Der Doppelschirm gemäß der Erfindung umfaßt zwei Dachbespannungen 1, 2, zwei Stöcke 3, 4, zwei Gruppen von Dachstangen 10, 11, zwei Endabschlußkappen 5, 6 für die Stöcke, sowie ein Griffstück 7. Der Kunststoffriegel 30 besitzt zwei Laschen 28 und 29 an seinen beiden Enden, um einen geeigneten Abstand zwischen den je­ weiligen Paaren der vorderen Dachstangenteile 24, 25 und 26, 27 zu halten, so daß sich die Bespannungen weich und glatt ent­ falten. Löcher 31 und 32 sind an den vorderen Enden der Dach­ stangenvorderteile vorgesehen, und diese Teile sind mit Hilfe kleiner Schrauben 33 und Muttern 34 miteinander verbunden. Die im Querschnitt ovale oder längliche Form ermöglicht es, daß die Stöcke 3 und 4 ein wenig zur Seite geschwenkt werden können, wenn der Schirm entfaltet wird. Die im Querschnitt ovale Aus­ sparung 39 ist im wesentlichen aus Gründen der Gewichtsein­ sparung und wegen des besseren Aussehens angebracht. Zwei Vorsprünge 43 sind auf beiden Seiten einer Aussparung 42 innerhalb des Griffstückes vorgesehen, um eine T-förmige Knopfplatte 44 derart zu halten, daß der Knopf 45 die Aus­ sparung 42 auf der Vorderseite des Griffstückes 7 durchgreift. Die Stöcke 3 und 4 sind in den Aussparungen 40 und 41 in einer solchen Weise gehalten, daß ihre unteren Enden den Boden der Aussparung berühren und die Rastnasen 46 und 47 der an den Stöcken installierten Freigabeeinrichtungen stehen in Kontakt mit der Rückseite der T-förmigen Knopfplatte 44. An dem Verbindungsteil 9 ist außerdem ein Gelenk 72 gehalten, mit zwei Vorsprüngen, zwischen welchen ein abgeflachtes Ende des Anschlußstückes 76 einsteckbar gehalten ist. Eine lösbare Arretierung ist vorgesehen über einen Schraubbolzen 74, der die Löcher 73 in den Vorsprüngen 80 und 77 im abgeflachten Ende des Anschlußstückes 76 durchgreift, und eine Flügelmutter 75, die auf den Schraubbolzen 74 aufschraubbar ist. Die lnnenseiten der Vorsprünge und die beiden Außenseiten des flachen Endes 81 tragen Zähne, so daß der Winkel zwischen dem L-förmigen Ver­ bindungsteil 9 und dem Anschlußstück 76 eingestellt werden kann.
