Dies erfordert nicht nur einen großen Arbeitsaufwand, sondern es besteht auch die Gefahr, daß die Einstellung der Regelung hiebei verändert wird. Es wird somit der Vorteil erreicht, daß die Einstellung der einzelnen Pumpe-Düse-Einheiten nicht verändert wird, da die Stellung der Hauptregelstange gegenüber dem Motorzylinderkopf erhalten bleibt. Wenn eine neue Pumpe-Düse-Einheit eingebaut werden soll, so kann die Einstellung dieser Pumpe-Düse-Einheit am Prüfstand erfolgen. Die in der Pumpe-Düse-Einheit integrierte Regelstange dient in üblicher Weise zur Einstellung einer oder mehrerer Betriebsgrößen, wie z.B. der Einspritzmenge und/oder des Einspritzbeginnes.
