Flammenverzögernde Bindemittel auf Basis Polymerlatex
für brennbare Stoffe
Die Erfindung betrifft flammenverzögernde Bindemittel auf Basis Polymerlatex für brennbare Stoffe, die die
folgenden Bestandteile enthalten: (a) einen Polymerlatex enthaltend (1) mindestens ein halogenhaltiges a,ß~
äthylenisch ungesättigtes Monomeres, (2) mindestens einen
Vinylphosphonsäureester und (3) mindestens ein Comonomeres, wie z.B. ein Alkylacrylat oder N-Methylolacrylamid, sowie
(b) Antimonoxid.
Als flammenverzögernde Mittel für verschiedene brennbare Materialien, wie z.B. Papier oder Textilien und Vliesstoffe
auf Cellulosebasis wurden bisher häufig Mischpolymerisate aus Viny!halogeniden, Vinylidenhalogeniden und
verschiedenen phosphorhaltigen Vinylmonomeren verwendet, für leichte und biegsame Materialien gibt es jedoch im
Hinblick auf die Menge an Polymerisat, die von den Materialien aufgenommen werden kann, bevor die Biegsamkeit und

ein weiches Gefühl beim Betasten verloren gehen, eine
Grenze. V/enn zu wenig Polymerisat aufgenommen werden kann, so wird keine flammenverzögernde Wirkung erreicht.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß Polymerlatices, die mindestens ein halogenhaltiges a,ß-äthylenisch ungesättigtes Monomeres,
mindestens einen Vinylphosphonsäureester und mindestens ein drittes Comonomeres enthalten und nachstehend näher
beschrieben werden, ein ausgezeichnetes flammenverzögerndes
Bindemittel für biegsame brennbare Stoffe ergeben, vienn sie mit Antimonoxid vermischt werden. Die Latexgemische
der vorllegenden Erfindung bewirken eine merkliche Verminderung
des Nachglimmens, das sonst in einfachen Kombinationen aus Chlorverbindungen und Antimonoxid beobachtet wird. Um
die Weichheit der Produkte zu verbessern, können zusätzliche Bestandteile, wie z.B. Chlorparaffine, in das Polymerisat
eingearbeitet werden.
Die für die vorliegende Erfindung brauchbaren Polymeren sind wäßrige Polymerlatices, die die folgenden Bestandteile
enthalten:
(1) mindestens ein halogenhaltiges a,ß-äthylenisch ungesättigtes Monomeres, d.h. Vinylmonomere wie Vinylhalogenide,
beispielsweise Vinylchlorid, Vinylfluorid und Vinylbromid, halogenierte Alkylacrylate mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen
in der Alkylgruppe und halogenierte Alkylmethaerylate mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkylgruppe3 wie z.B.
Methyl-a-chloracrylat und Methyl-a-bromacrylat; Vinylidenhalogenide,
wie z.B. Vinylidenchlorid, Vinylidenbromid, Vinylidenchlorbromid und Vinylidenfluorid; halogensubstituierte
Nitrile von äthylenisch ungesättigten Carbonsäuren s
wie z.B. a-Chloracrylnitril; sowie die chlorierten Styrole,

(2) mindestens einen Vinylphosphonsäureester, nämlich
ein Bis-(kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonat der Formel:

verschieden oder miteinander zu einer einzigen Gruppe verbunden sein können^ und ,
(3) mindestens ein Comonomeres aus der folgenden Gruppe: a-01efine, wie z.B. Äthylen, Propylen und Butylen; Vinylester
von Carbonsäuren, wie z.B. Vinylacetat, Vinylbutyrat und Vinylstearat; Alkylester von Acrylsäure und Methacrylsäure
mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkylgruppe, wie z.B. Methylmethacrylat, Methylacrylat, Äthylacrylat, n-Butyl-

acrylat, sek.-Butylacrylat, tert.-Butylacrylat, 2-Äthylhexylacrylat
und Laurylaerylat; äthylenisch ungesättigte
Dicarbonsäuren, deren Anhydride und deren Mono- und Dialkylester mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in den Alkylgruppen,
wie z.B. Aconitsäure, Fumarsäure, Maleinsäure, Itaconsäure, Citraconsäure, Maleinsäureanhydrid, Dibutylfumarat
und Monoäthylmaleat; Amide von äthylenisch ungesättigten
Carbonsäuren, wie z.B. Acrylamid und Methacrylamid, und deren N-Mefchylol- und Diacetonderivate, wie z.B.
N-Methylol-acrylainid, N-Methylol-methacrylamid und Diacetonacrylamid;
Vinylary!verbindungen, wie z.B. Styrol und rc-Methyl-styrol; Alkyl-vinyläther mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen
in der Alkylgruppe, wie z.B. Methyl-vinyläther, Äthyl-vinyläther und Stearyl-vinyläther; Diene, wie z.B.
Isopren und Butadien; und^ Glycidylester der Acrylsäure und
Methacrylsäure, wie z.B. Glycidylacrylat und Glycidylmethacrylat.
Die bevorzugten Comonomeren sind die Alkylester
der Acrylsäure und Methacrylsäure mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkylgruppe, insbesondere die niederen
Alkylacrylate mit 1J bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen in der
Alkylgruppe.
In einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform der.Erfindung
enthält der .Polymerlatex zusätzlich die N-Methylol- und
Diacetonderivate der Amide von äthylenisch ungesättigten Carbonsäure^ wie z.B. N-Methylol-acrylamid oder Diacetonacrylamid,
die dazu dienen, die erhaltenen Polymerisate mit Vernetzungsstellen zu versehen.
Die Ausdrücke "Kohlenviasserstoffreste" und "substituierte
Kohlenwasserstoffreste", wie sie vorliegend zur Definition der geeigneten Vinylphosphonsäureester verwendet werden,
beziehen sich auf Reste, die aus einem Kohlenwasserstoff

oder substituierten Kohlenwasserstoff, der aliphatisch oder aromatisch sein kann, durch Entfernung eines Wasserstoff
atoms erhalten v/erden. Diese Kohlenwasserstoffreste können durch solche Atome oder Gruppen substituiert sein,
die die Polymerisation der Vinylphosphonsäureester nicht beeinträchtigen. Beispiele für derax'tige Substituenten
sind Chlor-, Brom- oder Fluoratome oder Nitro-, Hydroxyl-, SuIfon-, Äthoxy-, Methoxy-, Nitril-, Äther-, Ester- oder
Ketogruppen.
Beispiele für aliphatische und aromatische Gruppen, die in
der vorstehenden Formel der Vinyl-phosphonsäureester durch
R und R1 dargestellt werden können, sind Alky!gruppen,
wie z.B. die Methyl-, Äthyl-, Propyl-, Butyl-, Pentyl-, Hexyl- oder Nonylgruppe; Alkenylgrupperi, wie z.B. die
Pentenyl- oder Hexenylgruppe sowie alle entsprechenden Isomeren; Cycloalkylgruppen, wie z.B. die Cyclopropyl-,
Cyclobutyl-, Cyclopentyl- oder Cyclohexylgruppe; Cycloalkenylgruppen,
wie z.B. die Cyclohexenylgruppe; sowie die
Phenyl-, Benzyl-, Phenäthyl-, ToIy1- oder die Naphthylgruppe als typische Ary!gruppen.

Bei der Herstellung der neuen wäßrigen Emulsionspolymerisate der vorliegenden Erfindung wird aus der Gruppe der
Bis-(kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonate vorzugsweise das
Bis-Cß-chloräthyli-vinylphosphonat verwendet, da dieses
Monomere im Handel erhältlich ist und billiger und leichter erhältlich als die anderen Bis-(kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonate
ist.
Wenn auch in den wäßrigen Emulsionspolymerisaten der vorliegenden
Erfindung als halogenhaltiges äthylenisch ungesättigtes
Monomeres bevorzugt ein Viny!halogenid oder ein
Vinylidenhalogenid eingesetzt wird, so werden doch nach einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform insbesondere
die Vinylidenhalogenide eingesetzt, da diese Monomeren bei ihrer Einarbeitung in die erfindungsgemäßen Polymerisate
den Stoffen, die mit ihnen überzogen oder imprägniert werden, ein weiches Gefühl beim Betasten verleihen.
In den Polymerisaten gemäß vorliegender Erfindung wird als drittes Comonomeres vorzugsweise ein Alkylacrylat, vorzugsweise
ein Alkylacrylat mit H bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alky!gruppe, wie z.B. n-Butylacrylat oder 2-Äthylhexylaerylst,
verwendet. Besonders bevorzugt sind Polymerisate.. die sowohl ein Alkylacrylat mit k bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen
in der- Alky!gruppe als auch M-Methylol-acrylamid enthalten,

Alkylacrylats in das Polymerisat bewirkt wird, daß d;·.:.·
erhaltene Polymerisat eine gute Farbbeständigkeit und Weichheit aufweist. Die Einarbeitung von N-Methylol-acrylamid
oder ähnlichen N-Methylolderivaten bewirkt, daß das
erhaltene Polymerisat aus sich heraus vernetzbar ist. In diesem Zusammenhang sei bemerkt, daß der vorliegend verwendete
Ausdruck "Polymerisat" oder "Polymer" solche Polymerisate betrifft, die von 3 oder mehr einzelnen monomeren
Substanzen abgeleitet sind.
Bei der Herstellung der wäßrigen Emulsionspolymerisate,
die in den erfindungsgemäßen flamrnenverzögernden Mitteln
eingesetzt werden, können anstelle der vorstehen·: beschriebenen Bis- (kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonate oder neben
diesen Vinylphosphonaten auch die folgenden Vinylphosphonsäureester
eingesetzt v/erden: (2a) saure Monoalkyl-vinylphosphonate,
wie z.B. Monoäthyl-hydrogen-vinylphosphonat, Monobutyl-hydrogen-vinylphosphonat, Monooctyl-hydrogenvinylphosphonat,
Mono-(ß-chloräthy1)-hydgrogen-vinylphosphonat,
Mono-(«j-chloroctyD-hydrogen-vinylphosphonat; (2b)
Monocycloalkyl- und Monoaryl-hydrogen-vinylphosphonate, wie z.B. Monocyclohexyl-hydrogen-vinylphosphonat, Monophenylhydrogen-vinylphosphonat,
Monobenzy1-hydrogen-vinylphosphonat
(2c) Bis-cycloalkyl- und Bis-aryl-vinylphosphonate, wie
z.B. Bis-(cyclohexy])-vinylphosphonat und Bis-benzyl-vinylphosphonat;
und (2d) Bis-alkyl-, Bis-cycloalkyl- und Bisaryl-allylphosphonate,
v/ie z.B. Bis-(ß-chloräthyl)-allylphosphonat, Bis-cyclohexyl-allylphosphonat und Bis-benzylallylphosphonat,
sowie Gemische aus zwei oder mehr der vorstehend beschriebenen monomeren Phosphorsäureester.

Die als Bestandteil (a) der erfindungsgemäßen Mittel eingesetzten
Polymerisate können durch bekannte Emulsionspolymerisationsverfahren, die durch freie Radikale eingeleitet
werden, hergestellt werden. In diesen Verfahren werden die verschiedenen Monomeren und Katalysatoren mit
Hilfe von einem oder mehreren oberflächenaktiven Emulgiermitteln
in V/asser emulgiert, worauf die Polymerisations-umsetzung
eingeleitet wird» Beispiele für geeignete wasserlösliche Katalysatoren, die freie Radikale bilden und zur
Herstellung der Mischpolymerisatlatices gemäß vorliegender Erfindung geeignet sind,, sind Natrium-, Kalium™ und
Airanoniumpersulfat sowie V/asserstoffperoxid oder auch
Redox-Systeme, wie z.B. ein Gemisch eines Persulfats mit einem Alkalimetallbisulfit, -thiosulfat oder -hydrosulfit.
Diese Katalysatoren sollten in einer Konzentration von etwa 0,05 bis 5,0 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf die gesamte
Monomerenbeschickung, vorhanden sein. Als Emulgiermittel
oder oberflächenaktive Mittel können einzeln oder im Gemisch anionische., kationische oder nichtionische Emulgiermittel,
wie z.B. die Salze von Alkylcarbonsauren, die Salze von Alkylsulfaten, Sulfonaten, Phosphaten oder Sulfosuccinaten,
die Alkyl-aryläther-alkohole und die Salze
von Alkyl-aryl-polyäther-sulfaten eingesetzt werden. Das
ausgewählte Emulgiermittel oder die ausgewählten Emulgiermittel sollten in wirksamen Konzentrationen von etwa 0,03
bis 6,0 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf die gesamte Monomerenbeschickung, vorhanden sein. Zusätzlich kann gegebenenfalls
ein Schutzkolloid, wie z.B. Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Methylcellulose oder Gelatine in einer wirksamen
Konzentration von etwa 0,03 bis 6,0 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das gesamte Monomerengemisch, vorhanden sein.
Das Schutzkolloid kann auch im Anschluß an die Herstellung des Mischpolymerisatlatex in den Latex eingeführt werden.

Wenn das Schutzkolloid nachträglich auf diese Weise in
den Latex eingeführt wird, sollte es in einer Konzentration
von etwa 0,03 bis 6,0 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf die gesamten Harzfeststoffe, eingesetzt v/erden. In jedem
Fall dient die Gegenwart des Schutzkolloids zur Verbesserung der mechanischen Beständigkeit der Emulsion.
Die eigentliche Polymerisation wird gewöhnlich bei einer Temperatur von etwa 0 bis 1000C und während einer Dauer
von etwa 1 bis 21I Stunden durchgeführt, wobei diese Bedingungen
im einzelnen von solchen Faktoren, wie den besonderen Monomeren, Katalysatoren, oberflächenaktiven
Mitteln und Polymerisationsanlagen, die eingesetzt werden, abhängen. Die in diesen Polymerisationsverfahren erhaltenen
Latices haben im allgemeinen einen Harzfeststoffgehalt von et via 5 bis 70 Gewichtsprozent, wobei die Teilchen
einen Durchmesser im Bereich von etwa 0,03 bis 3,0 μ aufweisen.
Mengenmäßig können diese wäßrigen Emulsions- oder Polymerlatexteilchen
et via 1 bis 89 Gewichtsprozent eines oder
mehrerer der vorstehend beschriebenen Vinylphosphonsäureester, etwa 10 bis 98 Gewichtsprozent eines oder mehrerer
der vorstehend beschriebenen halogenhaltigen äthylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren und etwa 1 bis ^5 Gewichtsprozent
eines oder mehrerer der vorstehend beschriebenen dritten Mischmonomeren enthalten. Optimale Ergebnisse als flammenverzögernde
Zusätze für viele biegsame, brennbare Stoffe, die diesen Stoffen auch eine gute Farbbeständigkeit und
einen guten "Griff" verleihen, werden erhalten, wenn man in den erfindungsgemäßen Mitteln Polymerisate einsetzt, die
etwa 10 bis 75 Gewichtsprozent eines oder mehrerer der

Vinylphosphorirsäureeoter, etwa 20 bis 85 Gewichtsprozent
eines oder mehrerer· der vorstehend beschriebenen halogenhaltigen äthylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren und etwa
5 bis 35 Gewichtsprozent eines oder mehrerer der vorstehend beschriebenen dritten Mischmonomeren enthält. Gans besonders
bevorzugt ist ein Polymerisat, das etwa 45 bis 55 Gewichtsprozent Bis-(ß-chloräthyl)-vinylphosphonat, 25 bis
35 Gewichtsprozent Vinylidenchlorid, Ik bis 20 Gewichtsprozent
n-Butylacrylat und 1 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent N-Methylolacrylamid
enthält. n-Butylacrylat kann ohne Beeinträchtigung der Eigenschaften des Latex-Polymerisates durch 2-Äthylhexylacrylat
ersetzt werden. Wenn 2-Äthylhexylacrylat
eingesetzt wird, so enthält das besonders bevorzugte Polymerisat 65 bis 75 Gewichtsprozent Vinylidenchlorid, 12
bis 22 Gewichtsprozent Bis-(ß-chloräthyl)-vinylphosphonat,
5 bis 13 Gewichtsprozent 2-itthylhexylacrylat und 1 bis
5 Gewichtsprozent N-Methylolacrylamid.
Hinsichtlich der vorstehenden Mengenverhältnisse für die Zusammensetzung der wäßrigen Emulsions- oder Latexpolynerisate
der vorliegenden Erfindung wurde festgestellt, daß es immer schwieriger wird, gute Polymerisationsumwandlung ■>-geschwindigkeiten
zu erreichen, wenn man versucht, die Menge des Bis-(kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonats in dem
erhaltenen Polymerisat wesentlich über eine Konzentration "von etwa 60 Gev/ichtsprozent zu erhöhen. Auf der anderen
Seite \»;ird die Verwendung dieser Polymer-Emulsionen als flainmenversögernde Zusätze immer unwirksamer, wenn sie
wesentlich weniger als etwa 5 Geifichtsprozent eines oder
mehrerer der Bis-(kohlenwasserstoff)-vinylphosphonate enthalten, da dann eine ziemlich hohe Konzentration an dem
Polymerisat erforderlich ist, um eine flammenverzögernde

Wirkung zu erreichen. Wenn die Konzentration eines oder
mehrerer der Bis-(kohlenwasserstof f )-vinylpho:;phonate
wesentlich unterhalb etwa 5 Gewichtsprozent der Polymer-Emulsion liegt, so wird das Mittel weniger wirksam zur
Verhinderung des Nachglirninens. Die Anwendung höherer Konzentrationen
dieser Polymerisatzusätze kann wiederum zu einer gewissen Zerstörung der physikalischen Eigenschaften
der auf diese Weise modifizierten Massen oder Stoffe führen.
Beispiele für biegsame brennbare Stoffe, die mit den flammenversögernden Mitteln der vorliegenden Erfindung behandelt
werden werden können, sind cellulosehaltige Stoffe in Form von Vliesstoffen, gewebten Textilien und sogar
Papier.
Zu den cellulosehaltigen Stoffen, die mit den Mitteln der vorliegenden Erfindung behandelt werden können, gehören
Cellulose, Rayon, Celluloseester und gemischte Ester, wie z.B. Cellulosenitrat, Celluloseacetat, Celluloseacetatbutyrat,
Celluloseacetat-propionat und Celluloseäther, wie z.B. Äthylcellulose. Diese Cellulosematerialien können
der einzige Stoff sein, der behandelt wird, oder sie können mit anderen Materialien, wie z.B. Polyestern, Polyamiden,
Polyacrylnitrilen oder Polyvinylalkohol, gemischt werden.
Die flammenverzögernden Mittel der vorliegenden Erfindung werden durch Vermischen der vorstehend beschriebenen
Polymerlatices mit Antimonoxid hergestellt. Gegebenenfalls kann das erhaltene Gemisch auch noch mit Chlorparaffinen
versetzt werden, um die Weichheit des Bindemittels zu verbessern. Mengenmäßig können die Bindemittel etwa 30 bis
etwa 95 Gewichtsprozent des Polymerisates (bezogen auf die Peststoffe, obwohl als Latex zugesetzt) und etwa 5 bis

etwa 25 Gewichtsprozent Sb-O enthalten. Chlorparaffine
können in Mengen von etwa 0 bis etwa H5 Gewichtsprozent,
bezogen auf die Zusammensetzung des Bindemittelss zugesetzt
werden. Bevorzugte Mengen liegen bei 50 bis 95 Gewichtsprozent
des Polymerisates und 5 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent Sb2O-.
Die flammenverzögernden Mittel der vorliegenden Erfindung können wahlweise verschiedene xireitere Zusätze* wie Weichmacher,
wie z.B. die Alkylester von Phthalsäure, Adipinsäure
oder Sebacinsäure, beispielsweise Dioctylphthalat oder Ditridecylphthalat, oder Arylphosphate, beispielsweise
Tripheny!phosphat oder Tricresylphosphat; Sehrlermittel
und Mittel, die das Entfernen aus der Form erleichtern, wie z.B. Stearinsäure oder deren Metallsalze, Wachse auf
Erdölbasis, Mineralöle und deren halogenierte Derivate oder Polyäthylenwachse und deren halogenierte Derivate;
sowie Wärme- und Lichtstabilisatoren, wie z.B. Barium-, Cadmium-, Calcium- oder Zinkseifen oder -phenate, basische
Bleiverbindungen, Organozinnverbindungen, wie z.B. Dialkylzinnmercaptide oder Dialkylzinnmaleate, Thiolaurinsäureanhydrid
oder n-Butylzinnsäure, epoxydierte Öle, Alkyldiphenylphosphite,
Triarylphosphite, Phenylsalicylate, o-Hydroxybenzophenone und Benzotriazole, enthalten. Derartige
Weichmacher, Schmiermittel, Stabilisatoren und Zusätze mit anderen Punktionen sind vollständiger in
"Polyvinyl Chloride" von H.A. Sarvetnick, erschienen 1969
in Van Nostrand Reinhold Co., New York, N.Y., aufgeführt.
Die flammenverzögernden Mittel der vorliegenden Erfindung können auch Füllstoffe, Pigmente, Farbstoffe, undurchsichtig
machende Mittel, dekorative Zusätze, wie z.B. reflektierende Metallfolien oder -flocken sowie andere einge-

bettete feste Stoffe, wie z.B. Glasfasern, Textilf'inern,
Asbest und dergl. enthalten, vorausgesetzt, daß diese Zusätze die flarnmenverzögernden Eigenschaften der Mittel
nicht beeinträchtigen.
Die Binde- und überzugsmittel der vorliegenden Erfindung
werden auf die biegsamen, brennbaren Cellulosematerialien nach an sich bekannten Methoden, z.B. durch Eintauchen
in ein Bad, das das Bindemittel enthält, oder durch Streichauftrag aufgebracht.
Die Erfindung wird durch das folgende Beispiel näher erläutert. Wenn nichts anderes angegeben ist, beziehen sich
alle Prozentsätze und Teile auf das Gewicht.
Es wurde ein Tauchbad der folgenden Zusammensetzung (bezogen auf 100 % Trockenstoffe) hergestellt:
57 % Polymerisat (19,2 % Bis-(ß-chloräthyl)-vinylphosphonat/66,6
% Vinylidenchlorid/9,6 % 2-Äthyl-hexylacrylatM,6
% N-Methylolacrylamid
als 50 #iger Latex)
29 % Chlorowachs (Rezo Sperse - 3 als 66,5 % aktive Emulsion)
14 % Sb2O
Das Gemisch wurde so lange gerührt, bis es gleichförmig war. Proben eines im Handel erhältlichen Vliesstoffes auf
Cellulosebasis mit einem Gewicht von 55,8 g pro m wurden dann in das Bad eingetaucht, anschließend wurde die über-

schüssige Flüssigkeit abgepreßt, und dann wurden die Proben 2 Stunden lang in einen Gebläseluftofen bei 60°C
getrocknet. Die getrockneten Proben wurden anschließend, einsra Verbrennungsversuch nach der AATCC-Methode 3^-1966
unterzogen, Die Ergebnisse des Verbrennungsversuchs waren die folgenden:

Die nicht verbrennenden und selbstverlöschenden Proben zeigten kein Nachglimmen, was gewöhnlich nur auf Baumv/ollen
beobachtet wird, die lediglich mit Halogenverbindungen und Sb0O, behandelt wurden.

Claims (10)
1. Flammenverzögernde Bindemittel auf Basis Polymerlatex,
gekennzeichnet durch einon Gehalt an (a) einen! Polymerlatex enthaltend (1) mindestens ein halogenhaltiges
α,β-äthylenisch ungesättigtes Monorneres; (2) m:indeaten:J
einen Vinylphosphonsäureester der Formel:

oder substituierte Kohlenwasserstoffreste mit 1 bis Kohlenstoffatomen bedeuten, und (3) mindestens ein drittes
Mischmonomeres aus der folgenden Gruppe: a-01efine,
Vinylester von Carbonsäuren, Alkylester der Acrylsäure oder Methacrylsäure mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in der
Alkylgruppe, äthylenisch ungesättigte Dicarbonsäuren, Anhydride von äthylenisch ungesättigten Dicarbonsäuren,
Mono- und Dialkylester von äthylenisch ungesättigten Dicarbonsäuren mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in den Alkylgruppen,
Amide von"äthylenisch ungesättigten Carbonsäuren
sowie deren N-Methylol- und Diacetonderivate; Vinyl-arylverbindungen;
Alkyl-vinyläther mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoff-

atomen in der Alkylgruppe; Diene mit Ί bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen
und Glycidylester von Acrylsäure oder Methacrylsäure; sowie (b) Antimonoxid.
2. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Polymerlatex enthält, in dem als Vinylphosphonsäureester
Bis-(ß-chloräthyl)-vinylphosphonat enthalten ist.
3. Mittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Polymerlatex enthält, in dem als halogenhaltiges
α,β-äthyleniseh ungesättigtes Monomeres Vinylidenchlorid
enthalten ist.
H. Mittel nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Polymerlatex enthält, in dem als drittes Mischmonomeres
ein Alkylacrylat mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkylgruppe enthalten ist.
5. Mittel nach Anspruch *l, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
es als drittes Mischmonomeres im Polymerlatex 2-Ä*thylhexylacrylat
enthält.
6. Mittel nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
es als drittes Mischmonomeres n-Butylacrylat enthält.
7. Mittel nach Anspruch *ί, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
es im Polymerlatex zusätzlich N-Methylolacrylamid enthält.
8. Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß es zusätzlich (c) ein Chlorparaffin enthält.

9. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es das Antimonoxid in Hencen von 5 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent
enthält.
10. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es (a) etwa 30 bis etwa 95 Gewichtsprozent Polymerlatex
(bezogen auf Feststoffe), (b) etwa 5 bis etwa 25 Gewichtsprozent Antimonoxid und (c) 0 bis etwa *J5 Gewichtsprozent
eines Chlorparaffins enthält.
