Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a plant for biological treatment of wastewater according to the preamble of claim 1.
U. Pfriemer Verlag, Wiesbaden u. Berlin, o. J., S. 17). "Bei allen in Be trieb befindlichen Anlagen erweist sich die hydraulische Funk tion als größtes ungelöstes Problem" (H. Kraft, a.a.O., S. 28).Processes and plants for the treatment of waste water with the help of Aquatic or swamp plants in sealed earth basins have been around the basic work of K. Seidel (1964) and R. Kickuth (1971). Even if by numerous processes variant improvements to the original solutions plant purification plants have so far not counted among the "generally recognized rules of technology" (K. Bucksteeg in: Plant sewage treatment plants - construction and operation of plants for water and wastewater treatment using aquatic plants. U. Pfriemer Verlag, Wiesbaden a. Berlin, undated, p. 17). "With everyone in Be hydraulic systems tion as the biggest unsolved problem "(H. Kraft, op. cit., p. 28).
In their original training were the plant clarification plants conditions for a horizontal waste water flow within the Root space of the plants surrounding the soil body. It However, it has been observed that the wastewater can also be least resistance, partly above ground in rivulets can flow, which reduces the cleaning effect (W. Ebeling, op. Cit., P. 84). This experience has a. led to, that multiple plant pools for wastewater treatment with vertical Flow direction have been proposed (AS DE 12 46 598, PS DE 37 12 419). In OS DE 32 44 787 a plant clarification plant described in which the wastewater in several terraced arranged basins alternating from top to bottom and vice versa flows through the separate pools. In addition to high construction costs for the pools to be manufactured in solid construction and for the Pipelines here is the large drop in gradient that occurs in the overall system disadvantageous, this solution with flat terrain design either completely excludes or only with high construction expenses for the terracing and permanent subsidy costs allowed to realize ge pump operation. Essential intention the latter solution is the uniform flow of the ge entire body of the floor, which is therefore completely suitable for the process the cleaning effect inherent in the sewage treatment plants becomes.
The invention has for its object the known After parts in the hydraulic function of previously built plants to avoid wastewater treatment plants without this goal with only one great construction and operating costs is achieved. To do this, the Invention on the original simple pelvic constructions, as suggested by K. Seidel or R. Kickuth, back. The wastewater treatment plant is then reduced to one sealed earth basin filled with soil and vegetation grew, in which he is all for biological wastewater treatment play required operations. It can be seen that against over a complicated multi-pool operation the advantages of a fold and cheap construction and operation in the original intended form are retained.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that in plants basin transverse to the horizontal flow direction are arranged, whereby the horizontal directional component of the Flow additionally forced vertical directional components will. The guidance devices are alternating in the lower part and arranged in the upper part of the basin. But you can only be present in the lower or only in the upper part of the pelvis. The guidance devices in the lower part of the basin can also be made of egg nem cohesive soil, while the rest of the pool fill consists of non-cohesive soil. In particular, the guidelines directions made of flat-workable materials such as wood, Plastic, metal, concrete, masonry, flat waste products manufactured. They can also have openings that are part allow flow through the guide. The area guidance devices are either perpendicular or with egg ner inclination that is up to 45 ° against the perpendicular can, arranged. Guidance devices in the upper part of the pool should protrude the floor filling by 50 to 200 mm if you have the time laying on planks, rusting etc. should serve, what for planting, harvesting and maintenance on the Plant basin is useful. Leave the upper guidance devices also keep away from straps that extend the pelvis lengthways span so that the control devices together with these Form side members a support grate.
With the arrangement of guidance devices in plants basin effect improvement in the even and complete flow through the floor is naturally a full one Utilization of the soil including the plant root area for the biotic and abioti causing wastewater treatment processes. Another advantage is the fact to see that the wastewater alternating upper and lower areas of the soil body, which has a different content of Have atmospheric oxygen, with aerobic and anaerobic areas in the water-saturated soil can be found. At the far going wastewater treatment with nutrient elimination is the change from aerobic and anaerobic areas is a prerequisite biological nitrogen removal (nitrification and denitrification phase). By the possibility of removal of dissolved nutrients from wastewater, which are common in the Plant wastewater treatment plants are assessed as low to moderate (H. Buck steeg, op. cit., p. 17), occurs as a result of the means according to the invention Control devices forced flow of wastewater through area surface of the soil, which alternates with nitrifying or denitrifying bacteria are a desirable one additional nutrient breakdown.
So far, it was considered a difficult problem to solve that the soil body must not be compacted (G. Geller, loc. cit., p. 101). On the other hand, however, the pool surface accessible for planting and harvesting crops be. By means of a construction and design corresponding to this purpose they can be arranged as supports use for walkable planks, grates or similar. This will make the floor compaction switched off due to walking on the pool surface. Guiding devices protruding upwards from the floor also prevent the above-ground drainage of dirt and Re backwater in the plant pool.
By choosing the number and arrangement of the control devices the ratio of horizontal and vertical rich tion component of the wastewater flow within certain limits ieren. But it can also be through openings in the Leiteinrich tions for a predetermined by the size of these openings Ren portion of the wastewater flow of the horizontal directional compo Give priority to vertical flow, whereby the hydraulic function of the plant basin in the desired sin ne can be influenced.
The scheme of a plant for the biological treatment of wastewater in a soil-filled and marshy basin with the arrangement according to the invention, which impose a vertical flow on the horizontal flow direction of the wastewater, is shown using the example of FIG. 1. At the same time, the operation of the system is described.
The wastewater enters through the inlet pipes 1 and a running gate 2 , which is divided by vertical guide walls 3 , into the floor body 4 . It flows in the predominantly horizontal direction of flow until it strikes the first guide device 5 . According to the hydraulic rules for a potential flow, the wastewater is forced to flow predominantly vertically downwards; it flows under the first guide device until it meets the next guide device 6 , which forces a vertically upward flow. According to the number of guide devices arranged in the plant basin, the process of forcibly deflecting the horizontal directional component up or down is repeated until the waste water finally leaves the plant basin via the drainage backdrop 7 and the drain lines 9 . The deflection of the flow direction at the bottom of the basin is brought about by the sealing layer 9 .
