B. schwer ausrottbares Unkraut, wie Wegerich usw., selbst wenn dasselbe nur mit einer stark verdünnten Lösung von Amylacetat besprengt wird, in zwei bis drei Wochen zugrunde geht. Die Dämpfe des Amylacetats, welche durch Verdunsten bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur :entstehen, halten die Insekten fern. Um das Verdunsten des Amylacetats zu verlängern, wird dasselbe mit Bindemitteln, wie z. B. Fetten, Ölen, Wachsen, Harzen, Seifen, Paraffin, Vaselin usw., gemischt bzw. in diese eingeschlossen, oder es werden poröse Körper, wie z. B.
