Description
Bei Ventilen, bei denen die Strömung zwischen Ventilteller und Sitz im Sinne von innen nach außen verläuft, können die beim Durchfluß entstehenden Geräusche dadurch herabgesetzt werden, daß man die Ventilsitzfläche an ihrem Innenrande abrundet und sie nach außen über denjenigen Umfang hinaus, den sie haben müßte, wenn sie nur als Widerlager tür den Ventilteller zu dienen hätte, als bearbeitete, in der Strömungsrichtung nirgends erhabene Führungsfläche fortsetzt, an der der aus der Drosselstelle austretende Strahl durch Reibung abgebremst wird, und den Ventilteller so ausbildet, daß er sich scharfkantigFor valves in which the flow between the valve disc and seat in the sense of runs inside outwards, the noises generated during the flow can be caused by it be reduced that one rounds the valve seat surface at its inner edge and they outwardly beyond the extent that it would have to have if it were only used as an abutment for the valve disc would have to serve as machined, nowhere in the direction of flow Raised guide surface continues, on which the jet emerging from the throttle point passes through Friction is braked, and the valve disk is formed so that it is sharp-edged
Bei den größten Ventilöffnungen»5 separated from the sealing surface. Through this with small, medium and large amounts of water up to almost. Maximum amount of water achieved the desired noise reduction. At the largest valve openings
ao treten jedoch bisweilen Geräusche auf, die damit zusammenhängen, daß die Strömung am Ventilsitz dann anders verläuft, als bei dessen Formgebung vorausgesetzt wurde.ao, however, noises sometimes occur which are related to the fact that the flow then runs differently on the valve seat than was assumed when it was shaped.
In order to illustrate these circumstances, the section through the valve disk and the seat of a valve of the type mentioned is shown in Fig. Where: α the housing, b the feed pipe, c the \ "entilteller or the sealing disc, the valve stem, e d the seat The seat has f on fnnenrande the roundings and is continued to the outside as in the direction of flow a little hollow guide surface g. on which the jet spreads. The jet then exits into the housing space h . The roundings f are necessary in order to avoid noise-producing disturbances of the flow in the narrowest point of the flow path above the valve seat e in the case of small and medium-sized openings of the valve.
Sealing surfaces are generally the surfaces on the housing and on the valve disc in the area in which they touch when the valve is closed (sealing area). In "Fig. 2, the annular surface pieces on the housing and the valve disk lying between the diameters D x and D 2 are the sealing surface. The sharp edge with which the valve disk is separated from the sealing surface is denoted by k The surface g on the housing located on the housing 2 is the guide surface; it is hollow and accordingly, as mentioned at the beginning, not raised anywhere: The still permissible limit of a surface that is nowhere raised in the direction of flow is the flat guide surface according to Fig. 3. Fs is also permissible, with the reverse the arrangement to form the guide surface by continuing the sealing surface on the valve disc and to provide the sharp edge on the seat; Fig. 4 shows the reversal of the arrangement according to Fig. 2 with guide surface g ' and sharper
Edge V. On the other hand, a design according to Fig. 5 is not permitted. Here, the sealing surfaces are the annular surface pieces on the housing and valve disc lying between the diameters D 3 and Z) 4; the surface i adjoining the diameter D 4 on the outside is raised between the diameters D 4 and D 8 in the direction of flow, so it is not a guide surface that is not raised anywhere in the direction of flow; In the case of small valve openings, this leads to a detachment and ■ reapplication of the jet, which creates a loud noise; the valve disk is also set off with sharp edges - edge / -, but not from the sealing surface, but from a part of the lower surface of the valve disk that is not the sealing surface.
With the specified design of the valves, however, noiselessness is not without further measures achieved.
In the position of the valve disk shown in Fig. Ι, the valve lets through almost the same amount of water that results from a very large opening. In Fig. 6 the same valve is drawn with a large opening and the flow shape is indicated. Now the cross-section of the supply pipe b is the smallest flow cross-section, and the roundings / prevent a smooth detachment of the jet emerging from the supply pipe. The sticking of the beam to the curve results in local negative pressures and, as a result, cavitation and noise. For this position of the A ^ entiltellers sharp edges were be necessary at the inner edge of the seat instead of rounding f, to avoid the generation of noise. However, because of the flow, they cannot be carried out in small and medium-sized openings.
Since the valve at the opening shown in Fig. 1 already has almost the same amount of water lets through as with the very large opening shown in Fig. 6, the disturbance would be Eliminate without major disadvantage through a precise stroke limitation for the valve disc can. However, a stroke limitation is undesirable or practical in some cases not executable. This case is z. B. in the water main taps, because their Execution is generally too imprecise for this and especially because of the thickness the sealing washers made of flexible building material is not precisely determined and changes gradually with use suffers.
The gluing of the beam to the rounded edges / with large valve openings and the resulting occurrence, local pressure-So Reductions cannot be avoided with valves of the type mentioned. The gluing of the jet is in itself indifferent, and the local pressure reductions are only therefore harmful because they cause cavitation, which is always too loud noises - leads. According to the present invention, the occurrence of valves of the type mentioned Avoided cavity formation by an additional throttling the pressure in the housing space and the flow rate artificially increased in the outlet line is limited.
On the other hand, installing a throttle device alone, without the others specified measures, noiselessness not achieved. Because the flow resistance of all throttle devices practically in question is the square of the flow rate proportional. So it becomes very small with small flow rates and thus loses virtually any influence on cavitation. By installing eyier throttling in the outlet line of an ordinary valve are therefore in the case of small openings Noise not suppressed.
In the new water pipe valves, the throttling effect of the throttle device is expediently made stronger than it is, for example, in the known jet regulators for water pipe taps; if the throttling effect is increased, the guide surface can be reduced. In order to avoid splashing of the exiting beam, so is at the water line taps the throttle device expedient 95 ■ into moved moderately so far into the interior of the discharge line, that the au-s the individual 'openings emerging rays by \ r Ennis chung with' the adjacent ^ Totwasser lose their energy before exiting the discharge line. One embodiment of this arrangement is shown in FIG. The throttling in the outlet pipe takes place through the disc w; provided with holes, to which the relatively long outlet piece η is connected. If the outlet piece η is made long enough, it is also possible to effect the throttling through a relatively small number of correspondingly large holes in the disk m without the outlet becoming too restless. This avoids blockages of the throttle device due to foreign bodies carried along by the water, which often lead to malfunctions in the usual jet regulators equipped with wire sashes. It has been found, moreover, to be expedient, conical holes - they narrow in the direction of flow - ■ and form with a sharp outlet edge.
Ein The throttle device can also be designed in two or more stages. A
