3. Verbindung von Verbindungen gemäß An spruch 1 zur Bekämpfung von Insekten und Milben.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Q-Äthyl-S-npropyl-O-vinyl-thionothiolphosphorsäureester,
welche eine insektizide und akarizide Wirkung aufweisen, sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß cyan- und/oder carbalkoxysubstituierte
Vinyl-(thiono)-phosphorsäureester, wie z.B.
O,O-Diäthyl-O-[t-phenyl- bzw.
1-o-methylphenyl- bzw.
1-m-methoxyphenyl- bzw.

Überraschenderweise zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen O-Äthyl-S-m-propyl-O-yinylthionothioIphosphorsäureester
eine bessere insektizide und akarizide Wirkung bei wesentlich geringerer Toxizität als die vorbekannten
Verbindungen analoger Konstitution und gleicher Wirkungsrichtung, Die Produkte gemäß vorliegender
Erfindung stellen somit eine echte Bereicherung der Technik dar. Außerdem tragen die neuen Stoffe zur
Verringerung des großen Bedarfs an immer neuen Präparaten auf dem Gebiet der Schädlingsbekämpfung
bei. Letzterer kommt dadurch zustande, daß an die im Handel befindlichen Mittel gerade auch im Hinblick auf
Fragen des Umweltschutzes immer höhere Anforderungen gestellt werden, wie geringe Warmblüter- und
Phytotoxizität, schneller Abbau in und auf der Pflanze in
kurzen Karenzzeiten, Wirksamkeit gegen resistente Schädlinge usw.
Verwendet man beispielsweise Benzoylpropionitril bzw. dessen Natriumsalz und O-Äthyl-S-n-propylthionothilphosphorsäurediesterchlorid

Die als Ausgangsmaterial zu verwendenden O-Äthyl-S-r.-prcpylthicnothiolphosphorsäürediesierliäiogeiiide
können nach bekannten Verfahren durch Umsetzung von Thionophosphorsäuretrihalogeniden, vorzugsweise
-trichlorid, mit n-P'opanol, anschließendes Erhitzen in
Gegenwart von Schwefelungsmitteln und nach Destillation des Zwischenproduktes durch weitere Reaktion mit
Alkaliäthylat gewonnen werden.

Das Phosphorylieriingsverfahren zur Herstellung der
neuen Stoffe (I) wird bevorzugt unter Mitverwendung geeigneter Lösungs- und Verdünnungsmittel durchgeführt.
Als solche komme praktisch alle inerten organischen Solventien in Frage. Hierzu gehören
insbesondere aliphatische und aromatische, gegebenenfalls chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, Toluol,
Xylol. Benzin, Methylenchlorid. Chloroform. Tetrachlorkohlenstoff.
Chlorbenzol, oder Äther, z. B. Diäthyl- und Dibutyläther. Dioxan. ferner Ketone, beispielsweise
Areton. Methyläthyl-. Methylisopropyl- und Methylisobutylketon. außerdem Nitrile, z. B. Aceto- und Propionitril,
oder auch Amide, wie Dimethylformamid.
Als .Säureakzeptoren können alle üblichen Säurebindemittel
Verwendung finden. Besonders bewährt haben sich Alkalicarbonate und -alkoholate, wie Natrium- und
Kaliumcarbonat, -methylat bzw. -äthylat. Kalium-tert.-butylat.
ferner aliphatische. aromatische oder heterocyclische Amine, beispielsweise Triethylamin, Dimethyl-
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann innerhalb eines größeren Bereichs variiert werden. Im allgemeinen
arbeitet man zwischen 0 und 100" C. vorzugsweise bei 0 und 50' C.
Man läßt die Umsetzung im allgemeinen bei Normaldruck ablaufen.
Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens setzt man die Ausgangsstoffe meist in äquimolarem Verhältnis ein.
Ein Überschuß der einen oder anderen Komponente bringt keine wesentlichen Vorteile. Im allgemeinen
tropft man die Phosphorsäurekomponente zu der Keto- bzw. Enolverbindung. wobei letztere evtl. ohne zwischenzeitliche
Isolierung eingesetzt werden kann, gegebenenfalls in einem der angegebenen Lösungsmittel,
und läßt gegebenenfalls die Mischung unter Erwärmen ein bis mehrere Stunden nachreagieren.
Nach dem Abkühlen wird die R^aktionslösung in einem organischen Lösungsmittel aufgenommen und die
organische Phase wie üblich (z. B. durch Waschen. Trocknen und Destillation) aufgearbeitet.
Die neuen Verbindungen fallen in Form von ölen an. die sich z.T. nicht unzersetzt destillieren lassen, jedoch
durch sogenanntes »Andestillieren«. d. h. längeres Erhitzen unter vermindertem Druck auf mäßig erhöhte
Temperaturen, von den letzten flüchtigen Anteilen befreit und auf diese Weise gereinigt werden können. Zu
ihrer Charakterisierung dient der Brechnungsindex.
Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, zeichnen sich die erfindungsgemäßen O-Äthyl-S-n-propyl-O-vinyl-thionothiolphosphorsäureester
durch eine hervorragende insektizide und akarizide Wirksamkeit gegenüber
Pflanzen-. Hygiene und Vorratsschädlingen aus. Sie besitzen bei niedriger Phytotoxizität und sehr geringer
Warmblütertoxizität sowohl eine gute Wirkung gegen saugende als auch fressende Insekten.
Aus diesem Grund können die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen mit Erfolg im Pflanzenschutz sowie auf
dem Hygiene- und Vorratsschutzsektor als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel eingesetzt werden.
Zu den saugenden Insekten gehören im wesentlichen Blattläuse (Aphidae) wie die grüne Pfirsichblattlaus
(Myzus persicae). die schwarze Bohnen- (Doralis fabae).
Hafer- (Rhopalosiphum padi). Erbsen- (Macrosiphum pisi) und Kartoffellaus (Macrosiphum solanifolii). ferner
die Johannisbeergallen- (Cryptomyzus korschelti). mehlige Apfel- (Sappaphis mali). mehlige Pflaumen-(Hyalopterus
arundinis) und schwarze Kirschenbiattiaus (Myzus cerasi). außerdem Schild- und Schmierläuse
(Coccina), /.. B. die Efeuschild· (Aspidiotus hederae) und Napfschildlaus (Lecanium hesperidum) sowie die
Schmierlaus (Pseudococcus maritimus); Blasenfuße (Thysanoptera) wie Hercinothrips femoralis und Wanzen,
beispielsweise die Rüben- (Piesma quadrata), Baumwoll- (Dysdercus intermedius). Bett- (Cimex
lectularius). Raub- (Rhodnius prolixus) und Chagaswan- zt (Triatoma infestans), ferner Zikaden, wie Euscelis
bilobatus und Nephotettix bipunctatus.
Bei den beißenden Insekten wären vor allem zu nennen Schmetterlingsraupen (Lepidoptera) wie die
Kohkchabe (Plutella maciilipennis), der Schwammspinner
(Lymantria dispiir). Goldafter (Euproctis chrysorrhoea)
und Ringelspinner (Malacosoma neustria). weiterhin die Kohl- (Mamestra brassicae) und die Saateule
(Agrotis segetum). der große Kohlweißling (Pieris brassicae). kleine Frostspanner (Cheimatobia brumata).
Eichenwickler (Tortrix viridana), der Heer- (Laphygma frugiperda) und aegyptische Baumwoll wurm (Prodenia
Mehl- (Ephestia kühniella) und große Wachsmotte (Galleria mellonella).
Weiterhin zählen zu den beißenden Insekten Käfer (Coleoptera) z. B. Korn- (Sitophilus granarius = Calandra
granaria), Kartoffel- (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), Ampfer- (Gastrophysa viridula), Meerrettichblatt-(Phaedon
cochleariae). Rapsglanz- (Meligethes aeneus), Himbeer- (Byturus tomentosus), Speisebohnen- (Bruchidius
= Ac?':'.hoscelides obtectus). Speck- (Dermestes frischi). Khapra- (Trogoderma granarium), rotbrauner
Reismehl- (Tribolium castaneum), Mais- (Calandra oder Sitophilus zeamais). Brot- (Stegobium paniceum),
gemeiner Mehl- (Tenebrio molitor) und Getreideplattkäfer (Oryzaephilus surinamensis). aber auch im Boden
lebende Arten z. B. Drahtwürmer (Agriotes spec.) und Engerlinge (Melolontha melolontha); Schaben wie die
Deutsche (Blattella germanica). Amerikanische (Periplaneta americana). Madeira- (Leucophaea oder Rhyparobia
maderae). Orientalische (Blatta orientalis), Riesen
(Blaberus giganteus) und schwarze Riesenschabe (Blaberus fuscus) sowie Henschoutedenia flexivitta;
ferner Orthopteren z. B. das Heimchen (Gryllus domesticus); Termiten wie die Erdtermite (Reticulitermes
flavipes) und Hymenopteren wie Ameisen,
beispielsweise die Wiesenameise (Lasius niger).
Die Dipteren umfassen im wesentlichen Fliegen wie die Tau-(Drosophila melanogaster). Mittelmeerfrucht-(Ceratitis
capitata). Stuben- (Musca domesrica). kleine Stuben- (Fannia canicularis). Glanz- (Phormia regina)
und Schmeißfliege (Calliphora erythrocephala) sowie den Wadenstecher (Stomoxys calcitrans): ferner Mükken.
z.B. Stechmücken wie die Gelbfieber- (A..!es aegypti). Haus- (Culex pipiens) und Malariamücke
(Anopheles stephensi).
Zu den Milben (Acari) zählen besonders die Spinnmilben (Tetranychidae) wie die Bohnen- (Tetranychus
telarius=Tetranychus althaeae oder Tetranychus urticae) und die Obstbaumspinnmilbe (Paratetranychus
pilosus = Panonychus ulmi). Gallmilben, z. B. die Johannisbeergallmilbe
(Eriophyes ribis) und Tarsonemiden beispielsweise die Triebspitzenmilbe (Hemitarsonemus
latus) und Cyclamenmilbe (Tarsonemus pallidus):
schließlich Zecken wie die I-ederzecke (Ornithodorus
moubata).
Bei der Anwendung gegen Hygiene- und Vorratsschädlinge,
besonders Fliegen und Mücken, zeichnen sich die Verfahrensprodukte außerdem durch eine
hervorragende Residualwirkung auf Holz und Ton
sowie eine gute Alkalistabilität auf gekalkten Unterlagen
aus.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in die
üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, F.mulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten
und Granulate. Diese werden in bekannter Weise hergestellt, /.. B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit
Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln, unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen
Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln
und/oder Dispergiermitteln. Im Falle der Benutzung
von Wasser als Streckmittel können z. B. auch organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet
werden. Als flüssige Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol.
Benzol oder Alkylnaphthaline. chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie
Chlorbenzole. Chloräthvlene oder Methylenchlorid, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Cyclohexan oder
Paraffine, z. B. Erdölfraktionen. Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glycol sowie deren Äther und Ester. Ketone, wie
Aceton, Methylethylketon. Methvlisobutylketon oder Cyclohexanon, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid
und Dimethylsiilfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit
verflüssigten gasförmigen Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei
normaler Temperatur und unter Normaldruck gasförmig sind. z. B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe,
z. B. Freon; als feste Trägerstoffe: natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline. Tonerden.
Talkum. Kreise. Quarz. Attapulgit. Montmorillonit. oder
Diatomeenerde, und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate:
als Emulgiermittel: nichtionogene und anionische Emulgatoren, wie Polyoxyäthylen-Fettsäure-Ester. Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther.
z. B. Alkylaryl-polvglykol-Äther. Alkylsulfonate. Alkylsulfate. und Arylsulfonate;
als Dispergiermittel: z. B. Lignin, Sulfitablaufen und Methylcellulose.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in den Formulierungen in Mischung mit anderen bekannten
Wirkstoffen vorliegen.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0.1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise
zwischen 0.5 und 90%.
Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Form ihrer Formulierungen oder in den daraus bereiteten Anwendungsformen,
wie gebrauchsfertige Lösungen. Emulsionen. Schäume. Suspensionen, Pulver. Pasten, lösliche
Pulver, Stäubmittel und Granulate angewendet werden. Die Anwendung geschieht in üblicher Weise, z. B. durch
Verspritzen. Versprühen. Vernebeln, Verstäuben. Verstreuen, Verräuchern, Vergasen, Gießen, Beizen oder
Inkrustieren.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen in den anwendungsfertigen Zubereitungen können in größeren Bereichen
variiert werden. Im allgemeinen liegen sie zwischen 0,00Oi und 10%, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,01 und 1%.
Die Wirkstoffe können auch mit gutem Erfolg im Ul'.ra-Low-Volume-Verfahren (ULV) verwendet werden, wo es möglich ist, Formulierungen bis zu 95% oder
sogar den 100%igen Wirkstoff allein auszubringen.
In den folgenden Anwendungsbeispielen wurden die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksamkeit gegen eine Reihe von Pflanzenschädlingen im
Vergleich zu bekannten Produkten getestet Die im einzelnen geprüften Substanzen der weiter unten

(Drosophila melanogaster) befinden und bedeckt sie mit einer Glasplatte.
Nach den angegebenen Zeiten bestimmt man die Abtöüing in %. Dabei bedeutet 100%. daß alle Flienen
abgetötet wurden, 0% bedeutet, daß keine !liegen
getötet wurden.

Emulgator: 1 Gewichtsteil Alkylarylpoly-

Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der
angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel, das die angegebene Menge Emulgator enthält, und verdünnt das Konzentrat
mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Mit der Wirkstoffzubereitung werden Bohnenpflanzen (Phaseolus vulgaris), die ungefähr eine Höhe von 10
bis 30 cm haben, tropfnaß besprüht. Diese Bohnenpflanzen sind stark mit allen Entwicklungsstadien der
gemeinen Spinnmilbe oder Bohnenspinnmilbe (Tetranychus urticae) befallen.
Nach den angegebenen Zeiten wird die Wirksamkeil der Wirkstoffzubereitung bestimmt, indem man die
toten Tiere auszählt. Der so erhaltene Abtötungsgrad wird in % angegeben. 100% bedeutet, daß alle
Spinnmilben abgetötet wurden, 0% bedeutet, daß keine Spinnmilben abgetötet wurden.
Wirkstoffe, Wirkstoffkonzentrationen, Auswertungszeiten und Resultate gehen aus der nachfolgender
Tabelle 4 hervor:

In analoger Weise können die folgenden Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I) gewonnen werden:
19,1 g (0,1 Mol) des Natriumsalzes von 3-Cyan-brenztraubensäureisopropylester
werden in 200 ml Acetonitril suspendiert Zu dieser Suspension tropft man 21,8 g
(0,1 Mo!) O-Äthyl-S-n-propyl-thionothiolphosphorsäureesterchlorid
und läßt den Ansatz noch 4 Stunden bei 400C nachreagieren. Die Reaktionsmischung wird

Zu einer Lösung von 5,4 g (0,1 Mol) Natriummethylat in 100 ml Methanol fügt man 14,5 g (0,1 Mol) oj-Cyanacetophenon.
Nachdem letzteres völlig in Lösurg gegangen ist, wird aus Lösungsmittel abgedampft und
der Rückstand in 150 ml Acetonitril suspendiert. Zu dieser Suspension tropft man 21,8 g (0,1 Mol) O-Äthyl-S-n-isopropyl-thionothiolphosphorsäureesterchlorid
und läßt den Ansatz noch 4 Stur.dsn bei 40" C
nachreagieren. Die Reaktionsmischung v,ird danach abgekühlt und in 500 ml Toluol gegossen, die Toluollösung
mit gesättigter Natriumbicarbonatlösung und Wasser gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet.
Dann wird das Lösungsmittel unter vermindertem Druck abgedampft und der Rückstand andes'illiert. Man
erhält 31,5 g (96% der Theorie) O-Äthyl-S-n-propyl-O-(l-phenyI-2-cyanvinyl)-thionothiolphosphorsäureester
in Form eines gelben Öles mit einem Brechungsindex von π?: 1,5683.

Ketonitrile bzw. ihre Alkalisalze können beispielsweise nach folgenden Methoden gewonnen werden:

150 g (1 Mol) Benzoesäureäthylester (oder 1 5fi g
[IMoI] Benzoesäu'emethylester) und 54 g (IMoI)
Natriummethyiat werden auf dem Ölbad bei 80 C zu
einer gelatinösen Masse verrührt. Unter die Oberfläche der homogenen Masse trägt man 5Ί g (1.25MoI)
Acetonitril ein und steigert die Badtemperatur auf 120 bis 14O0C. Nach 12 Stunden wird die Reaktionsmischung
abgekühlt und in 21 Wasser gegossen. Man extrahiert sie einmal mit Benzol, um neutrale Verbindungen
zu entfernen, und säuert dann mit .'.onzentrierter
Salzsäure an. Der sich bildende Niederschlag w ird in Benzol aufgenommen. Nach dem Abziehen des Benzols
verbleibt ein fester Rückstand, der aus wenig Äthanol umkristallisiert wird. Man erhält 112 g (79% der
Theorie) ω-Cyanacetophenon vom Schmelzpunkt 80 bis
82'C.
Methode 2

Man löst 24 g (0,125 MoI) 2-Cyano-3'-nitroacetophenon in 15OmI Methyläthylketon und erwärmt die
Lösung 2 Stunden mit 28 g gemahlener Pottasche auf 50° C Nach dem Abkühlen auf 300C wird das
Reaktionsgemisch tropfenweise mit 26 g (0.125MoI)
O-Äthyl-S-n-propylthionothiolphosphorsäurediesterchlorid versetzt und 4 Stunden auf 5O0C erwärmt Nach
dem Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur gießt man den Ansatz in Wasser und schüttelt das ausgeschiedene Öl
mit Methylenchlorid aus. Die organische Phase wird mit Wasser bis zur neutralen Reaktion gewasche?, getrocknet, das Lösungsmittel unter vermindertem Druck
entfernt und der Rückstand aidestilliert Es werden 28 g

136 g (1 Mol) Benzoesäuremethylester (oder 150 g
(I MoI) Benzoesäureäthylester) und 54 g (1 Mol) Natriummethylat werden auf dem Ölbad auf 80=C erhitzt und

Natriumsalz ab. Es wird nach wiederholtem Digerieren mit Äther im Exsiccator getrocknet. Die Ausbeute
beträgt 100 g (60% der Theorie).
