Definitions
- the invention relates to a wastewater drain specified in the preamble of claim 1. Art.
- the predetermined odor trap height results from two partial odor trap heights of two separately acting odor traps. Since the partial odor trap heights do not overlap but there is a considerable distance between them, the wastewater drain builds up inappropriately.
- the predetermined odor trap height is defined continuously between the inner wall of a pot inserted into the drain tank and an apron which extends downwards from above into the pot. Due to the above and below the predetermined, required in a continuous odor trap flow cross-sections of the wastewater drain is inconveniently high.
- a known from DE 295 17 550 U wastewater drain contains the odor trap device to prevent a backflow of odors or channel gases. Typical applications are in the bathroom, in the basement, in kitchens or similar wet areas.
- the predetermined odor trap height becomes defined continuously between a pot inner wall and a dip tube.
- the continuous odor trap height requires a certain height of the odor trap device.
- certain flow cross-section heights above and below the odor trap device are required. Since in modern buildings the floors or screed constructions are relatively thin or allow only shallow installation depths for a wastewater drain, often the wastewater drain can not be installed. There is therefore a need to keep the height of the waste water drains with odor trap as low as possible, but the predetermined odor trap height, for example, 50 mm, must be given.
- the invention has for its object to provide a waste water drain or odor trap device of the type mentioned with reduced height.
- one odor trap is a bell odor trap and another is a dip trap trap.
- the baffle odor trap claimed in the horizontal direction of the wastewater drain little space compared to the bell odor trap. It would also be conceivable, two bells-odor closures adjacent to each other combine to ensure the predetermined odor trap height despite reduced height.
- the first bells odor trap has a rising from the Unterströmschwelle, open-top wall and a climbing wall on the outside down-reaching bell wall, and the other odor trap one, preferably in front of the drain opening, down to Unterströmschwelle leading baffle and an overflow threshold raised above the underflow threshold, preferably into the discharge opening.
- the inflow into the drainage tank takes place either from the side and / or from above, wherein the wastewater first passes through the bell trap and only the other odor trap downstream of the underflow threshold.
- This concept also makes it possible to provide large flow cross sections above and below the odor trap device.
- the effective partial odor trap height of the first bell odor trap is defined between the upper end of the riser wall and the lower end of the bell wall, while the effective partial odor trap height of the other odor trap is between the lower end of the dip wall at the underflow threshold and the overflow threshold is defined.
- the two partial odor trap heights together give the predetermined odor trap height of the odor trap device, wherein the partial odor trap height, which decisively enters into the height of the waste water drain or the odor trap device, of course, is chosen as low as possible.
- the geometric conditions in the wastewater drain play a role here, so that as a rule the effective partial odor trap height of the bell odor trap can be greater than that of the other odor trap.
- the Unterströmschwelle can completely surround the designed as suitably tubular riser wall outside.
- the baffle odor trap is placed downstream of the underflow sill in the flow direction to the drain opening, preferably directly at the drain opening.
- the riser wall, the underflow threshold and the baffle wall are contained in a one-piece molding which is located in a sealing seat of the drainage tank is determined to be removable.
- the bell of the bells odor trap is then carried by the molded part, for example.
- Fig. 1 is a vertical section of an embodiment of a wastewater drainage.
- the wastewater drain A shown in Fig. 1 is for example a basement, bath or ceiling drain, which is mainly installed in the bottom of an interior and is therefore equipped against backflowing odors or duct gases with a odor trap device V.
- the odor-trap device V between an inlet Z and a drain X is effective in a drain tank 1, which optionally also has an upper-side inlet. Locked odors come from the expiration X.
- the drain container 1 is designed approximately pot-shaped, has a flat bottom wall 2, a circumferential side wall 3 with an upper sealing socket 4 for a lid, and is closed by either a lid or a grate.
- a drain opening 5 and at least one inlet opening 8 is formed in the side wall 3.
- an overflow threshold 6 for example with a straight course perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, is formed in the side wall 3, for example at a lower position of the container 1 than the lower edge of the feed opening 8.
- the overflow threshold 6 could alternatively also be provided inside the drainage container 1 be.
- the odor trap device V has at least one integral molded part F and an attached bell 15.
- the molded part F is provided with a sealing edge 14 in a container inner wall, e.g. obliquely sealing seat 7 removable, but tightly supported.
- the bell 15 is placed on the molding and supported with a socket 19 and 21 supporting webs.
- a top wall 20 of the bell 15 extends to the inlet opening eighth
- the odor trap device V in the embodiment shown comprises two odor traps, namely a bell odor closure G1 and a baffle trap G2, each of which defines an effective partial odor trap height h1 and h2, respectively.
- the odor trap device V could be permanently installed as a whole. However, the removable molding F allows easy cleaning.
- the bell scent closure G1 comprises a riser wall 9 with an upper opening 10, wherein the riser wall is formed, for example, as a tube wall and extends with a curved, circumferential region down to a Unterströmschwelle 12.
- This baffle 13 comprises a bell wall 16 and extends in Fig. 1 to the left obliquely sloping to the sealing seat 7 below the mouth of the inlet opening 8.
- the bell 15 has a flat top wall 18 and rounded by this hanging bell wall 16, with a lower horizontal end 17 at a distance above the Unterströmschwelle 12 expires.
- the part odor trap height h1 of the bell scent G1 is between the upper end 10 of the riser wall 9 and the lower end 17 of the bell wall 16 defined.
- the baffle odor trap G2 is defined by the baffle 13, which extends to Unterstromschwelle 12 and at a distance from the mouth of the drain opening 5 and the portion of the side wall 3, which extends up to the overflow threshold 6. Between the overflow threshold 6 and the underflow threshold 12, the effective partial odor trap height h2 of the baffle odor trap G2 is defined.
- an upper flow cross-section 22 is provided below the top wall 18, while below the end 17, a further flow cross-section 23 is formed.
- a further flow cross section 24 is delimited, via which the interior space within the riser wall 9 is in flow connection with the dip wall odor trap G2.
- the sum of the effective partial odor trap heights h1 and h2 gives at least the predetermined odor trap height of the odor trap device V. Since the effective partial odor trap height h1 is less than the predetermined partial odor trap height h1 than the predetermined odor trap height h1. Height, resulting in the height of the drain tank 1 and the odor trap device V with the necessary upper and lower flow areas 22, 24 in a significantly lower height, as it would result if the bell odor trap G1 alone define the whole predetermined odor trap height would.
- two bells odor traps could also be combined, or two baffle odor traps.
- the ratio of effective partial odor trap heights is about 2: 1; but this ratio can be varied as desired.
- Waste water coming from the inlet Z flows around the bell wall 16 and through the flow cross-section 23 into the interior of the bell wall 16, then flows over it the end 10 and falls on the bottom wall 2, before it passes through the flow area 24 and the overflow threshold 6 in the sequence X. If the sewage stream stops, then a water column with the height h1 remains between the bell wall 16 and the riser 9 in the space formed there, while a water column with the height h2 remains between the baffle 13 and the overflow threshold 16. These water columns cause the odor trap with at least the predetermined odor trap height h1 + h2.
- the height of the waste water drain A is only slightly more than twice the height h1.
- the height of the odor trap device V is less than twice the height h1 in the embodiment shown.

Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abwasserablauf der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Art.The invention relates to a wastewater drain specified in the preamble of claim 1. Art.
In a wastewater discharge known from GB 205 879 A, the predetermined odor trap height results from two partial odor trap heights of two separately acting odor traps. Since the partial odor trap heights do not overlap but there is a considerable distance between them, the wastewater drain builds up inappropriately.
In a waste water drain known from EP 0 081 038 A, the predetermined odor trap height is defined continuously between the inner wall of a pot inserted into the drain tank and an apron which extends downwards from above into the pot. Due to the above and below the predetermined, required in a continuous odor trap flow cross-sections of the wastewater drain is inconveniently high.
In a known from EP 0 795 652 A wastewater drain with oil barrier function, the odor trap height is continuously between the inner wall of a pot inserted into the drain tank, which defines an overflow threshold with its upper edge, and the outer wall of another, inserted from above, a bottom-side through hole defining pot. Due to the above and below the limits of the predetermined continuous odor trap height required passage cross-sections, the wastewater drain builds up inconveniently high.
A known from DE 295 17 550 U wastewater drain contains the odor trap device to prevent a backflow of odors or channel gases. Typical applications are in the bathroom, in the basement, in kitchens or similar wet areas. In the scenting device, the predetermined odor trap height becomes defined continuously between a pot inner wall and a dip tube. The continuous odor trap height, however, requires a certain height of the odor trap device. In such a wastewater drain, however, certain flow cross-section heights above and below the odor trap device are required.
The invention has for its object to provide a waste water drain or odor trap device of the type mentioned with reduced height.
The stated object is achieved with the features of claim 1.
With two odor traps, each of which defines only an effective partial odor trap height less than the predetermined odor trap height, and which are separated in the horizontal direction directly or indirectly by the underflow threshold, despite the required flow cross sections above and below the odor trap device Reduce the height of the wastewater drain or the odor trap device considerably, because the flow cross-section heights above and below the odor trap device add up only to the effective partial odor trap height of an odor trap, while the other partial odor trap height to the height no longer works. It can be created in this way a very low-built odor trap device or a very low-build wastewater drain to cope with installation situations with low installation depth. Suitably, one odor trap is a bell odor trap and another is a dip trap trap. Especially the baffle odor trap claimed in the horizontal direction of the wastewater drain little space compared to the bell odor trap. It would also be conceivable, two bells-odor closures adjacent to each other combine to ensure the predetermined odor trap height despite reduced height. In terms of manufacturing technology and flow, the first bells odor trap has a rising from the Unterströmschwelle, open-top wall and a climbing wall on the outside down-reaching bell wall, and the other odor trap one, preferably in front of the drain opening, down to Unterströmschwelle leading baffle and an overflow threshold raised above the underflow threshold, preferably into the discharge opening. The inflow into the drainage tank takes place either from the side and / or from above, wherein the wastewater first passes through the bell trap and only the other odor trap downstream of the underflow threshold. This concept also makes it possible to provide large flow cross sections above and below the odor trap device.
The effective partial odor trap height of the first bell odor trap is defined between the upper end of the riser wall and the lower end of the bell wall, while the effective partial odor trap height of the other odor trap is between the lower end of the dip wall at the underflow threshold and the overflow threshold is defined. The two partial odor trap heights together give the predetermined odor trap height of the odor trap device, wherein the partial odor trap height, which decisively enters into the height of the waste water drain or the odor trap device, of course, is chosen as low as possible. However, the geometric conditions in the wastewater drain play a role here, so that as a rule the effective partial odor trap height of the bell odor trap can be greater than that of the other odor trap.
In order to achieve uniform flow conditions, the Unterströmschwelle can completely surround the designed as suitably tubular riser wall outside. The baffle odor trap is placed downstream of the underflow sill in the flow direction to the drain opening, preferably directly at the drain opening.
In terms of manufacturing technology, the riser wall, the underflow threshold and the baffle wall are contained in a one-piece molding which is located in a sealing seat of the drainage tank is determined to be removable. The bell of the bells odor trap is then carried by the molded part, for example.
Reference to the drawings, an embodiment of the subject invention will be explained. Fig. 1 is a vertical section of an embodiment of a wastewater drainage.
Abzusperrende Gerüche stammen aus dem Ablauf X.The wastewater drain A shown in Fig. 1 is for example a basement, bath or ceiling drain, which is mainly installed in the bottom of an interior and is therefore equipped against backflowing odors or duct gases with a odor trap device V. In the embodiment shown, the odor-trap device V between an inlet Z and a drain X is effective in a drain tank 1, which optionally also has an upper-side inlet. Locked odors come from the expiration X.
The drain container 1 is designed approximately pot-shaped, has a
The odor trap device V has at least one integral molded part F and an attached
The odor trap device V in the embodiment shown comprises two odor traps, namely a bell odor closure G1 and a baffle trap G2, each of which defines an effective partial odor trap height h1 and h2, respectively. The odor trap device V could be permanently installed as a whole. However, the removable molding F allows easy cleaning.
The bell scent closure G1 comprises a
The baffle odor trap G2 is defined by the
The sum of the effective partial odor trap heights h1 and h2 gives at least the predetermined odor trap height of the odor trap device V. Bei einer nicht gezeigten Ausführungsform könnten auch zwei Glocken-Geruchverschlüsse kombiniert werden, oder zwei Tauchwand-Geruchverschlüsse. In an embodiment not shown, two bells odor traps could also be combined, or two baffle odor traps. In the embodiment shown, the ratio of effective partial odor trap heights is about 2: 1; but this ratio can be varied as desired.
The height of the waste water drain A is only slightly more than twice the height h1. The height of the odor trap device V is less than twice the height h1 in the embodiment shown.

- Waste water drain (A), particularly a basement, bath or floor drain, having an outflow container (1) comprising at least one lateral outflow opening (5), in which is provided an odour seal device (V) with a predetermined odour seal height, the odour seal device comprising two odour seals (G1, G2) arranged in a flow path to the outflow opening (5) and side by side in the horizontal direction, each having an effective partial odour seal height (h 1, h2) which is less than the predetermined odour seal height, each of which is effective above an underflow threshold (12) placed underneath, and which jointly define the predetermined odour seal height with their partial odour seal heights (h1, h2), characterised in that one odour seal is a first bell-type odour seal (G1) and the other is a baffle-type odour seal (G2) or a second bell-type odour seal, in that the first bell-type odour seal (G1) comprises an upwardly open rising wall rising from the underflow threshold (12) and a bell wall (16) engaging downwards over the rising wall (9) to the outside, and in that the other odour seal comprises a baffle (13) leading downwards to the underflow threshold (12) and an overflow threshold (6) located higher than the underflow threshold (12).
- Waste water drain according to claim 1, characterised in that the baffle (13) is arranged in front of the outflow opening (5) in the flow path and the overflow threshold (6) is arranged in the outflow opening (5).
- Waste water drain according to claim 1, characterised in that the effective partial odour seal height (h1) of the bell-type odour seal (G1) is defined between the upper end (10) of the rising wall (9) and the lower end (17) of the bell wall (16), and in that the effective partial odour seal height (h2) of the other odour seal (G2) is defined between the lower end of the baffle (13) at the underflow threshold (12) and the overflow threshold (6).
- Waste water drain according to claim 3, characterised in that the effective partial odour seal height (h1) of the first bell-type odour seal (G1) is greater than that (h2) of the other odour seal (G2).
- Waste water drain according to claim 1, characterised in that the underflow threshold (12) completely surrounds the rising wall (9), preferably a tubular rising wall, on the outside and is of rounded construction, and in that the other odour seal (G2) is disposed downstream of the underflow threshold (12), preferably directly at the outflow opening (5).
- Waste water drain according to claim 1, characterised in that the rising wall (9), the underflow threshold (12) and the baffle (13) are contained in a one-piece moulded part (F) which is removably fixed in a sealing seat (7) of the outflow container (1) and carries the bell (15) of the first bell-type odour seal (G1).
- Waste water drain according to claim 3, characterised in that the height of the waste water drain (A) is rather more than twice the partial odour seal height (h1).
- Waste water drain according to claim 3, characterised in that the height of the odour seal device (V) is less than twice the partial odour seal height (h1).
- Waste water drain according to claim 3, characterised in that the lower end (17) of the bell wall (16) is arranged lower down than the overflow threshold (6).
