderes, z. B. herkömmliches, photopolymerisierbares, ethylenisch ungesättigtes Monomer oder Oligomer 3-50
- (4) Binderpolymer für Formbeständigkeit 20-80
- (5) Photosensitizer 0,2-20
- Die folgende Zusammensetzung ist bevorzugter:
- (1) Monomer der allgemeinen Formel (1) 10-50

- (3) ein oder mehrere herkömmliche, photopolymerisierbare, ethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere oder Oligomere 5-20

- Als typische Beispiele für photopolymerisierbare, ethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere und Oligomere, die sich für die vorliegende Erfindung eignen, können (Meth)Acrylester von einwertigen und mehrwertigen Alkohlen erwähnt werden.
- Es folgen typische Beispiele für ethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere, die sich für die vorliegenden Erfindung eignen:
- (1) (Meth)Acrylester der folgenden Alkohole:
- Methanol, Ethanol, Propanol, Pentanol, Cyclohexanol, Octanol, Undecanol, Bornylalkohol, Ethylenglykol, Polyethylenglykol, Propylenglykol, Polypropylenglykol, Butylenglykol, Nonandiol, Glycerin, Trimethylolmethan, Pentaerythrit.
- (2) Epoxyacrylate, die aus der Reaktion von Glycidylether-Verbindungen und (Meth)- Acrylsäure resultieren.
- (3) Urethanacrylate, wie z. B. Glycerindiacrylat-Isophorondiisocyanat-Urethan-Präpolymer und Pentaerythrittriacrylat-Hexamethylendiisocyanat-Urethan-Präpolymer.
- Bezüglich des zur Formbeständigkeit in der Erfindung verwendeten Binderpolymers ist es wünschenswert, eines auszuwählen, das mit den in der Erfindung verwendeten Monomeren und dem Photosensitizer sehr gut verträglich ist. Beispielsweise können die folgenden Polymere und Copolymere verwendet werden:
- (1) Vinylpolymere, z. B. Polyvinylacetat, Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylbutyral, Polyvinylmethylether, Polyvinylchlorid und Polyethylen, sowie Copolymere davon.
- (2) (Meth)Acrylesterpolymere, z. B. Polyethyl(meth)acrylat und Polybutyl(meth)acrylat, sowie Copolymere davon.
- (3) Nicht-vulkanisierte Kautschuke, z. B. Naturkautschuk, Polybutadien, Polyisobutylen, Polychloropren und Polyneopren, sowie Copolymere davon.
- (4) Polyether, z. B. Polyethylenoxid und Polypropylenoxid.
- (5) Polyamide und Copolymere der folgenden Monomere: Caprolactam, Laurolactam, Hexamethylendiamin, 4,4'-Bisaminocyclohexylmethan, 2,4,4-Trimethylhexamethylendiamin, Isophorondiamin, Diglykole, Isophthalsäure, Adipinsäure, Sebacinsäure. (6) Polyester, z. B. ein Kondensat von Terephthalsäure und 1,4-Butandiol.
- (7) Polyurethane, z. B. Polyurethan aus Hexamethylendiisocyanat, Toluoldiisocyanat oder Naphthalin-1,5-diisocyanat und 1,4-Butandiol.
- Es folgen typische Beispiele für in der vorliegenden Erfindung geeignete Photosensitizer:
- (1) Benzophenon-Derivate, z. B. Benzophenon, Michler's Keton, 4,4'-Bisdiethylaminobenzophenon, Xanthon und Anthron.
- (2) Benzoin-Derivate, z. B. Benzoin, Benzoinmethylether und Benzoinethylether.
- (3) Chinone, z. B. p-Benzochinon, β-Naphthochinon und β-Methylanthrachinon.
- (4) Thioxanthone, z. B. Thioxanthon, 2-Chlorthioxanthon, 2,4-Diethylthioxanthon und Isopropylthioxanthon.
- Um einen sehr gut geeigneten Photosensitizer auszuwählen, ist es wünschenswert, daß die Verträglichkeit mit den anderen Komponenten der lichtempfindlichen Schicht und das Spektrum der zur Belichtung verwendeten Lichtquelle berücksichtigt werden.
- Um die Lagerbeständigkeit der resultierenden Druckplatte zu verbessern, ist es wirksam, eine sehr geringe Menge eines Thermo-Polymerisationshemmers in die lichtempfindliche Schicht einzuarbeiten. Beispiele für solche Thermo-Polymerisationshemmer sind Hydrochinon, Hydrochinonmonomethylether und Phenothiazin.
- Um der lichtempfindlichen Schicht Formbeständigkeit zu verleihen, sodaß die darüberliegende Silikonkautschukschicht horizontal in bezug auf die Substratoberfläche abgestützt wird, oder um die Hafteigenschaft der lichtempfindlichen Schicht in bezug auf die Silikonkautschukschicht zu erhöhen, kann z. B. ein Organosilan, ein Silan-Haftvermittler oder eine organometallische Verbindung in der lichtempfindlichen Schicht enthalten sein.
- (1) Beispiele für Organosilane sind Oscol 1432 und Oscol 1132 (Organosilanpulver, hergestellt von Catalysts & Chemicals Industries Co., Ltd.)
- (2) Beispiele für Silan-Haftvermittler sind 3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilan, 3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilan, γ-Glycidoxytrimethoxysilan und γ-Mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilan.
- (3) Beispiele für die organometallische Verbindung sin Dibutylzinndiacetat, Dibutylzinndilaurat, Tetrabutyltitanat und Tetraisopropyltitanat.
- Die lichtempfindliche Schicht wird einheitlich auf dem Basissubstrat ausgebildet, wobei ihre Dicke nicht entscheidend ist, sofern sie in engem Kontakt mit dem Substrat steht; sie beträgt jedoch vorzugsweise nicht mehr als 300 um, noch bevorzugter nicht mehr als 100 um. Weiters kann es gegebenenfalls nützlich sein, eine Primerschicht zwischen dem Substrat und der lichtempfindlichen Schicht auszubilden, um die Haftung zwischen den zwei Schichten zu verbessern oder Halobildung zu verhindern.
- Die in der Erfindung geeignete Silikonkautschukschicht besitzt eine Dicke von 0,5-50 um, vorzugsweise 0,5-10 um, und auch eine Transparenz, die das Eindringen von UV- Licht durch diese Schicht ermöglicht. Eine nützliche Silikonkautschukschicht wird durch schwaches Vernetzen eines linearen Diorganopolysiloxans (vorzugsweise Dimethylpolysiloxan) erhalten. Eine typische Silikonkautchukschicht enthält die folgende wiederkehrende Einheit:
- worin n eine ganze Zahl von 2 oder mehr ist und jedes R eine Alkyl-, Aryl- oder Cyanoalkyl-Gruppe mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen ist, sofern vorzugsweise 40% oder weniger aller R Vinyl, Phenyl, halogeniertes Vinyl oder halogeniertes Phenyl sind und 60% oder mehr Methyl sind.
- Bezüglich der auf die Druckplatte der Erfindung aufgebrachten Silikonkautschukschicht wird ein Silikonkautschuk (RTV- oder LTV-Silikonkautschuk) verwendet, der durch die folgende Kondensations-Vernetzung erhalten wird. Es kann ein Silikonkautschuk verwendet werden, in dem ein Teil von R oder eine Diorganopolysiloxan-Kette durch H substituiert ist. Üblicherweise erfolgt aber das Vernetzen durch Kondensation von Endgruppen, die durch die folgenden Formeln dargestellt sind. Gegebenenfalls kann überschüssiger Vernetzer darin vorliegen.
- In den obigen Formeln ist R wie oben definiert, R&sub1; und R&sub2; sind jeweils einwertiges Niederalkyl, und Ac ist Acetyl. In einen solchen kondensationsvernetzten Silikonkautschuk wird ein Carboxylat eines Metalls, wie z. B. Zinn, Zink, Blei, Calcium oder Mangan, wie z. B. Dibutylzinnlaurat, Zinn(II)octoat, Naphthenat oder ein Katalysator wie z. B. Chlorplatinsäure, eingearbeitet.
- In der Silikonkautschukschicht, die die Oberfläche der so zusammengesetzten Trockenflachdruck-Ausgangsplatte bildet, entsteht häufig das Problem, daß es für einen positven Film schwierig ist, während des Belichtungs-Verfahrens in zufriedenstellendem Ausmaß mit der Silikonkautschukschicht in Kontakt zu kommen. Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, kann ein transparenter, dünner Schutzfilm auf die Oberfläche der Silikonkautschukschicht aufgeklebt werden. Der Schutzfilm dient für das Belichtungsverfahren, doch während des Entwicklungsverfahrens wird er durch Ab- oder Auflösen entfernt, und im Druckverfahren ist er nicht erforderlich.
- Ein nützlicher Schutzfilm besitzt UV-Durchlässigkeit und eine Dicke von höchstens 100 um, vorzugsweise höchstens 10 um. Typische Beispiele dafür sind Polyethylen-, Polypropylen-, Polyvinylchlorid- und Polyethylenterephthalat-Filme sowie Cellophan. Die Oberfläche des Schutzfilms kann Ausbauchungen und Austiefungen aufweisen, um den engen Kontakt mit einem positiven Film weiter zu verbessern. Statt des Schutzfilms kann auch eine Schutzschicht nach einem Beschichtungsverfahren aufgebracht werden.
- Die Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte als oben beschriebenes Laminat der Erfindung wird z. B. in folgender Weise hergestellt.
- Als erstes wird eine lichtempfindliche Schicht auf ein Basissubstrat aufgebracht und getrocknet. Dann wird eine Silikonkautschuklösung darauf aufgebracht und vollständig gehärtet, um eine Silikonkautschukschicht zu bilden, auf die dann im Bedarfsfall ein Schutzfilm aufgeklebt wird.
- Die so hergestellte Flachdruckplatte der Erfindung wird aktinischer Strahlung durch einen positiven Film ausgesetzt, der im Vakuum in engen Kontakt mit der Platte gebracht wurde. Als Lichtquelle wird im Belichtungsverfahren üblicherweise eine Hochdruck-Quecksilberdampflampe, eine Kohlebogenlampe, eine Xenonlampe oder eine Fluoreszenzlampe verwendet.
- Nach Ende der Belichtung wird der Schutzfilm von der Druckplatte abgelöst und die Platte anschließend in einen Entwickler eingetaucht; die Entwicklung erfolgt unter Verwendung eines Kissens oder einer Bürste.
- Als Entwickler wird in der Erfindung üblicherweise einer verwendet, der als Entwickler für eine Trockenflachdruckplalte vorgeschlagen wurde. Geeignete Beispiele sind jene, die aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe (z. B. Hexan, Heptan, "Iso Par" E, G, H (ein Produkt von Esso Chemical Co.), Benzin, Kerosin, aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe (z. B. Toluol, Xylol) und halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe (z. B. Trichlen) umfassen, die zum Quellen von Silikonkautschuk fähig sind, und unten angeführte polare Lösungsmittel sowie die folgenden polaren Lösungsmittel alleine oder Gemische davon:
- Alkohole (z. B. Methanol, Ethanol, Propanol, Ethylenglykol, Diethylenglykol, Triethylenglykol, Polyethylenglykol, Propylenglykol, Dipropylenglykol, Tripropylenglykol, Polypropylenglykol, 1,3-Butylenglykol, 2,3-Butylenglykol, Hexylenglykol, 2-Ethyl-1,3-hexandiol);
- Ether (z. B. Ethylenglykolmonoethylether), Diethylenglykolmonomethylether, Diethylenglykolmonoethylether, Diethylenglykolmonobutylether, Diethylenglykolmonohexyl ether, Diethylenglykolmono-2-ethylhexylether, Triethylenglykolmonoethylether, Tetraethylenglykolmonoethylether, Propylenglykolmonomethylether, Dipropylenglykolmonoethylether, Tripropylenglykolmonomethylether);
- Ester (z. B. Ethylenglykolmonomethyletheracetat, Ethylenglykolmonoethyletheracetat, Diethylenglykolmonomethyletheracetat, Diethylenglykolmonoethyletheracetat);
- Ketone (z. B. Aceton, Methylethylketon, Methylisobutylketon, Diacetonalkohol); und Carbonäuren (z. B. 2-Ethylbutersäure, Capronsäure, Caprylsäure, 2-Ethylhexansäure, Caprinsäure, Ölsäure).
- Es folgt eine ausführliche Beschreibung der Erfindung durch Beispiele, auf welche die Erfindung jedoch nicht beschränkt ist.
- Als erstes werden die verschiedenen in den Beispielen verwendeten Symbole erläutert.
- M-1: N,N,N'-Tri-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropyl)-N'-mono-(2-hydroxy-3-butoxypropyl)trioxyethylendiamin
- M-2: N,N'-Di-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropyl)-N,N'-di-(2-hydroxy-3-butoxypropyl)- m-xylylendiamin
- M-3 : 1,9-Nonandioldiacrylat
- M-4: N,N,N',N'-Tetra-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropyl)hexaoxypropylendiamin

- Eine Primerlösung der nachstehend angeführten Zusammensetzung wurde auf eine 3 mm dicke entfettete Aluminiumplatte aufgetragen und dann 1 Minute lang bei 230ºC getrocknet, um eine Primerschicht mit einer Dicke von 3 g/m² zu bilden.
- (1) Kancoat 90T-25-3094 (Epoxyphenolharz, ein Produkt von Kansai Paint Co., Ltd.) 15 Gewichtsteile
- (2) Dimethylformamid 85 Gewichtsteile
- Dann wurde eine lichtempfindliche Lösung der nachstehend angeführten Zusammensetzung auf die Primerschicht aufgetragen und 1 Minute lang bei 100ºC getrocknet, um eine lichtempfindliche Schicht mit einer Dicke von 4 g/m² zu bilden:
- (1) Polyurethan von Polyesterpolyol und Isophorondiisocyanat, wobei das Polyesterpoliol Adipinsäure und Polyethylenglykol umfaßte 56 Gewichtsteile.
- (2) M-1 14 Gewichtsteile
- (3) M-2 14 Gewichtsteile
- (4) M-3 8 Gewichtsteile
- (5) 4,4'-Bis(diethylamin)benzophenon 5 Gewichtsteile
- (6) N-Methylacridon 5 Gewichtsteile
- (7) Kristallviolett 0,3 Gewichtsteile
- (8) Ethyl-Cellosolve 580 Gewichtsteile
- Anschließend wurde eine Silikongummilösung der nachstehend angeführten Zusammensetzung auf die lichtempfindliche Schicht aufgetragen und 2 Minuten lang bei 120ºC getrocknet, um eine Silikonkautschukschicht mit einer Dicke von 2 g/m² zu bilden:
- (1) Beidendiges Polydimethylsiloxan (durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht: 10.000) 100 Gewichtsteile
- (2) Ethyltriacetoxysilan 12 Gewichtsteile
- (3) Dibutylzinndiacetat 0,1 Gewichtsteile
- (4) "Iso Par" E 750 Gewichtsteile
- Auf die so hergestellte Platte wurde ein 61 um dicker Polyethylenterephthalat-Film ("Lumirror", ein Produkt von Toray Industries Inc.) als Schutzfilm auflaminiert, um eine Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte zu erhalten.
- Dann wurde ein gradationspositiver Film mit einem Muster von 150 Linien/Zoll und 2- 98% Punkten in engen Kontakt mit der Ausgangsplatte gebracht, gefolgt von der Belichtung mit einer Ultrahochdruck-Quecksilberdampflampe mit 3 kW (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing Co.) aus einer Entfernung von 1 m über den Zeitraum von 90 Sekunden.
- Der laminierte Schutzfilm wurde von der belichteten Platte entfernt, dann ein Entwickler aus Diethylenglykolmono-2-ethylhexylether/1,3-Butylenglykol = 70/30 in ein Vorbehandlungsgefäß einer automatischen Entwicklungsvorrichtung für Trockenflachplatten (TWL-1160, ein Produkt von Toray Industries Inc.) gegossen, während Wasser in ein Entwicklungsgefäß geschüttet wurde, und die Entwicklung bei einer Vorbehandlungstemperatur von 40ºC und einer Fördergeschwindigkeit von 100 m/min durgeführt, um eine Trockenflachdruckplatte zu erhalten.
- Die so erhaltene Druckplatte wurde an einer Offsetpresse (Komori Sprint 4 Color) montiert und beschichtetes Papier mittels "Driocolor"-Cyanfarbe (ein Produkt von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) bedruckt. In der Folge wurden Drucke mit hervorragen der Bildqualität erhalten, in denen 2-98% Punkte mit 150 Linien/Zoll wiedergegeben wurden.
- In einem weiteren Versuch wurde ein positiver Film mit einem Muster von 150 Linien/Zoll in engen Kontakt mit der oben erwähnten Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte gebracht und 90 Sekunden lang aus einer Entfernung von 1 m mit einer Ultrahochdruck- Quecksilberdampflampe mit 3 kW (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing Co.) belichtet, gefolgt von der Entwicklung in gleicher Weise wie oben, um eine Trockenflachdruckplatte zu erhalten. Dann wurde die Druckplatte an einer kommerziellen Rollenoffsetdruckpresse (LITHOPIA, ein Produkt von Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.) montiert und ein Haltbarkeitsversuch durchgeführt, indem holzfreies Papier mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 600 U/min unter Verwendung von "Driocolor"-Druckfarben (schwarz, cyan, magenta und gelb, Produkte von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) bedruckt wird. Selbst nach dem Drucken von 180.000 Kopien wurden gute Drucke erhalten, und eine Überprüfung der Druckplatte nach dem Ende des Druckvorgangs zeigte, daß die Druckplatte nur leicht beschädigt war.
- Druckausgangsplatten wurden in gleicher Weise wie in Beispiel 1 hergestellt, außer daß nur hinsichtlich der Monomere eine Änderung vorgenommen wurde, wie aus der Tabelle ersichtlich.
- Dann wurde ein gradationspositiver Film mit 2-98% Punkten mit 150 Linien/Zoll in engen Kontakt mit jeder der so erhaltenen Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatten gebracht und die Platten aus einer Entfernung von 1 m 90 Sekunden lang mit einer Ultrahochdruck- Quecksilberdampflampe (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing) mit 3 kW belichtet, gefolgt von der Entwicklung in gleicher Weise wie in Beispiel 1, um Trockenflachdruckplatten zu erhalten. Anschließend wurden die Druckplatten jeweils an einer Offsetpresse (Komori Spring 4 Color) montiert und ein Bildreproduzierbarkeitsversuch mit beschichtetem Druckpapier unter Verwendung von "Driocolor"-Cyanfarbe (ein Produkt von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) durchgeführt.
- In einem anderen Versuch wurde ein positiver Film mit einem Muster von 150 Linien/Zoll in engen Kontakt mit jeder der obigen Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatten gebracht und aus einer Entfernung von 1 m 90 Sekunden lang mit einer Ultrahochdruck-Quecksilberdampflampe mit 3 kW (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing Co.) belichtet, gefolgt von der Entwicklung in gleicher Weise wie in Beispiel 1, um Trockenflachdruckplatten zu erhalten. Danach wurden die so erhaltenen Druckplatten jeweils an im Handel erhältliche Rollenoffsetdruckpressen monitert (LITHOPIA, ein Produkt von Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.) und ein Haltbarkeitsversuch durchgeführt, indem holzfreies Papier mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 600 U/min mit "Driocolor"-Druckfarben (schwarz, cyan, magenta und gelb, Produkte von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) bedruckt wurde.
- Die folgende Tabelle zeigt die Ergebnisse des Bildreproduzierbarkeits- und Haltbarkeitsversuchs. Tabelle
- In den Beispielen 2 und 3 unter Verwendung von Monomeren und lichtempfindlichen Schichten mit spezifischen Zusammensetzungen der Erfindung wurden Drucke mit hervorragender Bildqualität erhalten, in denen 2-98% Punkte mittels eines positiven Films mit einem Muster von 150 Linien/Zoll reproduziert wurden (siehe Tabelle). In Beispiel 4 wurden Drucke mit guter Bildqualität und 3-97% reproduzierten Punkten erhalten.
- Der Haltbarkeitsversuch unter Verwendung der im Handel erhältlichen Offsetdruckpresse lieferte Haltbarkeitswerte über dem angestrebten Wert von 100.000 Kopien.
- Eine 15 um dicke Photokleber-Schicht mit nachstehend angeführter Zusammensetzung wurde auf einer Aluminiumplatae ausgebildet, die gekörnt worden war.
- (1) "Polylite" TDR-1131-R (ungesättigtes Polyesterharz, ein Produkt von Dainippon lnk and Chemicals, Inc.) 65 Gewichtsteile
- (2) M-9 30 Gewichtsteile
- (3) Benzoinmethylether 5 Gewichtsteile
- Auf diese Photokleber-Schicht wurde eine Lösung der nachstehend angeführten Silkonkautschuk-Zusammensetzung in n-Heptan aufgebracht, gefolgt von 24-stündigem Lufttrocknen bei Raumtemperatur, um eine 2 um dicke Silikonkautschukschicht zu bilden.
- (1) Dimethylpolysiloxan (durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht: 100.000) 85 Gewichtsteile
- (2) Methyltriacetoxysilan 8,5 Gewichtsteile
- (3) Dibutylzinnacetat 0,5 Gewichtsteile
- (4) Aerogil (Kieselsäure) 9 Gewichtsteile
- Danach wurde "Lumirror" (Polyesterfilm, ein Produkt von Toray Industries, Inc.) als Schutzfilm auf die Oberfläche der so gebildeten Silikonkautschukschicht auflaminiert, was eine Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte ergab. Ein gradationspositiver Film mit 2-98% Punkten mit 150 Linien/Zoll wurde dann in engen Kontakt mit der Druckausgangsplatte gebracht und 90 Sekunden lang aus einer Entfernung von 1 m mit einer Ultrahochdruck- Quecksilberdampflampe mit 3 kW (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing Co.) belichtet. Der laminierte Schutzfilm wurde von der belichteten Platte entfernt, die Platte anschließend in n-Heptan eingetaucht und die Entwicklung mittels eines Entwicklerkissens durchgeführt.
- Der resultierende Druck wurde an einer Offsetpresse montiert (Komori Sprint 4 Color) und beschichtetes Papier unter Verwendung von "Driocolor"-Cyanfarbe (ein Produkt von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) bedruckt. Es wurden Drucke mit hervorragender Bildqualität erhalten, in denen 2-96% Punkte mit 150 Linien/Zoll wiedergegeben wurden.
- In einem weiteren Versuch wurde ein positiver Film mit einem Muster von 150 Linien/Zoll in engen Kontakt mit der obigen Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte gebracht und die aus einer Entfernung von 1 m 90 Sekunden lang mit einer Ultrahochdruck- Quecksilberdampflampe mit 3 kW (ein Produkt von Orc Manufacturing) belichtet, um eine Trockenflachdruckplatte zu erhalten. Danach wurde die Druckplatte an einer im Handel erhältlichen Rollenoffsetdruckpresse (LITHOPIA, ein Produkt von Mitsubishi. Heavy Industries, Ltd.) montiert und ein Haltbarkeitsversuch durchgeführt, indem holzfreies Papier mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 600 U/min unter Verwendung von "Driocolor"-Farben (schwarz, cyan, magenta und gelb, Produkte von Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc.) bedruckt wurde. Es wurden gute Drucke von 50.000 Kopien erhalten, doch ein weiterer Druckvorgang führte aufgrund von Fehlern auf der Plattenoberfläche zu Flecken.
- In letzter Zeit mußten im Handel erhältliche Offsetdruckpressen im Fall von Großbestellungen oft eine hohe Anzahl an Kopien drucken; das hier vorgegebene Ziel von 100.000 Kopien konnte nicht erreicht werden.
- Unter Verwendung der in Beispiel 4 erhaltenen Flachdruck-Ausgangsplatte wurden die Belichtung und Entwicklung in gleicher Weise wie in Beispiel 1 durchgeführt, um eine Trockenflachdruckplatte zu ergeben. Dann wurde die Druckplatte an einer Rollenoffsetpresse für Zeitungspapier (ein Produkt von Hamada Kikai Co.) montiert und ein Haltbarkeitsversuch durchgeführt, indem holziges Papier als Zeitungspapier mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 30.000 Kopien/h bedruckt wurde. Es wurden gute Drucke von 50.000 Kopien erhalten.
- In einem anderen Versuch wurden unter Verwendung der in Vergleichsbeispiel 1 erhaltenen Flachdruckplatten die Belichtung und Entwicklung in gleicher Weise wie in Vergleichsbeispiel 1 durchgefoihrt, um eine Trockenflachdruckplatte zu ergeben. Die Druckplatte wurde dann an einer Rollenoffset-Druckpresse für Zeitungspapier (ein Produkt von Hamada Kikai Co.) montiert und ein Haltbarkeitsversuch durch Bedrucken von holzigem Papier als Zeitungspapier mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 30.000 Kopien/h durchgeführt. Es wurden gute Drucke von 10.000 Kopien erhalten, doch zusätzliches Drucken bewirkte aufgrund von Papierstaub, der durch das Zeitungspapier entstand, Fehler und Flecken auf der Plattenoberfläche.
- Da in der erfindungsgemäßen Trockenflachdruckplatte die lichtempfindliche Schicht eine oben angeführte spezifische Zusammensetzung aufweist, sind die praktischen Auswirkungen hervorragend; beispielsweise sind die Haltbarkeit und Bildreproduzierbarkeit ausgezeichnet, selbst wenn die Druckplatte mit im Handel erhältlichen Rollenoffset-Druckpressen für Zeitungspapier verwendet wird, welche Anwendung sich bei herkömmlichen Trockenflachdruckplatten schwierig gestaltete.
Claims (12)
1. Trockenflachdruckplatte, umfassend ein Basissubstrat, eine lichtempfindliche
Schicht und eine Silikonkautschukschicht, wobei die lichtempfindliche Schicht und die
Silikonkautschukschicht nacheinander auf das Basissubstrat auflaminiert werden und die
lichtempfindliche Schicht ein Diamin-Derivat der folgenden allgemeinen Formel (1)
enthält:
worin R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3; und R&sub4; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder ein
Kohlenwasserstoff, ein substituierter Kohlenwasserstoff, eine Acyl- oder substituierte Acylgruppe mit 1
bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sind, R&sub5; und R&sub6; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder
eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sind und worin beliebige der Gruppen
R&sub5; und R&sub6; gegebenenfalls mit einer der beiden vom Sauerstoff entfernten oder zum
Sauerstoff benachbarten Methylengruppen (wie in Formel 1 dargestellt) in der Etherkette
verbunden sind, und n = 1 bis 50 ist.
2. Trockenflachdruckplatte, umfassend ein Basissubstrat, eine lichtempfindliche
Schicht und eine Silikonkautschukschicht, wobei die lichtempfindliche Schicht und die
Silikonkautschukschicht nacheinander auf das Basissubstrat auflaminiert sind und die
lichtempfindliche Schicht ein Diamin-Derivat der folgenden allgemeinen Formel (1):
worin R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3;, R&sub4;, R&sub5; und R&sub6; wie in Anspruch 1 definiert sind, und ein Diamin-Derivat
der folgenden allgemeinen Formel (2):
enthält, worin R&sub7;, R&sub8;, R&sub9; und R&sub1;&sub0; unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder ein
Kohlenwasserstoff, ein substituierter Kohlenwasserstoff, eine Acyl- oder substituierte
Acylgruppe mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sind und X eine zweiwertige Gruppe ist, die aus der
aus
bestehenden Gruppe ausgewählt ist und m = 1 bis 20 ist.
3. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, worin R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3; und R&sub4;
unabhängig voneinader Wasserstoff, Alkyl, Aryl, Acryloyl oder Methacryloyl sind.
4. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, worin R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3;, R&sub4;, R&sub7;, R&sub8;, R&sub9;
und R&sub1;&sub0; in den allgemeinen Formeln jeweils unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff,
Alkyl, Aryl, Acryloyl oder Methacryloyl sind.
5. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin 1 bis
4 der Gruppen R&sub1;, R&sub2;, R&sub3; und R&sub4; im Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (1) (eine)
Acryloyl- oder Methacryloyl-Gruppe(n) ist/sind.
6. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach Anspruch 5, worin etwaige übrige Gruppen R&sub1;, R&sub2;,
R&sub3; und R&sub4; im Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (1) ein oder mehrere
Wasserstoffatom(e) oder eine oder mehrere Kohlenwasserstoff- oder substituierte
Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe(n) ist/sind.
7. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin n im
Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (1) 1 bis 10 ist.
8. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin R&sub5;
und R&sub6; in der allgemeinen Formel (1) unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder Methyl
sind.
9. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 8, worin 1 bis 3 der
Gruppen R&sub7;, Ra, R&sub9; und R&sub1;&sub0; im Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (2) (eine)
Acryloyl- oder Methacryloyl-Gruppe(n) ist/sind.
10. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach Anspruch 9, worin etwaige übrige Gruppen R&sub7;, R&sub8;,
R&sub9; und R&sub1;&sub0; im Diamin-Derivat der allgemeinen Formel (2) ein oder mehrere
Wasserstoffatom(e) oder ein oder mehrere Kohlenwasserstoff- oder substituierte
Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe(n) ist/sind.
11. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin die
lichtempfindliche Schicht im wesentlichen aus 5 bis 70 Gewichtsteilen eines Diamin-
Derivats der allgemeinen Formel (1), 0 bis 70 Gewichtsteilen eines Diamin-Derivats der
allgemeinen Formel (2), 3 bis 50 Gewichtsteilen zumindest eines zusätzlichen,
photopolymerisierbaren, ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomers oder Oligomers, 20 bis 80
Gewichtsteilen eines Bindepolymers zur Formstabilität und 0,2 bis 20 Gewichtsteilen eines
Photosensibilisators besteht.
12. Trockenflachdruckplatte nach Anspruch 11, worin die lichtempfindliche Schicht
im wesentlichen aus 10 bis 50 Gewichtsteilen eines Diamin-Derivats der allgemeinen
Formel (1), 0 bis 50 Gewichtsteilen eines Diamin-Derivats der allgemeinen Formel (2), 5
bis 20 Gewichtsteilen zumindest eines zusätzlichen, photopolymerisierbaren,
ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomers oder Oligomers, 40 bis 70 Gewichtsteilen eines
Bindepolymers zur Formstabilität und 1 bis 18 Gewichtsteilen eines Photosensibilisators
besteht.
