Um eine möglichst problemlose Befestigung der Deckel in den Mähdrescherseitenwänden zu gewährleisten, sind die von den Lagerdeckeln zu verschließenden Montageöffnungen wechselseitig in der linken und rechten Mähdrescherseitenwand vorgesehen. Nach einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung ist zwischen Deckelaußenrand und Mähdrescherseitenwand ein ringförmiges elastisches Zwischenglied vorgesehen,-so daß dadurch Vibrationen vermieden und kleinere Unwuchten ausgichen werden können.
