Dieselbe besteht aus einem Cylinder C, in dem der auf bekannte Weise von einer Kurbel aus oder durch directen Dampf- oder Wasserdruck angetriebene Kolben C₁ sich hin- und herbewegt. Der Cylinder C steht an seiner oberen Seite durch das Rohr ν mit dem Einfülltrichter V für die auszupressenden Producte in Verbindung, während sich an seine untere Seite der Rohrstutzen v^l anschliefst, durch, den die letzteren in den perforirten Cylinder oder das Prefsseiherrohr E weiterbefördert werden. b b^x sind Schieber, von denen b das Einlafsrohr ν und b¹ das Auslafsrohr v¹ wechselweise abschliefst. Diese letzteren werden durch ihre bezw.
