Man
Asphalte, Petrolpech, Montanpech, Stearinpech, Buchenholzpech, Steinkohlenpech,
Process @ for enriching raw asphalt, z. B. lime with

In contrast, the present invention is a method
for enriching raw asphalt stone, e.g. bituminous lime on asphalt mastic,
Parquet asphalt; Asphalt paving, rammed asphalt, mastic asphalt, etc., with bitumen.
A large number of raw asphalt rocks are not very rich in bitumen, some
Rock contains 5 to 6% of this. For this reason, the rock has to be used for production
of rammed asphalt, mastic asphalt, etc. still with Bi-. gymnastics are enriched. Man
uses natural and artificial as an enrichment agent depending on the intended use
Asphalt, petroleum pitch, montan pitch, stearin pitch, beech wood pitch, coal pitch,
Brown coal pitch, earth pitch, resins, tar and like bitumen. The enrichment of the
raw asphalt with bitumen was done so far in such a way that the raw asphalt
is ground into flour. The stone meal is then put into agitators and cooked through
indirect steam heated to about too to i2o °. The required amount of bitumen
is then liquefied by heating and added to the heated stone meal. at
In this process, the stone dust and bitumen aggregate to a greater or lesser extent
large lumps together, which through constant stirring in the course of time
become smaller, but a large number of lumps still remain. the end
For this reason you had to cool the mass outside the agitators and the mixed product.
In order to achieve an intimate mixture, let another grinder pass: Zur

if the bitumen is used in a finely atomized state. The manufacture of
fine bitumen dust can be produced in any known manner, e.g. B. by means of scatter or
Atomizer nozzles. The finely atomized bitumen powder is then immediately
added to the heated asphalt rock. In this way of working, the stirring work
significantly shortened and a lump formation does not occur, so that a repeated
There is no need to grind the mixed product.

You can also use an even more intimate mixture of asphalt and bitumen

Asphalt stone is fed in at the same time as the bitumen, which is then atomized together
and blows directly onto the asphalt.
gelangt. This can advantageously be finely atomized with the aid of a nozzle
Bitumen, possibly mixed with a small amount of powdery asphalt,
are blown into the mixing drum against the freely falling asphalt rock in such a way that
that the liquid bitumen by a pump in a pressure vessel with reducing valve
is brought to the desired uniform overpressure, from which it is after the scattering nozzle
got.
