Gegenstand des Hauptpatents ist ein Insektenfänger, bei welchem die an sich bekannte Verwendung von Leuchtfarbe als Lockmittel in einer solchen Weise erfolgt, daß ein Streifen aus Papier oder beliebigem anderen geeigneten Stoff strichweise abwechselnd mit Leuchtfarbe und Klebstoff bestrichen und darauf zu einem kurzen Zylinder zusammengerollt wird, der zum Gebrauch zu einem Kegel auseinandergezogen werden kann. Die vorliegende Erfindung ist eine weitere Ausbildung des Gegenstandes des Hauptpatents. Es hat sich nämlich gezeigt, daß die wechselweise Auftragung von Leuchtfarben und Klebstoff auf den Streifen auch noch in anderer Weise sehr zweckmäßig erfolgen kann, nämlich derart, daß Leuchtfarbe und Klebstoff auf dem ; glatten Band oder Streifen nicht mehr parallel zu den Seitenkanten, sondern schräg zu densel- 1 ben in voll ausgezogenen Strichen oder in Punk- : ten aufgetragen werden. Man hat allerdings i bereits versucht, den Fliegenfänger dadurch mit ! einem besonderen Reizmittel zu versehen, daß | man auf ihm schräg zum Rande verlaufende parallele Striche aus greller bunter Farbe an- \ gebracht hat; wenn jedoch überhaupt diese Maßnahme für gewisse Insekten bei vollem Tageslicht eine Wirkung ergibt, so kommt sie ; doch gänzlich für die Dunkelheit außer Betracht.
