Abstract

The fan assembly has an inlet cowl (15) with a first circuit diagram of the system portion and a tapered portion containing the fan (2) and the guide vanes (3) to straighten the airflow (S). The fan may have a flat hub (1) and is followed by the fixed guide vanes and a protective mesh screen (4). The vanes and screen may support the electric motor (6) which is positioned immediately downstream of the fan. The airflow straightening vanes are shaped to form a cellular structure.
