Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for detection and processing of operating sizes of a facility, in particular of operating variables of an internal combustion engine and / or one Internal combustion engine downstream exhaust gas purification device, according to the preamble of the independent claims.
There are methods and devices for recording and Processing of company sizes of a facility, in particular of Operating variables of an internal combustion engine, known, one electronic control unit fed the detected operating variables and are only processed in this for control purposes. The continuous recording has the disadvantage that an evaluation the recorded company sizes is complex. With a distinction a statement is made after correct and faulty company size (Assessment) what circumstances lead to a faulty company size led, not possible.
The invention is based, a method and a task Device for recording and processing operating variables of a Device, in particular of operating parameters of an internal combustion engine and / or a downstream of an internal combustion engine Specify the exhaust gas purification device by means of which Data can be recorded and processed, with an assessment of the Data is possible.
This object is achieved in that a method for recording and Processing plant sizes of a facility, whereby Operating variables recorded and an electronic control unit that the Operation of the facility as a function of the recorded operating variables controls or regulates, are fed, characterized in that the operating variables are stored in a memory of the control unit and the storage of at least one company size in Dependency of a predefinable operating state of the device is carried out. This procedure (in the following using the example an internal combustion engine) has the advantage that at large Amount of data, such as for controlling the operation of a Internal combustion engine are required, the storage only then is carried out when a specifiable or a certain Be drive state of the internal combustion engine is present. The storage or Processing of at least two company sizes of the facility (Internal combustion engine) has the advantage that an evaluation of the stored data or the operating variables is possible. So is for example a value assigned to a speed (for example a Oil pressure value) correctly, while a high at this speed higher or lower value represents an error. Beyond that it is possible to save min at least two operating variables one diagnosis or one earlier error perform identification. For the operating parameters of the internal combustion engine machines are essentially sizes such as speed, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, a fuel-air ratio nis (with an Otto engine) or around a position of a control rod one Injection pump (in a diesel engine) or generally by sizes that on an internal combustion engine itself and / or on its components (e.g. exhaust gas turbocharger, catalytic converter or particle filter) measurable are. The operating variables supplied to the electronic control unit can be checked for plausibility or before processing in the control unit Errors are checked (e.g. defect of a sensor, interruption or short circuit of a sensor lead.
In a further development of the invention, the operation is saved sizes when a predeterminable value of a first operation is available size of the internal combustion engine and is available with the presence of a enterable value of a further operating variable of the internal combustion engine ended, at least the predeterminable value of the first operating variable represents the operating status. It is possible that depending the area of application or the application of the internal combustion engine different start and end conditions for storing the Be drive sizes can be determined. For example, one first operating variable by the speed of the internal combustion engine. If after the start of the internal combustion engine, the speed is a predetermined Value (for example, idle speed) has been reached, playback begins Saving the data (both the storage of the speed and the Storage of at least one other company size). If e.g. B. the Power supply to the control unit as a further operating variable Internal combustion engine is defined, the storage of the Operating variables ended when the power supply was switched off becomes. It is therefore possible for large amounts of data to be recorded can, since only those data are saved that are of importance are and are meaningful. It is also conceivable that the first and the further farm size by a single farm size acts. For example, the Ab storage performed while below idle speed no storage takes place. If the specified values are available, the data (company variables) are recorded (continuously or dis continuously), with the discontinuous recording Sampling rate is constant or can be specified. Thereby the registration and ab storage as well as the sampling rate especially from a Pro dynamics, the function of the control unit and the capacity of the Saving dependent. Process dynamics is understood to mean that Operating variables that change quickly over time (such as the speed) in smaller predeterminable time intervals can be recorded and saved as such company sizes that change only slightly over time (such as the oil temperature). The storage of such farm sizes can be done in longer periods take place.
In a further development of the invention, the operations to be saved sizes in a memory location of at least two dimensions len memory with a predetermined number of storage locations saves. This ensures that every single recorded operation size is stored in a memory location so that at a late Ren evaluation on the recorded farm sizes can be used can. These saved operating variables can then be saved in a late linked evaluation and correlated be, so that a statement about an error-free or faulty Operation of a system, in particular an internal combustion engine, possible is. Depending on the tendency of the saved quantities (e.g. continuous Rise or fall during system operation) is also early error detection possible. So when using the Method on an internal combustion engine or a particle filter system a diesel internal combustion engine in time for maintenance wear is detected and the event of a fault is prevented. In addition, the method according to the invention leads to a needs-based maintenance by using only such components exchanged or repaired, which leads to an impairment or lead to an error.
In a further development of the invention, at least partially Occupancy of the memory locations a predefinable number of occupied memories put together and abge in an unused memory location saves. This procedure has the advantage that - in addition to the processing Processing and storage of large amounts of data - data on one large period recorded and in a memory with predetermined and limited storage capacity can be saved. The Summary of storage locations or the summary of Sizes that are stored in these storage locations are such that the summarized data remain meaningful. As an example called that when using the method according to the invention an internal combustion engine the operating variables such as speed, pressures or Temperatures by averaging or by minimal / Maximum value formation can be summarized. Such a from for example, two values of the same size combined is then saved to an unused storage location.
In a further embodiment of the invention, when all are occupied Storage locations at least partially use the occupied storage locations storage of the following and recorded operating variables Approved. This ensures that when the Storage capacity of both a variety of summarized data (whereby the summary can be repeated several times) as well a set of current company sizes is available with which one Evaluation of the recorded and stored data is possible.
In a further development of the invention, the operating variables in the detection checked for plausibility and when leaving a permissible Generated a signal representing an error. At this signal is a value instead of the detected one faulty operating size (e.g. due to the failure of a sensor or other interferences) is stored in a storage location. In order to it can be determined whether the recording of a company size is only temporary suspended or whether there is a permanent failure to record. In addition, it is conceivable that the Acquisition of a farm size the value based on the previous one Acquisition of the company size is interpolated. It is also conceivable display the stored value directly or as part of a Read maintenance work from memory. Because of the generation The value ensures that, for example, if a Sensors for the acquisition of a company variable the acquisition of the other Company sizes is feasible. The review has the advantage that only error-free signals of the operating variables are recorded and stored will. Due to the generation of a fault Signals is an early indication of a defect in the Given internal combustion engine, so that, for. B. a maintenance job can be carried out as quickly as possible to avoid damage.
In a development of the invention, the stored Operating variables at least partially with predetermined target values compared and a signal representing the comparison result is generated. This has - analogous to the procedure described so far The advantage that if a permissible value range is exceeded with With the help of the generation of the signal representing the comparison result additional company variables are saved (especially in one further memory) to evaluate whether the exceeding of the permissible value range represents an error or a certain correct condition of the internal combustion engine corresponds.
In a development of the invention, the operating state of the Internal combustion engine divided into sections and the acquisition and Storage of the company variables for the individual sub-areas performed separately. In the partial areas of the operating state of the Internal combustion engines are areas such as No load, part load or full load or even idle or overrun (e.g. with a vehicle). To evaluate the present Company sizes in the individual subareas are recorded Operating variables, for example, stored in separate memories, so that an evaluation for these separate areas is possible. Alternatively this also includes the assignment of a time variable (for example using a Counter or a real time clock) possible so that ascertainable and how long the internal combustion engine can be evaluated in which Subareas has been operated. This is a far-reaching and differentiated evaluation of the operating states of the internal combustion engine guaranteed.
In a continuing embodiment of the invention, the stored operating parameters via an interface of the read electronic control unit and for maintenance of the Internal combustion engine used. Due to the reading of the Stored operating variables can, for example, be one Operator in case of maintenance (inspection) Notes on faulty Components are given. When using an expert system It is particularly with the help of an appropriately designed Software possible, the saved operating parameters graphically to represent and a logical link of the company sizes make so that defects are recognized and also due to the Evaluation evidence of an abnormal condition of the Internal combustion engine or one of its components are given.
It should also be pointed out that the method is generally for Collection and processing of data in the event of wear underlying device, applicable. A preferred one The field of application of the method according to the invention is detection and processing of operating sizes of internal combustion engines, wherein it can be both petrol and diesel engines. A Another special area of application of the method is detection and processing of operating parameters that are required for a burner, especially in a burner of a diesel particle filter system or with the entire system. The application of the The method according to the invention enables in particular a unattended operation, convenient maintenance, an increase in shutdown reliability as well as a reduction in maintenance costs and the Avoiding total failures on one system or on one Facility.

A/D-Wandler) einer Recheneinheit 4.0 zugeführt. Fig. 1 shows an apparatus for detecting operating parameters of an internal combustion engine, wherein the apparatus is applicable to the inventive method. An electronic control unit 1 detects the operating variables of the internal combustion engine (not shown) via a plurality of sensor inputs 2 (sensors). The signals detected at the sensor inputs 2 are fed to a computing unit 4.0 via an interface 3 (for example an A / D converter). A memory 4.1 is assigned to the computing unit 4.0 , the memory organization of the memory 4.1 being explained in more detail using a preferred exemplary embodiment in FIG. 2. The electronic control unit 1 with the sensor inputs 2 is part of a complex control device which is assigned to the internal combustion engine (and / or a diesel particle filter system). In addition, an independent (module-like) design of the electronic control unit 1 for recording and storing the operating variables is also conceivable. The electronic control unit 1 is constantly or, if necessary, assigned an evaluation unit 5 via a further interface 6 . The evaluation unit 5 is, for example, an expert system that can be connected, for example, as part of normal maintenance. In addition, in a preferred embodiment, the electronic control unit 1 is connected to an output unit 8 with the interposition of a comparison unit 7 . This arrangement has the advantage that when at least one operating variable leaves a permissible range of values, the comparison unit 7 determines that it has left (comparison with predefinable limit values or limit ranges) and the output unit 8 emits a warning signal. This can be done in particular in optical or acoustic form.

Such a ring or matrix memory is provided for each storage of a recorded operating variable. The respective lines of the memory 4 . 1 are designated with the index m and the respective columns of the memory (storage locations) 4.1 with the index n. The capacity of the memory 4 is based on the choice of the memory rows m and the memory columns n. 1 selectable within wide limits.
Fig. 3 zeigt einen Abspeichervorgang einer Betriebsgröße. Fig. 3 shows a storing process an operating variable. For the simultaneous storage of further operating variables, the memory 4.1 is provided multiple times or is multidimensional. Depending on a predeterminable operating state of the internal combustion engine (for example, the detected speed is above an idling speed value), at least one further operating variable of the internal combustion engine is recorded and stored. The further operating variable detected at predeterminable time intervals is stored one after the other on the zero to third memory location of the first memory line of the memory 4.1 . After the zero memory line is occupied, a predeterminable number of occupied memory locations is combined and stored in an unused memory location. FIG. 3 shows in a zeroth memory line that the zeroth and first memory location are combined and the combined value is stored on the zero memory location of the first memory line (font A). The zeroth and first memory location of the zeroth memory line are thus free, so that further recorded data relating to the operating size can be stored thereon. The second and third memory locations of the zero memory line are then combined, the combined value being stored on the first memory location of the first memory line. The zero line of memory is thus free and further operating variables can be recorded and stored. If the zeroth memory line is occupied after a new run, the storage locations are summarized analogously to steps A and B, the combined values being stored in the second storage location (step C) and in the third storage location (step D) of the first storage line. If memory line 1 is occupied, an analog summary and storage of the summarized values is carried out according to steps E and F in the next memory line (memory line 2 ). The memory 4 shown in FIG. 3. 1 has three rows of memory and four columns of memory (memory locations). In the process described, two storage locations are always combined in a suitable manner. The number of memory rows and memory columns and the number of memory locations to be summarized is arbitrary and can be adapted to the circuitry and existing conditions. The capacity (storage duration) of a memory line can be calculated from the acquisition time of the operating variables, ie the time after which a further operating variable is recorded, and from the number of memory columns. From this storage period, using the number of storage columns, the capacity of the entire storage 4 . 1 predictable.
In addition, it is conceivable that not only a single operating variable is stored on each memory location, but that several operating variables can be stored in one memory location in a correspondingly coded form (for example in a bit structure). This can be done, for example, in such a way that the operating variables recorded in analog form are converted into digital data, the converted data being combined in a bit word, the individual bit words being stored in the individual memory locations of the appropriately configured memory 4 . 1 are discardable. The method according to the invention can also be applied to this.
