KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Bei dem elektrischen^Widerstandsschweißverfahren nach Patent 224879, bei welchem eine Gleichstromquelle in^einer Kondensatorschaltung mit einem Schweißtransformator zur Anwendung kommt, macht sich, wenn der Transformator in Reihe mit einem Kondensator liegt, der Übelstand bemerkbar, daß bei nicht geschlossenem · sekundären Stromkreis des Transformators, d. h. in den Arbeitspausen und bei mangelhaftem Stromschluß in bzw. an den Schweißstücken der Transformator als Drosselspule wirkt, und daß infolgedessen starke Funkenbildung an dem Stromwender eintritt, der bei Umwandlung des zur Verfügung stehenden Gleichstromes in Wechselstrom als wesentlicher Bestandteil mitwirkt. Es hat sjch nun gezeigt, daß dieser Übelstand vermieden werden kann, wenn zwei oder mehrere Kondensatoren in Reihe geschaltet werden, und daß parallel zu einem Teile dieser Kondensatoren die primäre Wickelung des Transformators geschaltet wird.In the electrical resistance welding process according to patent 224879, in which a direct current source in ^ a capacitor circuit with a welding transformer Applied makes itself when the transformer is in series with a capacitor lies, the disadvantage is noticeable that when the secondary circuit is not closed the transformer, d.
