Durch den Gegenstand der Erfindung soll es ermöglicht werden, bei

eines doppelt so großen Schaltrades abwälzt, wobei letzteres derart schaltbar ist,
daß in der einen Stellung der Kulissenstein den vollen Hub auf die Nadelstange und
in der anderen Stellung durch Vierteldrehung der Kulissenstein einen Leerhub in
der Kulisse der Nadelstange ausführt. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Erfindung besteht
darin, daß durch Zwischenstellungen des Schaltrades die geradlinige Bewegungsbahn
verschiedene Schrägstellungen einnimmt, wodurch der Kulissenstein durch seine schräge
Bewegung der senkrecht geführten Nadelstange nur die senkrechte Bewegungskomponente
.erteilt und deren Hub gemäß den durch die Jacquardkarte gesteuerten Verdrehungen
des Schaltrades verändert wird, so daß beispielsweise beim Bohren und Stüpfeln die
Bohrtiefe automatisch' reguliert werden kann. Zu diesem Zwecke -ist am Ende der
