Einwegbehälter für KrankenhausabfälleDisposable containers for hospital waste
The present invention relates to a container, preferably on a container made of plastic, with an opening that can be closed by a lid and in which the interior of the container is conical is designed to widen to the opening.
Containers for storing and transporting a wide variety of objects and materials that can be closed by means of a removable cover are known in many designs, usually the not yet filled containers and the lids are kept ready in separate stacks. To reduce the space required are the containers are usually conical so that they can be nested. Preferably the containers are in cross section held circular. The empty containers can therefore be stacked in the tightest of spaces, as even with a relatively large stack height a high level of stability is given. In the case of the lids with a relatively low overall height, the stacking height is relatively low because the lids tend to shift sideways.
Damit einThe filled and thus closed containers are also customary stacked. It is felt to be particularly disadvantageous that the positioning of the containers forming a stack is not specified is. Since the bottom of the container is smaller than the lid, it is easily possible to move the respective upper container. However, since it is absolutely essential to avoid a pile tipping over, as problem waste from hospitals is stored in the bins, among other things extreme care must be taken when stacking. So a
The greatest possible degree of stability is achieved to wear that the central longitudinal axes of the container are perpendicular to each other, but this is not practically feasible because the stacking without measuring tools or devices freely according to the eye. Even after the stack has been created, the individual Move the container, for example by accidentally starting it with a forklift or the like.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating the container through a simple structural design a stack of filled and closed containers while increasing its stability.
To solve the problem, it is provided according to the invention that the lid on the upper one facing away from the interior of the container Side in the area of the outer edge has webs running parallel and at a distance from one another and parallel to the edge, The distance between the inner surfaces of these webs is designed so that containers of the same conicity, the same opening and the same or of different heights are optionally stackable.
Ferner hat es sich noch als besonders vorteilhaft erwiesen, daß Stapel aus Behältern unterschiedlicher Höhe gebildet werden, daIt is now in a particularly simple way to increase the stability a stack formed from several stacked, filled containers possible, since the lower edge of the container of the Web of the lid of the container below is gripped. When stacking it is particularly advantageous that the position of the container is given. Another important advantage is that the same lid is used for containers with different capacities can be used because the conicity and the size of the 'opening are kept the same for all containers and the different capacities is achieved by a corresponding height of the container. The capacity of a container increases proportionally the height. Furthermore, it has also proven to be particularly advantageous that stacks are formed from containers of different heights, since
eine solche Anzahl von Stegen mit einem entsprechenden Abstand zueinander am Deckel vorgesehen sind, wie Behältergrößen anfallen.such a number of webs with a corresponding spacing from one another are provided on the lid, such as the container sizes.
According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the Struts have different heights and are connected to one another by a horizontally arranged partition, since then also at several webs ensures that the containers placed one above the other with their side walls on the horizontally lying partition stand up.
In practice, such containers are commonly referred to as barrels and kept circular in cross section. For such an embodiment, it is particularly advantageous if the webs and the outer Edge of the lid, seen in the projection, form concentric circles. The number of bars depends on the number of bars produced Container sizes. Since containers are usually offered in two different sizes, a preferred embodiment of the lid is designed so that two parallel webs are provided at a distance from the edge.
Es zeigen:Further characteristics and features of an advantageous embodiment of the present invention are the subject of further subclaims and emerge from the following description. Show it:

Fig. 5 einen Teil ausschnitt der Fig. 2 in vergrößerter Darstellung, die Festlegung des Deckels am oberen Behälterrand zeigend.FIG. 5 shows a partial section of FIG. 2 in an enlarged view, showing the fixing of the lid on the upper edge of the container.
In the stack shown in Fig. 1 as a partial view are several filled containers placed one above the other, for reasons of illustration only two containers 1, 2 are shown in an overall view. The height of the container 1 is twice that of the container 2, so that the capacity of the container 1 is twice or almost twice as large. Each container is covered by a lid 3 locked. The containers shown are those with a circular cross-section. As the figure shows, they are Lid 3 and the thereby closed openings of each container 1, 2 same dimensions. In addition, the conicity of the side walls is the same, so that the bottom of the container 1 is smaller in diameter than that of the container 2. From FIGS. 2 and 3, the support of the respective upper container 1 and 2 in the stack can be seen. Fig. 2 shows the support of the container 2, which is smaller in overall height, and FIG. 3 that of the larger container 1. The lid 3 is spaced apart by two and webs 4, 5 arranged parallel to one another are provided. The webs 4, 5 run parallel to the outer edge of the cover, with the distance of the outer web 4 to the edge is about the same as the distance to the inner web 5. The webs 4, 5 are horizontal by a lying partition 6 connected to each other, based on about the height of the web 5 is arranged in the middle. The containers 1, 2 are provided with an annular standing surface below the side walls 7 lies. The bottom 8 of each container jumps against the Standing surface in the direction of the cover 3 or the opening back. As a Comparison of FIGS. 2 and 3 shows that the container 2, which is kept smaller in terms of its overall height, is encompassed by the outer web 4, while the container 1 is encompassed by the web 5 with a greater overall height. The distance between the inner surfaces of the webs 4.5 is a function of the height of the Container. As can also be seen from the figures, the height offset of the upper edge of the webs 4.5 ensures that the container
Dadurch entstehen im Boden 8 durch das Gewicht des Behälters hervorgerufene Zonen erhöhter Belastung.terwandungen 7 either on the horizontal partition 6 or on the lower cover parts are supported. This creates increased zones in the base 8 caused by the weight of the container Load.
Dieser Rand ist, ebenfalls im Querschnitt gesehen, Y-förmig ausgebildet, wobei jedoch der vertikale Steg 13 die obere Begrenzung bildet und der innenliegende, schräg verlaufende Schenkel 14 in Verlängerung der Seitenwand 7 liegt und derAs shown in particular in FIG. 4, the area lying within the web 5 is designed with a height offset, in such a way that the middle Area is lower than the area adjoining the web 5. The transition between these two parts will be an inclined surface. in the A handle 9 is provided in the middle area, the upper edge of which is at the level or approximately at the level of the web 5. With such a design the overall height of the lid is kept relatively low despite the handle 9 and also the space required for the stacked Lid low. To prevent the cover from shifting sideways, the edge of the cover is at its lower edge, and when it is turned up, it is at the bottom 8 facing side opposite the upper edge formed protruding, the free end inwardly to form a locking lug 10 is angled. When the lids 3 are stacked, this locking lug 10 encloses the upper edge of the lid. As can also be seen from FIG. 4, the upper edge of the cover to form a locking recess, seen in cross section, is U-shaped, in such a way that the locking recess is open when the lid is turned up in the direction of the bottom 8 of the container 1 or 2. The locking recess 11 delimiting Side walls are also provided with inwardly protruding, preferably rounded or triangular and circumferential locking webs 12, as can be seen particularly from FIGS. 2 and 3 and 5. These locking webs 12 and 20 can be located on both sides of the locking recess 11 or the Web 13 are opposite or on both sides against each other be asymmetrically offset. As can also be seen from these figures, the upper edge of each container 1, 2 is outwardly opposite the side wall 7 formed above. This edge, also seen in cross section, is Y-shaped, but the vertical Web 13 forms the upper limit and the inner, inclined leg 14 is in extension of the side wall 7 and the
Diese Art der Verbindung ist besonders bei Behältern und Deckeln aus Kunststoff vorteilhaft, aufgrund des form- und materialfedernden Verhaltens dieser Werkstoffe.outer likewise inclined legs 15 have a locking leg forms, which is engaged from behind by the locking lug 10 of the cover 3. Such a configuration of the lid 3 and the container 1 or 2, not only can the respective lid be attached to the container in a particularly simple manner, but it becomes a firm connection Achieved between the container and lid, which can only be released by an intervention that destroys the lid or container. this is absolutely necessary so that the stability of the stack made up of several containers is not endangered. This is still necessary, for example, to deal with infectious or pathological hospital waste to be able to pack and transport gas- and watertight. This type of connection is particularly useful for containers and lids made of plastic advantageous due to the shape and material resilience of these materials.
As can be seen from Fig. 2, the lid is in the outer area for Ribbed increase in stability. So are between the outer edge of the lid and the outer web 4 stiffening ribs 16 and below the horizontally extending partition 6 reinforcing ribs are provided. There are also stacking ribs on the outside of the lid edge 18 molded. This stacking ribs 18 also have the task of bending the outer leg, which forms the lid edge, at To prevent strain.
Due to the construction of the cover with the webs described above and 5 and the stiffening ribs 16 and 17 causes the locking on the handle 9 during transport of the closed container is reinforced by the circumferential locking lug 10 of the lid 3 with the containers 1, 2.
As can also be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, below the inner, the wall of the cover 3 delimiting the latching recess 11 is provided with a circumferential sealing lip 19 which is attached to the inside of the Leg 14 of the upper edge of the container rests. If the product is liquid, this prevents it from flowing out. the The sealing can be improved even further if the external
Sides of the vertical web 13 of the upper container edge protruding beads 20 are arranged on both sides, as shown in more detail in FIG. The locking webs 12 of the locking recess 11 engage behind these beads. Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous if between
a sealing ring 21 lies at the bottom of the latching recess 11 and the upper side of the vertical web. The design of the connection of the lid 3 to the upper edge of the container 1 or 2 shown in the figure not only ensures that the lid 3 is fixed
is placed on the container edge, but also an absolute tightness is achieved.
