Derartige Sinkkästen sind normalerweise mit einem Geruchsverschluß versehen, der verhindert, daß Gase aus dem Entwässerungssystem über den Sinkkasten in das Innere von Gebäuden strömen. Eine übliche Form für einen Geruchsverschluß besteht bei einem nach unten weisenden Abflußstutzen zum Beispiel darin, daß dieser in das Einbaugehäuse nach oben ragt und von einer Geruchsverschlußglocke übergriffen wird, die sich am Boden des Einbaugehäuses abstützt. Es läßt sich jedoch nicht immer verhindern, daß mit Wasser auch Schmutzteilchen in den Sinkkasten gelangen. Es ist von Zeit zu Zeit daher erforderlich, das Einbaugehäuse zu reinigen. Wegen der Geruchsverschlußkonstruktion ist der Zugang zum Boden des Einbaugehäuses jedoch schwierig. Ein- und Ausbau des Geruchsverschlußelements, auf dem auch der Schlammfangbehälter angebracht ist, gestalten sich wegen der Gewindeanordnung verhältnismäßig aufwendig und umständlich. Somit kann die gesamte Einheit aus Einsatz, Geruchsverschlußglocke und gegebenenfalls Schlammfangbehälter aus dem Einbaugehäuse herausgenommen werden. Das Einbaugehäuse ist völlig frei von oben zugänglich, denn der Ablaufstutzen nach unten oder zur Seite braucht sich nicht in das Innere des Gehäuses hineinzuerstrecken. Die erfindungsgemäße Konstruktion erlaubt daher ein rasches Entnehmen der Innenteile im Einbaugehäuse des Sinkkastens und auch die erneute Montage.
