Bei stark schlagenden Papierrollen nämlich machtRotary printing often shows a blurred print on the reverse side, which is more or less visible according to the hitting of the paper roll. In order to control this inconvenience of blurred printing, the number of rollers over which the paper web runs has been increased and even the first roller that touches the paper web has been made flexible or flexible by means of springs or weights. However, none of these devices have been able to achieve a clean, unduplicated print with flapping paper rpils, and this can easily be explained. The rollers, which guide the paper and are kept in motion by it, have the tendency, due to their own weight and persistence, to drive the paper further, so that there is a tightness between the last roller that the paper passes and the paper roll itself of the paper leaves nothing to be desired. All inequalities in the length of the paper web, caused by beating rollers, are only triggered between the last guide roller and the impression cylinders, and thus a shift of the straight printing on the dirty cloth of the perfecting cylinder could not be avoided. The straight printing releases part of its color onto the dirty cloth of the perfecting cylinder, and if the smearing is not to take place, letter on letter must always meet exactly on the reverse printing cylinder. This means that the paper web must rest firmly on the two printing cylinders and must not slide. This is achieved according to the present method in that the tension of the paper web between the paper roll and the first pair of printing cylinders is regulated and maintained at a constant level by a braking device which acts independently of the known paper roll brake. The device for carrying out this method is advantageous in that the run-out of the paper roll is compensated for as early as the first paper guide roller, in that the braking device mentioned is arranged on this itself. For this purpose, the last-mentioned roller α (Fig. 1 and '2) is provided with an adjustable brake b . The paper web is pressed firmly against the roller α by a rubber roller c. In this way, the paper web can only continue to run due to the pull that the pressure cylinder exerts on it; it grinds, similar to turning bars. The impact of the paper web remains, so to speak, behind the first roller α . The roller e also has an easily adjustable band brake, so that the momentum in the roller e is also held back. In the case of strongly beating paper rolls, it does
B. unmittelbar vor dem Einlauf in die Zylinder bei e angeordnet sein.the arrangement of a second roller with brake 'and rubber roller required; this can be at any point on the paper web, z. B. be arranged immediately before the inlet into the cylinder at e .
When the paper is drawn in, the small handles g are to be loosened by half a turn so that the rubber roller c can be easily moved around the spindle h , thus creating the space required to pull the paper through. The paper is drawn in just as quickly as it used to be, and the paper web breaks significantly less often than with the resilient rollers that have been used up to now.
Die Lagerung dieser Walzen wird demnach soIt is also a very common mistake that the paper web is not evenly thick in width. The consequence of this is that the rolls are not exactly cylindrical but rather slightly conical and the paper web runs unevenly taut from the roll. The disadvantageous influence of this error is counteracted advantageously by inclining one of the rollers α or e, preferably the first. The storage of these rollers is accordingly
ausgebildet, daß man sie beliebig schrägstellen kann.trained so that they can be tilted at will.
