Armbanduhrgehäuse konventioneller Art werden mit ihrem Zifferblatt oder Datenmonitor üblicherweise auf der Armaußenseite in Nähe des Handgelenkes getragen. Manche Leute jedoch bilden eine Ausnahme und tragen ihre Armbanduhr zum eigenen Körper hin gewendet (4). Mit diesen zwei Möglichkeiten sind alle Tragevarianten einer Armbanduhr aufgezählt. Wer aber erkennt, welche Probleme eine minimale Drehbewegung eines Armes nach sich ziehen kann, wenn man einen kurzen Blick auf das Zifferblatt werfen muß, der wird feststellen, daß diese zwei Tragevarianten unzureichend sind.Conventional wristwatch cases are usually worn with their dial or data display on the outside of the arm, close to the wrist. Doch eine derartige Drehbewegung eines Armes, und sei sie noch so geringfügig, ist bekanntlich dermaßen auffällig, daß die Anwesenden diese sogar im Seitenbück erfassen können. - Man stelle sich vor, ein terminbeladener Vertreter muß einen Blick auf seine Armbanduhr werfen, während er sich mit einem sehr wichtigen Kunden unterhält, der sich über sein Produkt informieren möchte und sich deswegen selbst von seiner kostbaren Zeit etwas abzwacken mußte. Wie will dieser Vertreter in solch einer Lage die Uhrzeit unauffällig im Auge behalten, um seine anderen Termine nicht zu verpassen? Beschäftigte, seien diese Politiker, Geschäftsleute oder Arbeiter, sie alle kennen solche diffizile Situationen und wissen, wie peinlich oder auch geschäftsgefährdend solch eine Armdrehung mit einem zeiterhaschenden Blick sein kann: Dies kann das Gespräch nicht nur unterbrechen, sondern auch abrupt beenden. Da schon eine leichte Armdrehung ein derartiges Problem zur Folge haben kann, wie eben geschildert, liegt die Lösung darin, eine Uhr so am Arm anzubringen, daß diese auf der Speichenknochenseite (3) in Nähe des Handgelenkes (1) aufgesetzt werden kann (Fig. 1). Durch derart getragene Armbanduhren kann die Zeit in nahezu jeder Lage unauffällig erfaßt werden. Doch mit einer flach geformten Armauflagefläche einer konventionellen Armbanduhr kann man eine derartige Trageposition nicht beibehalten: Die Uhr würde entweder auf die Innen- (4) oder Außenseite (2) des Unterarmes verrutschen. Demnach gibt es nur eine Möglichkeit, wie man die Armbanduhr auf der Speichenknochenseite festhalten kann: Die Rückseite des Armbanduhrgehäuses (21 - die Abdeckung (12) kann dazugezählt werden) muß erfindungsgemäß so ausgeformt sein, daß sie von einer Bandhalterung zur anderen (Fig. 2(1Ou. 13) u./o. Fig. 3 (15 u. 23)) eine der Speichenknochenseite (3) in Nähe des Handgelenkes (1) angepaßte Bogen-Armauflagefläche ((21) zugleich auch (12), wenn diese Bogen-Abdeckung auf das Uhrengehäuse eingerastet ist) bietet, welche einem Reitsattel ähnelt (z.B. Fig. 1). Eine derart gestaltete »Sattelarmbanduhr« läßt sich bequem auf der Speichenknochenseite in Handgelenknähe aufgesattelt tragen, wenn zusätzlich eine entsprechend kürzeres Lederoder Gliederarmband angebracht ist. Ein noch besserer Halt einer derartigen Sattelarmbanduhr wird vor allem dadurch erzielt, wenn an der Gehäuserückseite (21) aus ergonomischen Gründen nur ein Sattelbacken (Fig. 3 (22)) hier Teilarmsattel genannt - bis zur Hälfte des äußeren Handgelenkes oder darüber hinaus verlängert ist. Des weiteren ist solch ein Armsattel erfindungsgemäß auch ohne Uhrengehäuse herstellbar, wenn statt dessen auf dem Armsattel ein Uhrenauflageboden (28) geschaffen ist, auf dem sich eine herkömmliche Armbanduhr (24) auflegen läßt, welche, auf diese Weise zusammengefügt (Fig. 4), genauso auf der Speichenknochenseite tragbar ist. Dieser Armsattel wird so zum Armbanduhren-Untersatz für bisher übliche Armbanduhren. Die bevorzugte Herstellungsart dieses Armbanduhren-Untersatzes ist die Teilarmsattelausfuhrung, insbesondere dann, wenn sich auf dem Uhrenauflageboden (28) eine Einbettung (29) befindet, die z.B. eine entsprechende Vertiefung, Mulde oder Ausbohrung aufweist, in welche die Rückseite einer konventionellen Armbanduhr hineinpaßt. Da an diesem Armbanduhren-Untersatz eine konventionelle Armbanduhr vorzugsweise nur an einer einzigen Bandhalterung am Anstoß (Fig. 4 u. 5 (30)) - die bevorzugte Anbringungsstelle eines solchen Anstoßes liegt in der Winkelecke (Fig. 4 u. 5 (27)) des Uhrenauflagebodens über dem Sattelbacken (Fig. 4 u. 5 (3I)) - wie am Scharnier beweglich (s. Fig. 4 (Pfeile)) befestigt ist, erhält das Ganze z.B. auch noch folgende Vorteile: Bei einem Batteriewechsel braucht man das Uhrengehäuse, welches mit der Federstege am Anstoß beweglich befestigt ist, nur um etwa 180° vom Armbanduhren-Untersatz abzukippen (s.
