Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a metal foil web and a plastic film web containing film composite, in which the two film webs each in the longitudinal direction of the film webs in the same Repetitive intervals and at adjacent points in the film have laminated punched structures, the pre-punched metal foil web and the plastic foil web from each end away be joined together. The invention further relates to a device for the production of a metal foil web and a plastic foil web Repeating film composite with itself at regular intervals the punching structures, which are a feed and guide device for the foil enverbund, a joining device for firmly connecting the two film webs and feed and guide devices for bringing together and closing has joining of the two film webs.
From NO-92/15118 it is known to use two foil webs, the punch marks have to bring together so that the punch marks of one Foil sheet are arranged in the same place of the film composite as that Punching marks on the second film web. This is the location of the punch mark monitored and a possible offset between the punch marks compensated by measuring the size of this offset and ent speaking of this size, the two film webs before joining them with one different temperature to be caused by the thereby different expansion of the two film webs to compensate for the offset chen. In addition, a film web can be subjected to tensile stress be, so that the resulting stretch of this film web to compensate of the offset. Such a process requires a high appara tive effort to the different temperature exposure of the two Realize film webs and to ensure that the required Temperature changes can be made in a very short time to the Ab cut the film composite, which has this offset, as small as possible to be able to hold. The one for such a regulation about temperature changes or The control loop required via tensile stresses is very complicated and usually inert. Furthermore, it is problematic to put two foils under such a conditions to be firmly connected to one another, since after the Tensile force or after adjusting the temperatures of the two film webs in this film composite thermomechanical tensions between the two films webs are likely to occur, which can lead to the fact that the film composite deformed or that the two sheets of film come apart.
Furthermore, the so-called TAB process (Tape Automatic Bonding) be knows. A plastic film web is used as a pre-punched carrier film used, on which a metal foil is applied. The metal structure is then produced by chemical etching.
Derived from the prior art described above, there is Object of the present invention is to provide a method with which a pre-punched plastic foil tape with a pre-punched metal foil tape can be laminated together in such a way that the lowest possible Effort the offset between the structures of the two film strips as possible is kept low. The object of the present invention continues to exist in specifying an apparatus for performing this method.
According to the invention, the task for the initially characterized method solved in that the position of Position markings of the punching structure lying against the plastic film web Doors of the metal foil web is scanned one after the other and after reaching a punched structure in a predetermined position of the position markings the area of the plastic film located in front of the point of contact web is introduced at a distance from the predetermined position, the corresponds to an integer multiple of the distance at which the punch Repeat structures in the metal foil web. With this procedure the Position of each punch structure in the metal foil web determined and this Posi tion is transferred to the plastic film web in a kind of copying process, the punching of the plastic film web being carried out at such a distance, that the stamping structures of the two film webs after joining the Foil webs are arranged at the same point in the film composite. Of the Offset between the structures of the metal foil web and the plastic film lienbahn is then only determined by tolerances in the distance between the scanning point and the location of the punching of the plastic film. The This distance can be reduced to only a few multiples of the distance in which the stamping structures of the metal foil web repeat. Thereby and by precisely determining the location of the punching of the plastic film web can the accuracy of the position of the punched structures in the plastic Fo Increase railways almost arbitrarily. In this method, only the Beginning of the plastic film web, namely on the route between the first Position marker and the location of the punch, no punch structure, so that only the part of the finished film corresponding to this first piece composite must be discarded.
The plastic film web is advantageously at least partially, näm Lich in its initial area in a length that is the distance between the Corresponds to the scanning point and the location of the punching, before bringing the Provide film webs with markings, the position of which corresponds to the position of the the metal foil sheet corresponds. This can be done, for example happen that this first section of the plastic film web in the same Chen punching device in which the structure of the metal foil web is punched, is provided with the markings also used for the metal foil web, those as position markings, i.e. as the markings that come together bring the film webs are scanned, find use. Because of that by possible scanning of corresponding position markings of both Film webs can already detect an offset during the scanning process be made by changing the location of the punching of the plastic film can be compensated.
The foil webs are expediently ver together after scanning sticks, as this causes the two different coefficients of thermal expansion entent film webs are heated only after the scanning process (As a rule, the bonding is advantageously carried out under the influence of heat). This prevents the two film webs from being scanned or between the scanning and the location of the punching of the plastic film web can be expanded differently and thus inaccuracies when merging against the two film webs.
The accuracy of the joining of the two film webs can thereby further be increased that after the foil webs are brought together, the punching structure structures of the film webs are optically monitored and that when exceeded a predetermined deviation in the position of the stamping structures of the plastic fo the distance from the position of the stamping structures of the metal foil web between the sensed predetermined position and that by a punch corrected characterized location of punching the plastic film sheet corrected becomes. This correction can be done manually by an operator or through a automatic regulation take place in that the punching tool by the amount of the offset is adjusted in the corresponding direction. You can both corrections in the running direction of the film webs as well as perpendicular to it be performed.
It is expedient that circular position markings of the stamping structures the metal foil track scanned and with the position from before each other of the film web into the circular punchings made in the plastic film web be compared, their arrangement on the plastic film of the arrangement the circular position markings of the stamping structures on the metal foil lienbahn corresponds. The scanning can expediently by means of a mandrel respectively. The scanning or comparison of circular structures is much easier and leads to clearer results than with the Scanning other shapes is possible. In principle, however, there are also others Shapes such as rectangles or triangles are possible as position markers. The The shape of the mandrel is advantageously the shape of the position markings customized.
The object on which the invention is based is characterized by the above Based device solved in that behind the place of bringing together of the two film webs a scanning device for detecting the position of the Stamping structure of the metal foil web is arranged and that this scanning device with a trigger one before the location of bringing the two together Foil sheets arranged punching tool is coupled, the distance of the Scanning device from the punch tool an integer multiple of Ab corresponds in which the stamping structures of the metal foil web are like derholen. The position of the stamping structure in the plastic film web is thereby determined by the position of the stamping structure in the metal foil web, so that a offset-free contact in the film composite is guaranteed. A Any misalignment of the two film webs can be determined early and caused by Adjustment of the punching tool can be corrected.
It is expedient for the scanning device to include a feed device tet, so that the scanning process can be coupled with the feed.
It is advantageous that between the place of bringing the two the film webs and the scanning device a monitor for optical control the punching structures is arranged. The monitor can be a device for measurement of deviations between the position of the punching structure Ren the metal foil sheet and the plastic film sheet included and at Über an adjustment mechanism of the Trigger punch to readjust the position of the punch so that the deviation determined on the monitor can be compensated. It is for that expedient that the punching tool has an adjusting device which Adjustment of the punching tool in the running direction of the film webs and / or across for this (x and y direction) and that the monitor can be adjusted direction of the punch is connected. It is also possible that on Moni Deviation measured by manual adjustment of the position to compensate for the punching tool.
It is advantageous that the scanning device has a mandrel as a scanning element contains. With such a mandrel, it is possible in a relatively simple manner the position of the punching structures.
Die Zeichnung zeigt inThe invention based on an embodiment and a Drawing explained in more detail. The drawing shows in

Fig. 2 das Aneinanderführen der Folienbahnen. Fig. 2 the bringing together of the film webs.
Metal foil web 1 and plastic foil web 2 are fed separately to produce the film composite 3 of the device according to the invention ( FIG. 1). The metal foil web is located on a supply roll 4 . It is already pre-cut, that is to say they already contains its associated punching structural structure 5 including the punch of each structure 5 associated circular positioning mark. 6 About a feed roller 7 and a guide roll 8 , the metal foil web 1 is fed to a monitor 9 past the Tastvor direction 10 . The scanning device 10 also serves as a thrust device. The plastic film web 2 is also on a supply roll 4 . The beginning of the plastic film web 2 was in the From, which corresponds to the distance between the scanning device 10 and the punching tool 11 , provided with circular position markings 6 , the location of which on the plastic film web 2 the position of the circular position markings 6 on the Metal foil web 1 corresponds. These circular posi tion markings 6 of the plastic film web 2 are made with the same punching device, not shown in the drawing, in which the punching structures 5 have been introduced into the metal foil web 1 . This punching in the plastic film web 2 was , however, only for the purpose of introducing the circular position markings 6 . No other punching structures were introduced.
The plastic film web 2 is also fed via guide rollers 8 past the punching tool 11 and the monitor 9 to the scanning device 10 , through which the feed also takes place. The protective film 12 originally present on the plastic film web 2 is wound onto a disposal roll 13 before the passage of the plastic film web 2 through the punching tool 11 .
Plastic film web 2 and metal film web 1 are arranged one above the other when the two film webs are introduced into the scanning device 10 with their position markings 6 . With the help of the monitor 9 , the position of the two film webs is checked and a possible offset between the two film webs is determined, so that the arrangement of the punch 11 can be readjusted if necessary. The punch 11 is an integer multiple of the distance at which the punch structures 5 repeat on the Metallfo lienbahn 1 , arranged away from the scanning device 10 . The scanning device 10 contains a mandrel, which is not shown in the drawing for reasons of better clarity, as the scanning element. Decisive for the distance between the scanning device 10 and the punch 11 is the distance between the mandrel and the punch element of the punch 11 , which punches the circular position markings 6 in the plastic film web 2 . In the example shown, the stamping structures 5 of the film webs are repeated at a distance of approximately 57 mm. The distance between the scanning device 10 and the punch 11 consequently corresponds to an integral multiple of this distance. The approximately 8-12 times distance has proven to be favorable. By scanning the film webs in the scanning device 10 and the control of the offset in the monitor 9 , it is possible to limit the actually generated offset to a minimum, since this offset is essentially only dependent on the possibly inaccuracy of the arrangement of the Punching tool 11 . Since the distance between the monitor 9 and the punching tool 11 can be kept very small (the monitor 9 is arranged between the punching tool 11 and the scanning device 10 ), the inaccuracies can be determined very quickly and either after checking the set in the monitor 9 manually correct or it is also possible to couple the monitor 9 in a control loop with the punch 11 and to automatically implement the readjustment of the punch 11 that may become necessary. With such an arrangement, it is possible to reduce the offset between the individual stamping structures 5 of the two film webs to less than 50 μm.
Since both the supply rolls 4 and the punch 11 , the monitor 9 and the scanning device 10 can be arranged in an air-conditioned room, inaccuracies caused by temperature fluctuations can be avoided.
In the method, the position of position markings 6 in the tall foil sheet 1 is determined and the position of the stan in the plastic sheet 2 is determined according to this position.
In Fig. 2 the bringing together of the two sheets of film is shown. The beginning of the film composite, which is not occupied by stamping structures 5 in the plastic film web 2 , has been omitted. The punching structures 5 of the two film webs are placed against one another in the process and the offset between the two is minimized by means of the position markings 6 , as described above.
After the film webs have passed through the scanning device 10 , the film webs are fed to the joining device 14 by means of the feed device of the scanning device 10 , in which the two film webs are attached to one another in approximately 1 to 2 seconds at approximately 170 ° C. The Folienbah NEN are guided by guide pins, not shown in the drawing, which engage in the circular position marks 6 of the film webs. Through this guidance by means of the guide pins, the guide is advantageously carried out by at least two guide pins, it is prevented that the fo lienbahnen distort during assembly in their position. The film webs attached in the joining device 14 are fed via guide rollers 8 in a loose loop 15 to the laminating device 16 , in which the two film webs are firmly bonded to one another in about 30 seconds at about 180 ° C. to form a film composite 3 . Both gluing processes are clocked, the guidance of the film webs in a loose loop 15 between the joining device 14 and the laminating device 16 compensates for the different cycle times. Coming out of the laminating device 16 , the film composite 3 is fed to the end roll 18 by a feed unit 17 . Dulen before further processing of the composite film 3, for example, to IC card Mo, only the first piece of the composite film 3 by a distance corresponding to the distance between the scanning device 10 and the punch 11, are cut off and discarded must. This length is about 0.5 m in the selected example and is almost negligibly small with possible lengths of the film composite 3 from 100 to 200 m.
